If you're using weapon swap you need to assign it to both weapons.
You can have a completely individual aura setup per wep.

The bellwether of GGG’s commitment to PoE1 is whether they update the console client to be on par with PoE2.

Currently, PoE2 on PS5 is really good and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything aside from some FPS here and there (and, inexplicably, the ability to create SSF characters) and the stash tabs I purchased on PC.

PoE1 on console is an unplayable embarrassment that they would not want new players coming from PoE2 to even look at.

If they don’t remake console PoE1 by the time the next league drops, I’m calling end of development within two years.

the degree of the content difficulty always exposes the width of gap between average build power and OP build power
easy content makes any build feel strong
difficult content kills any build outside OP ones
thats the situation with PoE2 right now where each class has just 1-2 viable builds and the rest can barely beat the campaign

If you have multiple streams open it disables progress, open other streams in a private window if you need to.

softcore needs to be deleted. it unironically killed the game even in poe1, without the threat of death everyone sees all content as a possibility for their build, and failure to complete the content is a failure of the build. drives the game toward metas of ultra-powerful builds as the expectation, and anything less feels awful. It doesn't feel bad to not be able to do endgame bosses in hardcore, you feel so much anxiety toward losing your character that if you're unsure of it you're happy to just avoid it. It makes high level optional challenges feel high level and optional again instead of the bare minimum standard for a build. catering to softcore was a mistake

For me it was when I did the napkin math in my head and realized that no matter what damage nodes I took on the tree, it all ended up giving the same or less than just stacking regular damage nodes and some attack speed. Crit? Poison? Extra damage as x? Weaker than just grabbing the attack damage nodes.

a lot of the pain of the campaign with mediocre builds would be remedied heavily if they just put the fucking crafting bench back in. yeah i can rng a good chest, but being able to atleast select one good stat on each piece is a godsend so you can actually get to the meat of the game and participate in the loot treadmill of the new RNG focus.

I think the reason gaymers get driven towards metas of ultra-powerful build is because GGG just nerfs everything into the ground but leaves certain mechanics the fuck alone for some reason.

I'm not too experienced with poe or diablo, so this might be a stupid opinion, but I don't like how elemental focused so many of the skills are. It makes sense to me for magic classes, but it seems like every class is split into two or three element choices build-wise.
Maybe I'm not familiar enough with the skill system, but it feels really restrictive and limiting to build creativity.

My frag rounds build is finally feeling like its in a good place in act 2 cruel. The detonation+ the witch hunter ascendency for death explosions makes the clear feel fantastic. As for the Instagib - gibs was a doom corpse mechanic. Killing a mob with too much damage destroyed the corpse and prevented it from being revived.
The modern games just don't have these mechanics.

Same with telefrags, there are no telefrags in the games.

Do you get Arsonist at that level? Give it Scattershot and the other gem that boosts attack speed. Make sure your flamewall is between the enemies since it actually deals damage when they throw their projectiles past it. Use Ragin Spirit in the flamewall, I like using the gems that lowers their HP every second and the one that makes them pop at low health.
While I haven't gotten far in maps I can tell you that it absolutely shreds the campaign.

If you are asking about rares I got a scuffed guide:
Base rings with resistances, good life roll (100+), 60 Resistance and 30 of any attributes is worth, if it has only 30 resistance but a good roll of chaos resistance together its probably worth a lot

Amulet spirit base with spirit and okay rolls (HP and resistance) is already 50 exalted, if it has great rolls it goes insane

Melee weapons if they have 650+ DPS they are insane, but if they have lower DPS but have elmental damage with attacks (100+ roll) or levels of melee skills (4+) they are worth even more even with lower DPS

Caster you need to understand about all the popular builds.

Body armour its good either 3 of those points:
>great defences
>great resistances
>spirit roll
>great life roll
>if its armor base it has great regen

Helmet/Gloves are similar but add to the points:
>Offensive affixes (crit, skill level, attack speed)

For boots all the price is based in the movement speed, if it has 25%+ and it hits 2 of the points said early it will be worth something, if it has 25+ and 3 you hit insanely big.

Quiver is a pain in the ass, Bows is basically PDPS too.

It does actually.
There's a unique amulet where it damages you when you hit an enemy, partner that with the node to apply the effect to your minion then your SRS minions die immediately when you summon them on top of enemies.

And if you're not using that amulet then there's also the combo of Infernal Legion and Minion Instability. It's much slower since you have to wait 3 seconds before they die.

