There aren't enough of them right?
They need to make an on death effect that drops toxic ground which implodes after 0.1 seconds and turns into a homing missile which follows the player and explodes into more toxic ground

Okay, this is my 4th time making a warrior and leveling it. It's actually not that bad. This shit hits like a truck with Shockwave Totem -> Boneshatter -> Infernal Cry -> Perfect Strike against bosses. Act 1 boss died in like, 10 seconds.

Is it true that crossbows are generally far inferior to bows? It's a shame that crossbows don't have some sort of off-hand like quivers for bows. Like a bolt box, or a shield (either regular shield, or crossbow-exclusive shield if normal shields are too strong, like a pavise).

LMAO armour and life are both mediocre and quarterstaff has several ranged skills with alright clear and scales much easier and further on top of being a much faster weapon inherently in a game where speed is pretty much the sole measure of your power. mace is the worst archetype in the game right now and the only reason to play it is if you really get off to slow slams. they even nerfed the only tech mace had for decent clear.

It's true, and all it would take is for them to rewrite and recast Jamal in Act 2, and make it so the map generation is more carried, interesting, and show a critical path in Acts 2 and 3. It's actually not much and it'd do wonders for the pacing of those areas. Act 3 could do with more relevant story beats, but it's serviceable. Needs more inca man before the literal final chamber.

make sure you dont have any strength or any life on your gear at all, make sure each piece of gear you own has flat life regen if possible.
i am at 200hp, 150 life regen, 4k ES. even the 200hp feels on the high end, if you corrupt mings and ghostwrithe and add life catalysts to them you can knock off even more of your life but that is a pretty big investment

I had this happen in a multiplayer game, just less obvious because the crystal went and stayed in normally, it just didn't drain the water.

nah, I have resolute technique. Sometimes boneshatter just hits an enemy fucking behind you that isn't primed for stun. Happens less after they worked on it a lil bit but it still happens. Here I think it was partly because I went to pick up the map, got pathing interrupted by monsters, then proceeded to drop my spaghetti

trying to get not too much or too little stun build up is also a hassle sometimes, I'm hoping higher tiers fix the problem or GGG fixes it (lol) because , I have more stun build up than I want and have run out of stun build up passives that I can get rid of

Minions are so complete dogshit now if you're not playing in Hardcore. 4-link poison concoction and 4-link lightning arrow are both dealing more damage in leveling act gear than a fully decked out level 32 arsonists with three 6-links in the build.
Massive regret doing this as it was an insane waste of currency and I can't keep up with the actual good builds. Highly recommend anyone rerolling to look into poison concoction build as I just rerolled to that this morning and it's doing more boss damage at level 60 than I am doing at level 91 on my infernalist.

Divs and ex had roughly the same drop rate in poe1, the only thing that gave them their values were the crafting bench costs.

NTA I am at act 3 and 31 deaths I am a total noob. Me and my duo can't kill shit. Bosses take forever and we roll around like monkeys for 10-20 mins at a time. Just finishing act 2 Jamanra took 20 mins of tickling and dodging. Act 1 count took an hour of retrying. There is a town with the maraketh in acts 4 and 9 but there's very little to do with their culture from a zone where you fight shit perspective.
There's a few Vaal zones in act 2 and a fair few more scattered in other places as well as a fight with Atziri in end game with an uber version to boot.
There's also an "army" for both in the Legion end game mechanic but the zone you fight them in is anywhere in maps or the specific legion zone which belongs to neither.

IF Act 3 actually had switched positions with Act 2. I'd view it more favorably for sure and I'd love Act 2 even more.

I know I deserve it for being a console kiddy but t15 breaches are just impossible on ps5. The fps goes from a smooth silky 15fps on the map filled with enemies to a genuinely unplayable PowerPoint once you step into that claw. Worst of all the effects start to glitch out and turn invisible so you literally cannot see projectiles or ground effects.
I genuinely wonder if they're going to reduce enemy density at some point or just kinda let it be and have the slowdown just be another part of the difficulty

I'm starting to "struggle" as Witchunter in the cruel acts. Not actually struggle, but my run through the normal acts has been completely frictionless, literally only ever died when I walked into the respawned Silverfish by accident.
My current build is Voltaic Shards + Shockburst. Clearing the dense mob packs feels FANTASTIC, the sharts are great for mob packs and I have the 10% mob explode nodes.
The problem is that my single target sucks fucking dick. Shockburst are a beast on shocked target, but Voltaic Shards don't apply shock for shit, even with all the Ailment nodes and Overwhelming Presence my boss fights are embarrassing
>80% of the time I'm blasting voltaic trying to apply shock
>20% of the time I'm actually DPS-ing with Shockburst
Do I have any better options than to swap for the bow? The Plasma Bolts aren't available yet, and the electric grenade applies ELECTRICUTE instead.
Can I have any "more aliments" implicits on my gear or jewels? Any uniques for that? Any fun tricks with that dragon helmet and support gem that makes the shock not expire on the burning targets?
Clearing with this build is the most fun I ever had, mobs are chain exploding like crazy, but fighting the Rares and Uniques is straight up miserable.

HC makes the game interesting because you can lose. On softcore it's just a question of how fast you can win, not whether you will eventually win.

That said PoE has always been a terrible game to play in hardcore mode, and the hardcore apes should really just admit that the game they actually want to play is Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.

Let’s say a unique is priced between 30-60 div based on its rolls (there are plenty of high variance uniques this time around that’s useable).
You buy the low rolled cheapest for 30 div, hit it with a few divs for above average roll, list it for 40-50 and pocket the profit, repeat.

Divs are expensive and useful because this is possible.

A skill based game is supposed to facilitate the learning, the sols games that obviously inspired POE2 evolved from punishing the player with humiliating runback to putting the checkpoint right outside of the boss arena, and POE2 instead went back in evolution towards Demon Souls, except DS wasn't actually difficult so avoiding the punishments was just a matter of paying attention.

It makes perfect sense. Even if the initial players don't have knowledge of it (and if it's worth a lot then they'll do at least some research) there will be people who want to profit off divining low priced items and that will naturally cull the low rolled market and raise the base price.
In poe1 it used to be a lower tier currency. Above chaos but much lower than ex because ex, despite having the same drop rate as divines, were actually used for something. The only reason we price things by divs in poe1 now is they changed some things on the crafting bench.

Game is fucked. Same issue with PoE one where far too much is done server-side and the game can not keep up with it so your side is constantly in a mix of struggling and catching up. Hence why often your game is running very slowly but then when the action is finished, it all speeds up to catch up. GGG are impressively bad at learning.

Just beat act 2.
Physical blood mage is fun so far, debating on taking infinite curses or physical life leech on spells. Being able to fire and forget the -armor curse would be very nice qol.
Currently running bonestorm as my main spell with 60+% cast speed and using corpse explosion for clearing groups of tiny enemies. Speccing into cast speed, crit chance/damage and energy shield.

Random white mob in high tier maps can one shot you and can be harder to kill than pinnacle boss.

Is it just me, or are some builds currently dealing excessive damage? I'm concerned about the ability to eliminate pinnacle bosses and other endgame content in mere seconds. I believe GGG has significantly misbalanced the endgame, and some builds have become overpowered.
