I was thinking what if you make a MoM version with Hexer's Robe and just outscale the degen with mana instead?
The goal is to get life equal or lower than 10% of your mana
>MoM, all dmg taken from mana before life
>Black Doubt: 10% of mana regenerated as life per second

So the goal is to reach 1000 stacks (which would take 16 minutes to reach) = 500% of life / second degen before maybe switching off
So we want 5x our life to be equal or less than 10% of our mana
So 1000 life means you'd want 50000 mana

What is a rough estimate amount of mana to stack in the game currently if you go all in (considering we get everything from the form + robe) bypassing everything for mana?
Int Stacking and every mana node on the tree? 10k mana? 15k maybe with high gear?

For Chronomancer, I went Apex/Rewind for my first two sets of ascendancy. But for the third, I'm conflicted. Do I go:
>time stop + cast speed
>time stop + half recoup line
>cast speed + half recoup
>full recoup
Leaning towards time stop + half recoup, any other chronomancers doing something similar? Is the second recoup node actually worth it? 4 vs 8 seconds seems pretty strong but I'm worried recoup isn't useful enough

Flicker Strike is a pain to keep up (no charges gain during flicker means you have to be clever and dedicate a whole lot of ressources to use automated delayed charge generator)
Also it does 0 damage

Meanwhile, Ice Strike flicker all over the place for free and explode everything.

the biggest issue with poe 2 is that there's no crafting bench

Some people made videos to 'abuse' respawning at checkpoints and farming the same rare over and over again in little time, that should work in the hunting grounds with the druid ritual guy for example? Not 100% sure though. It's stupid but decent results.

How is their balancing still so fucking bad and backwards after over a decade of PoE 1? Its pretty obvious a lot of their skill balance comes from a top-down (i.e. complete build) perspective and thats such a retarded way to balance holy fuck. Leveling an arcmage spark sorc you can fucking tell they gutted the shit out of lightning skills BECAUSE archmage exists instead of letting them be viable on their own and then adding a weaker archmage to the game.

You should be picking up blue 2h maces and trans/aug white 2h maces looking for %phy roll.

That's all you need.

Agreed. I'm lvl 71 Stormweaver trying into archmage mom si and even got gaze amulet. Still only have 2900 mana, 2900 energy shield and mark spark dps shows like 9k only.
Literally have no idea how to improve from that, it's impossible. Will have to waste hours on trading, trying to get the best items for relatively low price.

Perfect Strike is your main tool against bosses, learn the windows to use it (I often even tank regular attacks from bosses to sneak another PS in instead of chipping away with auto attacking).
Other than that, weapon stats is a huge one. Buy a better weapon, buff it with exalts/rune sockets/whetstones.

Around 75 points gets you 14 jewel slots. Top rolls on jewels are at least 25% stronger than small passive nodes on tree (12% fire dmg on tree vs 15% top roll on jewel) or even 33% stronger in some cases (3% cast speed on tree vs 4% top roll on jewel). Jewels roll with 4 mods or even 5 if you get a lucky corruption (either additional prefix/suffix or implicit which can grant resistance for example otherwise almost impossible to get from passive tree).

Since you need a lot of attributes anyway those travel nodes are not wasted and still if you want some interesting or must have notables for your build you are left with around 45 passives and an annoit to grab them.

Of course getting 14 perfect jewels will not be that easy but I'm afraid there is not enough strong or unique notables in current version of the tree so it seems like this is the end goal of every character currently. Jewels probably will receive at least 30% nerf in my opinion since I don't think GGG will overhaul whole tree soon. Thoughts?

It's whatever one is closest to you current level.

The gear vendor in town will have the latest Item base for you current level range for reference.

It's a big weird atm because they duplicated the Act 1-3 item bases for Cruel instead of adding the Act 4-6 Bases.
So you will be using an start of the game Wooden Mace when you reach Act 1 Cruel, but its better than your Act 3 Stone Mace.

Check vends every level for better gear. Carry a stack of transmutes and augments with you and use them right away on any good base you pick up. Regal if two good mods. Exalt if 3 good mods. Fill out rest of resistances with runes. Get socketing currency by salvaging gear with sockets.
It's really easy if you use everything the game gives you and don't expect to zoom through ignoring everything and expecting to have good gear doing that.

I just hate how there's nothing to warrior except stampede armor explosions now. Once one person discovered that tech, it spread like wildfire, and even alkaizer copied it. It's really lame. This game is so freaking cookie cutter it's a bit depressing. There is ZERO reason to use anything else for clear. And then you just use sunder / hotg to one shot rares/bosses.
That's it. That's literally every fucking warrior build. Both titan and warbringer. No point to play anything else. You got shout warbringer and totem warbringer but they're much weaker.

assuming the following

No. This makes ZERO sense both thematically and based on poe 1 archetypes. Slayer is the defacto cyclone class and all the channeling nodes poe 1 used to have were in the duelist tree. I think they since removed this for some reason. Slayer is a duelist. Duelist / swords will be the default cyclone class.

There is no constant tension when you play Elden Ring. You don't lost access to the DLC when you die in it. You don't have to run away and kite every trash mob. In fact you can skip them all with your mount. And when you do fight them it's not that difficult to kill them. They don't have bullshit archnemesis modifiers and 300% haste. They don't eat your mana flasks.
You can also beat the game with any weapon and customize it freely.

