360's on leverless are very easy and consistent in SF6, it's definitely just a technique thing. You literally just do a half circle, then press up and punch at the same time. It doesn't even have to be one motion; 63214n8P and 632147P are both valid inputs.
Check your inputs in training mode, if you're missing the down input just slow the half circle down. SPDs on leverless are often slower than on stick, but they should be easy and consistent. Hell I play on keyboard (with up over down so I have to move the finger) and can still do them reliably just fine.

World Tour lets you customize a load of shit. idk if I'd rely on it for combos. Unironically running the combo trials probably makes a lot more sense.

You hit one move, then either link or cancel into another move.
Links are when one hit leaves them in hit stun long enough that you can literally just hit them again before they recover; they cannot block if they are in hitstun (or any other time they aren't in full control).
Cancels are cancelling a normal move into a special.
One button, linked into another button, cancelled into a special (cancelled into lvl 3 if you have it) will unironically carry you a decent distance while learning SF.

You can look at the frame data and figure it out from the numbers, but realistically you can just learn specific shit. "st.MP links into either cr.MP or b.HP, and into st.HP on counter hit" or whatever.

Certain moves will put people into a specific juggle state and you can usually juggle with either specials or drive-rush-enhanced normals but it varies. Look up combos and/or experiment beforehand.

You can still parry with less than 0.5 DG just for a short time, right?
But it would need to be a Perfect Parry I think, I suppose you can hold parry as you wake up to get an imperfect parry on a meaty without burning out.

On supercombo the wording is

I don't understand why Isms, Grooves, and the ability to use old chars in ST were always championed as beloved mechanics & viewed as good for player expression but somehow characters having style differences due to Classic & Modern is now said to be bad for gameplay and should be removed.

People bring up different "rules" that Modern & Classic create with their differences but did any of you guys play Alpha 3? Isms would go so far that it would change foundational aspects like having walk speed differences yet nobody complained about playing under different rules. You made a choice, I made choice, it's all in the game. So I don't understand why are variation systems hated now with Modern&Classic but pre SF6 they were loved.

New wave players who barely go high in rank say “oh man I wish I could turn or mod this off! Fuck it’s so cheesy!” But nothing really happens since even Knee, a high ranked player and tourney winner customizes and even has a rule of “if you’re picking a character, be sure to deck them out in something nice!”

I should also mention that twitch reactions are what I do most of the time I think. I only tighten up if they start explicitly baiting twitch reactions but most people don't do that and you can scare people from baiting by being active and pressing lots of buttons yourself that will counterhit or punish counter any random buttons from them. The higher rank you get, the better whiff punishing becomes during pressure than pure neutral imo because players start getting better at not whiffing in neutral or at baiting, but in scary pressure situations they have less reason to bait and it's riskier and it's easier to get desperate people who want you off of them or want their turn to whiff. From neutral, getting a player to block a button or blocking one of their buttons also sets up spacing traps or just a light pressure situation where it's easier to predict what they might want to press that a lot of players who are "good" at neutral and not whiffing are often opened up. Just walking in neutral and twitch reacting will be good enough at plat and to get you to 1500 MR though. Getting fancy and playing real neutral isn't really a thing until you're escaping the 1600 MR hell

This is pure cope. Diamond and low-master are the peak points for players hating the game. People higher up are far from positive but if you're not putting enough time in to get to 1800 without some level of understanding that the game is what it is.
And for the record, that doesn't even mean that they're wrong. A good game should be fun at all, or at least most levels of play. SF6 is completely designed around rewarding retards for throwing out random shit at gold through diamond, while still technically functioning as a competitive game at a high level (which it does, even if it's boring and bad).
It's the mid level of play where it completely and utterly falls apart, and that's why you see so much bitching here about the game.

It is entirely comparable. Jive didn't have endless frametraps with specials or chain cancelled jabs so normals had to be plus to give you pressure. Sf6 made normals minus but put frametraps into every jab chain and special cancel. All pokes were minus in jive too.

It would be insane on block. On hit you still get a knockdown and enough frame advantage to get a meaty DR overhead or whatever.
Also, counterhit/punish sweep into DRC on Ryu would have the perfect frame data for a safejump I'm pretty sure.

I think capcom just wants ryu to be top tier in this game. They keep giving him all kinds of ape pressure, guessing games, and plus frames and damage and ken actually has worse oki than him. Ken is actually less rushdown than ryu now and his strength oddly is being around stand fierce range and having side switches and corner carry.

nah you can get this mid screen. medium arrow into medium dp can be a bit annoying, so you can try light arrow into medium dp instead.
you can also try l arrow into sweep. if you want good oki mid screen, you can do jmp~divekick , but u do lose some damage and corner carry

Nah he's high tier. Jinrai pressure is just strong and having good side switches to constantly have the corner position that is every characters win condition is just way too strong, so ken overshadows ryu still. If season 3 decides to gut side switches then ryu will come out on top.

Ryu is more mid range, same with Luke but he has more corner carry and rape. Ken is way more rushdown and aggressive but he can play defensive and rushdown too since he's bullshit.

They have a 15f (250ms) window to react, obviously its more complicated than reacting to a single stimuli like a reaction test, lets not get into the nuances of that, but some peoples reaction speeds are insane, like 6-10 frames (100-160ms~), I imagine some people like that could probably react sometimes.

Yeah thats 9/7 frames AFTER the first active frame, throws are 5f start up in both games.
So if the 6th frame is first active frame, you have 15 frames to tech in 6 and 13 in V, unless I am missing something.
Obviously the fact that its subtle animations and not a flash of colour on a screen means people will be slower but I feel like it must be possible for some people, probably not viable because youd dedicate too much focus on one option but just something interesting to me.

Lets actually think about this seriously, Capcom claims it takes 2 months to make a costume, maybe 3 if we assume tweaks refers to clothing. (I do)
1st pack left out the DLC characters because they hadnt all released yet, so another pack would be for just Year 1 DLC + base game, a total of 20 characters.
At 3 months per costume, 1 employee could make 4 per year, so 20 should take 5 employees one year to complete.
So are we to believe that they literally dont have even 5 employees to put on costume duty?
What the fuck is going on at Crapcom that they cant have like 10-20 people making 40-80 costumes a year?

It's really degenerate that Jamie gets to have a pretty big button like sthk as his biggest poke and it's drive cancellable for him. At least kens buttons are slightly stubby and his space controlling sthk isn't cancellable so he actually does play a little neutral. Jamie taps your toe from half screen with a god button and drive rush cancels and has no reason to ever play neutral.

i love the official buckler site because you can see how master rank is all classic users beating the shit out of modern users, because having half your toolset and doing less damage is objectively shit, but the shitter ranks like bronze and silver have modern players with higher winrates.
bad players think modern is good because the only thing anyone at their skill level is worried about is how to do special moves. once you actually learn how to play the game, it's literally a useless handicap.

Not really, when you go by percentiles it's more or less an even spread. Some months there are some variations where Classic will occupy more of the top half of the rank list than modern, sometimes it's vice versa but it's always close to 50/50 for the pre plat ranks.

And the thing is, the type of Modern chars that win at lower ranks are not the Modern chars ppl would expect, it's weird Modern chars like Guile, Manon, JP, Blanka, and Dhalsim. Modern Shoto chars or Modern chars with 1 button DPs like Cammy are never highly ranked in the lower ranks. This implies whatever is determining the meta down there in the pre plat ranks is something separate from control scheme choice.
