Most likely GGG isn't confident that they can automate the transaction through the website app without allowing for bugs that mess with player stash inventory (duplicating/deleting). They need an actual built-in system in the game. The current system just enables flaky chinese sellers and bots to fuck the market endlessly.

Well it can't fucking hurt now. An automated system where buys are forced means prices wouldn't be as fucked as they are. Bots can't force items to 1 ex by having 300 people list the item for that then never respond to any whispers.

It is literally impossible to me to fight the last sanctum boss because my monk has insane mana issues that are only fixed via mana on kill, which doesn't work for bosses. I have a charge per second flask and it doesn't really make any difference. I don't really know what to change in order to fix this. For other bosses it works fine since I just kill them really quickly.

I think one of my few big gripes with the game that I expect they'll fix at some point is the visuals on ability distancing, especially enemy abilities. It's borderline impossible to tell what the damage radius is on an enemy's damaging ability without know what it is ahead of time. Sometimes it feels like a spam suddenly has 10 more meters in damage radius than what it looked like it was going to be, definitely something unfriendly to people new to the game I think.
Small radius predictors, even if very slightly, would go a long way.

Half the problem is that someone has been duplicating shit for sure. It makes no sense for there to be this many divs in the market. Some people are walking around with 200+ divs when we're not even two weeks in, and half the first week had fucked up drops.

Why do my item colors not look like this on ps5? Currency is white, BLUES are white, at least rares and unique show up the proper colors. I have no idea if it's a graphical glitch that can be fixed by changing some settings or what but it's really annoying and has been like this since launch.

It allowes me to stay in demon form up to 100 stacks without a single unique item and go for Zealot's Oath + Pyromantic Pact so no mana problems ever. And I'm free to get any ring or armour I want. The only requirement is +regen suffix.
You see the default build is Ghostwreathe (cheap, not really that good) + Ming's Heart. While the only costly thing on my build is +3 to spells +30 regen amulet, but you only really need regen part. Everything else is fucking dirt cheap.
With Ghostwreathe I can go up to 130 stacks with this tree, but I don't like it really. Though dmg cap is definitely higher. Ming's Heart will give even more dmg, but It'll become harder to cap res.
I'm not saying it's the optimal build in any way. But it kind of works and I really wanted to try Pyromantic Pact.

yeah but that doesn't work because your damage will be very bad until you have a large number of stacks, and that takes a long time. by the time you start doing good damage, you will drop out of demon form and you are back to zdps for the next minute. you need to be able to stay indefinitely in demon form for this build to work at all.

The biggest problem with poe2 is simple: it needs the other classes to release.
I am here looking at playing a new character and it's all variants of the same.
The downside of having a more varied skillset is that when you pick a weapon the skills you use are largely the same
There is no reason not to use tempest bell when you use a staff, glacial cascade, storm wave and wind blast are the same skill with a different element.

Making skills so hyper-focused around a single weapon shot them in the foot I think
Solution: allow more cross-use of skills, such as allowing earthquake on quarterstaves, lightning arrow on crossbows. Seperate grenade skills from weapons and just allow people to chug them.
Solution2: release the rest of the game

Unironically, why? Crossbows have 5% base crit rate, and there are barely any support passives for the playstyle. Maybe if Greatswords end up having a decent Crit chance it could work, but that's also going to depend on what the skills toed to the GS even look like.

It's more of a 5/6L skill. It can benefit from a lot more exponential scaling than bell. You give it the combo support that has no upper limit, the support that gives 40% more damage for moving 2m (although that might work for bell too), aftershock, fist of war, consume broken armor, etc. Poison. Just all the things that multiply its damage but won't work on bell. And you use it as a finisher

There's so much fucking chaos damage in the game that that shitty filler passive is actually really good. 2 points to take 40% less damage from every other enemy in the game, meanwhile half the fucking ascendancy is devoted to a mechanic that LOWERS your survivability by turning off ghost shroud, wind dancer, and grim feast and only gives 700 life in return.

i got all the attack speed nodes from the quarterstaff section, but i noticed when i got a staff that did lots of added stun buildup that bosses got stunned super quick and i'd basically be able to melt them before they could get attacks off so i specced into stun and attack speed nodes

unless i'm missing something, that means investing in cold nodes for glacial bolt is smarter than investing in phys nodes for hv+ap

Lol Primal is just another subclass of skill gems. The wolf/bear icon already hints at shapeshifting skills. It's more likely that anyone can shapeshift with enough Str/Int but won't be that strong out of the gate without Druid ascendancy nodes

Just tested it.
Scattershot on Bonestorm might be an exploit they patch in the future.

Bonestorm has: can fire up to X projectiles.
Normally you'd channel it until it has say 20 projectiles.
Scattershot should add two to that.

But what it actually does is instead of channeling one by one you channel 3 at a time now so you reach the max amount a lot faster.

it's especially cancerous in poe2 cause there's so many maps that have narrow corridors in between rooms and those corridors turn into death traps with all the projectiles/ground explosions.
at least in poe1 you could just ignore those types of maps, in poe2 sometimes you have no choice if it's on the path to something you want.

if you are playing a spell then yeah prioritize lvls over flat dmg/dmg increased
most spells base dmg scale exponentially with lvl
ideally you'd want max lvl AND also inc dmg but that's expensive

At least the DPS calculation is wrong, because it goes down a lot but they should then also triple the value (or a bit more than triple since you get 3 projectiles per 0,84s).

DPS estimate is probably based on a single projectile hitting or something.

It has issues with targeting and misses half of its projectiles on 99% of targets in this game. That's what makes it shit.