How does this Weapon Set passives work? I thought that I could place passives on one weapon, then change over to the other weapon, and have the passives there be different.

Thematically, Cyclone is just Whirlwind from Diablo. Which was a Barbarian skill and Marauder is closer to that archetype than Duelist is and in PoE1 the Marauder does get offered it through quests. The wild barbarian spin attack is a staple in fantasy in general. Plus, Cyclone Marauder is not exactly a crazy build in PoE1. Slayer isn't like to in the game. Technically Duelist isn't at all.

Quin, mathil, grapplr, woolie are my go to streamers for poe. Even dm and kingkongor aren't bad. I did magefist for poe 1 to see flicker, but it looks like he have up on it being any good in poe 2 already. Steel is actually good but his close relationship with zizfag turns me off from him. Quin and is for the clown show and entertainment. Mathil because he's so based and chill and doesn't do any fake shit just to earn money like zizfag. Plus he comes up with so many unique builds and they all blow up everything on a budget, making all the shitter complainers real quiet.
Plenty of poe streamers man. I recommend looking at the 200 viewer ones. I found several good ones there over the years.

you have to rush through the world map in a straight line with unjuiced t1 waystones (lower pack size = faster to get the rare monster map indicator) to find them and even then it takes tens of hours to get a single set
btw you will get oneshot by the gotcha mechanic of the pinnacle boss if you dont know what he does so either watch a video of someone else doing the boss or get ready to farm a second attempt because the portal closes when you die :)

Do you transmute augment every staff that drops in hopes for a better phys mod? Do you check the vendor every level up to see if he sells one? Much cheaper than gambling. Still, keep gambling, but you need to do all of these things. Keep a 10-20k gold buffer on you during campaign so you have gold for the regular item vendor if something good pops up.

i just wish that the time it takes to do a room was consistent. there is that one ritual room with a single gate + rare mob in the center where you walk in, oneshot the two ritual casters and youre done with the room 10 seconds after you entered it. meanwhile those gauntlet rooms take fucking forever to do even if you dodgeroll against the rotation of flame traps for maximum speed. im pretty sure some of those gauntlet maps have a longer time spent on pulling levers than that entire ritual room, its retarded
also its stupid that enemies are afk until you walk into their aggro range but then continue to shoot you from across the screen when you leave it. it can produce this really fucked map state where you are getting bombarded by 10 mobs so you get deleted if you ever stop moving

The streamer client / seed is definitely a thing. I craft on every weapon base that drops and check the vendors every level and I NEVER land % phys / flat phys during the entire fucking campaign.
Meanwhile, every streamer I watch gets % phys / flat phys / attack speed / melee levels or % spell damage / % lightning damage / lightning levels every fucking regal and exalt. They aren't doing anything different than I am. It's really such bullshit. It NEVER fails for them.

Does Blasphemy work with multiple curses? It says it does and it takes the extra spirit if you slot in more but when you move near a nob it only shows the furthest most curse gem you have put in the skill passive slots.

poe1 maps felt like they had their own identity, trade offs (prioritizing mob density vs comfy layouts), different purposes (cards),bosses. Clearing every single one of them gave you a small sense of nice constant linear progression.

Meanwhile poe2 maps give off a side mechanic vibe like delve. Its like going from world full of hand crafted locations to ai generated slop

We already know they have code to single out specific accounts on demand for streamer queue. It's not hard to add in code to the drop or mod pool stuff saying if player id is in this list, do this.
It would not surprise me if they have an internal tool where they look up a player account and then can add various flags to it like next exalt will do this. Community managers probably sit in various chats and change it based on what they streamer is doing to get the viewers wanting to go gamble thinking it can happen to them.
Never forget GGG twitch account was in rax's twitch chat when he got duplicated... Mirror or headhunter or mageblood drops, I forgot which.

Cold or lightning spells for my bloodmage been playing with detonate dead and while It's decent killing bosses with bone storm is really annoying so thinking of switching things up. Tried the mercenary vine build on SSF.
I wasn't expecting to come online anytime soon and was fine with being a little weak. But I didn't expect to be more or less hard stuck at the giant boss in Act 2 lmao.
This build is based around having a great quiver and eventually the unique bow seen in the build linked below. But I never actually found a good quiver at all.
Since I'm on SSF I can't really respec. I was thinking that I could just farm some late Act 1 zones for some time but it might not be worth it?

It's not that Staves are actually to tier melee weapons. They have wand tier attack speed and crit. The problem is that maintaining power charges is a pain outside of setups like cast on freeze profane ritual or fucking hateforge of all things. Also it has an unskippable like 2 seconds startup time.

An artist's intended experience is no more or less valid than someone's actual experience. I've written things intended to be unsettling and horrific but I know people have experienced it as beautiful and others as sombre. The intent of the work is unimportant in the face of actual experiences and if they would've enjoyed it less shackled to my intent then the work itself loses value if that would've been the case. Art that is meant to be experienced is about creating experiences. Experiences are, by definition, entirely subjective and personal so the value of the experience is only in the hands of the experiencer. Meaning what they gain the most from is what has the most value. Intent is therefor unimportant when trying to dictate what is and isn't a valid experience.

PoE 2 also has softcore and if softcore wasn't the intent they could remove it. It didn't get there by magic. It only remains because it is the intent that it can be used. If intent is actually important then people in softcore are actually experiencing it as intended.