They get unsummoned when their timer runs out, but they can still die and proc the CoMD. Enemies with AoE can hit your SRS and they still die.
Arsonists can blow them up and they die.
Minion Instability + Infernal Legion so they die.

The current gem system allows you to pick and chose any skill and effortlessly overhaul your build, there is no more

I had the voice overs for sin playing over his spooky mist voice overs since he died as the mist started. I guess they apply the damage modifiers to hit but don't do anything about ignore, so if you ignite him at half hp it just keeps ticking at the same rate.

10 poison dps / 40 poison damage over 4 seconds

"All damage contributes to poison magnitude" = all forms of hit damage now add to the base poison dmg proc
Only skills that specify poison chance have an inherent chance to poison unlike ignite

Magnitude == dot multi in poe1
Its the single most important dmg stat for dot builds, besides chance ofc

No, this is solely due to the existence of trade. As drop rates are balanced around trade, you must pull the slot machine lever as many times as possible, as efficiently as possible, if you hope to compete against inflation as you will not realistically get the exact items you want by yourself.
PoE 2 would be the best ARPG ever for all time if there was just a separate game mode with boosted drop rates.

There's a lot to improve on the system but the foundation is much better than the old one. What bothers me the most is the design approach they have taken for skills and supports. They feel a lot more hard locked than they were in PoE2. Like they're intentionally being careful when designing stuff to hopefully avoid it being broken. Arsonists deal fire dmg and can use scattershot support to overlap grenade explosions for 2x dmg
Srs is the only minion you reasonable use now due to pathing issues with other melee minions (reavers and brutes would be good if it wasnt for this)
So you always go srs, so that means you're locked into fire
You run flammability and fire exposure for -60-70% resistances
You get arsonists as the logical filler choice

It's because you have to click on monster for them to attack the monster
As far as i understand, it works that way
>click on ground to move minions, until every minion is moved they are stuck on this command and ignore enemies
>click on enemy to attack enemy
Minions still do have size, so i assume each one has pathfinding like A* applied without letting them phase through each other, so it can cause problems on limited terrain and high minion count

No, the campaign's biggest issue is the map size and by extension the pacing of the act structure. If they're actually going to do 10 acts again and keep the current map size and act cadence that will actually kill this game. Instead of tossing out the campaign, they should redesign problem maps (Dreadnought and Matlan Waterways are the biggest outliers so far) and reduce all map sizes by at least 25%.

My friend just made his 3rd character and leveled it within 15 to 20 hours
My second character was also like 25 hours, and i played warrior so it was slog at some moments
It's much faster once you know dungeon layouts, they still follow patterns

Went for Raiden archmage sorc because mana is cool.
Finished campaign, got to maps, and got few big problems.
I have 1.5k mana, active archamage and decided to roll with sparks. I dont one shot anyone on maps. Even fucking white mobs. I die a lot (probably because i have 0 phys reduction/evasion, all i have is 1k hp 1.5k es and thats it. My most popular way to die is: get swarmed by 5 white mobs, one hits me - stagger, second hits me - stagger, etc until i die.

What can i do about it? Should i actually go for hybride evasion + es gear? Ideally i want to convert all base ES into mana with EB later on, and see how far can i push my mana pool.

Chaos isn't elemental damage.
For lightningkeks, that chaos damage base does nothing since lightning arrow etc. converts from physical to lightning.
It's an ok bow for poisonkeks, but again that elem damage affix does little for them.

I don't know what the fuck they were thinking with that area. Cramped, you can't cast projectiles between carts (at least not ground-based ones which is my only sample size), enemies just lock you down and dodge roll does nothing since you can't go through enemies there. No fucking clue how they expected most builds to be able to do that without dying a gorillion times. Like, hardcore players spend time just overleveling the shit out of the area just so they won't die and even then will struggle most of the time to stay alive.

I'm making a completely different point here but yes it's good, but only if you're taking minion damage nodes. Otherwise it's comparable to other decent spells around the same level. I was working on a hc witch yesterday and it doesn't feel anywhere near as strong with 0 minion nodes, which is to be expected.

I still have no idea what happens at the end of normal acts. I got instantly teleported to the beach after crossing the portal.
I guess they'll release Act 4 and 5 later and remove Cruel mode completely like in poe 1?

Do they leave zoom zoom endgame like in poe 1, or is that just a temporary placeholder? I don't get the point of combo skills and absence of movement skills if all gameplay comes to zoom zoom mapping after acts.
