use trans/aug orbs very liberally, you will get tons of them

use regals on blues with 2 nice mods

use artificers orbs on any decent item, they arent too hard to come by from disenchanting items with sockets

use exalts on items with several good mods (at least 3), but also consider saving them and trading for much better pieces. You can find gear with 3 or 4 really nice mods that only cost 1 ex which will be a massive upgrade. Then you can use extra exalts on that item to finish it

alchemy orbs seem quite rare, I would hang onto them until you either get a nice white base or simply trade them. Trading them for ex or for better gear is probably the highest value.

vaal and chaos orbs are tricky because they can totally ruin an item, I have just been holding on to mine for now

no, the zone level doesn't matter. it gets overwritten by the trial you put in. for 3rd ascendancy it needs to be a 3 floor trial, which is lvl 60+

ok, my coop buddy bricked his infernalist by act 2 cruel. he picked up a ton of fire damage, spell damage and ignite nodes but somehow does negative damage with fucilade+incinerate.

any suggestions to salvage a level ~65 infernalist? new builds, secrets to doing fire damage?

The stances, while unique, primarily only provide 1-3 moves depending on stance.

It's it's own thing. Like a step between Souls and Nioh with an absolutely gorgeous presentation. I enjoyed my time with it. But, I'd still play more Lies of P, SoP, or Nioh 2.

What build are you using with it?
I tried using it as a cleaerer but run into a few problems.
It's 334% attack damage and has an added 1 second tacked onto it.

Mine takes 1.41 seconds to resolve.
For comparison my basic attack is 283% and resolves in .41 seconds. More importantly, it also doesn't interact with combo due to being a slam and is obviously too slow to deal with bell.
Maybe it's a weapon thing. I'm only at t10 maps.

Even when boosted with mantra of destruction I never get good feedback using it.

It does end eventually. Just takes awhile. I think they stealth buffed it as before only meta builds were making it last until the end of a map.

I didn't play ritual in PoE 1. Is there a way to tell the general difficulty of a ritual before I start it? Twice now the first ritual or two in a map is easy, effortless, then the one after (2nd or 3rd) in the same map is significantly harder, both were 'you will die 100% for sure unless you log-out' events.

FINISHED MY LAST ASCENDANCY IN THE ULTIMATUM VS TRIALJANNY

Very good and well balanced fight. Adequate amount of cool visual spectacle and 0 unfair shit.
Much better than timetranny subhuman kike at the end of Sekhemas.
But the RNG drop of the 3 keys is fucking retarded. Had to buy 1 key for 7 exalts and sell two other for 9 and 21 respectively. Also drops weren't awful.
AND at the end Trialmaster dropped Mahuxotl's Shield for me with 450 socket and 553 armor rolls. Easy fucking 200+ exalts

at least for me it lets me 1 button swap all my aoe/fire pen into bleed/boss stuff whenever i feel like killing an actual boss. no second weapon needed, i just move my weapon into my offset.
as for actually using it: make sure you have available points to use, then use the top right buttons to put them into the separate trees.

I have 9.7k armour and stats screen says 75% (level 73). I'm only on maps T5 right now, so I don't know if it makes sense to continue stacking armor or if I should switch to buffing evade a bit (it's at like 50%). I'm playing Merc and both of these will get cut down in half when I get my 3rd and 4th ascendency for Sorcery Ward (as soon as the fucking items drop).

Can I get some help with my build? I'm new to the game (didn't play the first game). Started off as a Mercenary, found the Caged God staff and when I looked it up to see if it was worth anything, I found out it's centered around some kind of stat stacking build.

I didn't have the other items for it so the STR variant seemed the most easiest, straight forward and cheapest. Eventually I got the 15% STR helmet too and am currently on maps. I'm at t7 maps now. The last map I did was around... 4 to 5 minutes, I think.

Can I push this further while being as poor as I am or should I maybe move toward being a 2h Mace and Shield type build???? While I seem to clear pretty decently fast (I can make a video if that's necessary), I don't seem to have the greatest boss DPS, maybe? I'm not sure. I did my third ascendancy at level 62. So I got that now too. I'm also kinda struggling to get more gear. I'm not really sure what I am doing here.

What's wrong with it? I stack STR because of the staff and it gives me dmg and life. From the builds using the staff I looked up, a lot of the STR ones have similar trees. They don't have that 5% STR thing though because they annoint that, but I don't have the money to do that.

Yeah, I'm beginning to see that. I just got the item early on and it made the game an absolute breeze. I was killing everything in seconds, bosses included. But once I got to mapping, it felt like I was slowing down. I'm still pretty fast, or at least, I think I am. But I feel like I'm getting nowhere. I can't seem to get better gear and I've been using the resources in the OP to look up items that result in higher numbers for higher stats, and they are all exorbitantly expensive.

Unless you post a video of you playing, I can't tell you if it's good or bad.

But I will say this.
Stat stacking is incredibly expensive. The chest armor you would want is like... 5 div. And that's just an okay one.
The amulet you'd want is like 80 div and again, that'd be a shit one.
The gloves if you switch to an Int version is like 10 div.

The game desperately needs an in-game marketplace/auction house. Or at the very least a way to force listed items to be sold for the price they've been listed for. I was against it at first, but it's pretty fucking obvious that the current system is shit and easily manipulated by chinks because no one has to commit to the transaction. If enough people list something for a certain value and simply ignore all whispers, that becomes the new value of that thing.

Seeing as there's no patch for a while, anyone else playing frost wall with cascade? Get enough aoe and it both clears the screen and instakills single target. Latest patch made it so they destroy themselves with spell echo, but cascade still works.

It's more of a 5/6L skill. It can benefit from a lot more exponential scaling than bell. You give it the combo support that has no upper limit, the support that gives 40% more damage for moving 2m (although that might work for bell too), aftershock, fist of war, consume broken armor, etc. Poison. Just all the things that multiply its damage but won't work on bell. And you use it as a finisher.
