Bring back the SBMM of MW19. The numbers did indeed show whatever algorithm they had there was working. Too well, some may say, judging by that game's matchmaking errors post-2020.

Did face off xp rates get buffed this time, and directed mode zombies xp rates nerfed?
I finished the mystic gold grind on a gun and it felt like way less xp than last double xp, meanwhile I just finished a stakeout tdm match with only 32 elims and got 10k xp, only challenge I got was a 700xp camp
Last double xp 30 elims was like 6k xp at best

Visually it looks a bit 'cartoony' sorta like TF2, but mechanically they change things every single season. They're not just adding like 1 or 2 new smgs/ARs, they add all new features regularly.
Plus they're adding more permanent modes to the game too, with the latest addition being a first person counter-strike style mode.

The three legal ways are
1) acquiring a friend who is shit at the game and join their games. Partying up makes the game easier anyway.
2) destroying your kd a few matches, the next few become easy.
3) destroying your kd, then take a break for a while. When you come back the games will be easy as it recognized you quit and needs to keep you hooked.

Player Damage already falls off by round 35+. You already get Tac sprinting zombies by 40+. Zombie damage becomes the classic windmill doubleslap around then.

I mostly play Nuketown and this game has become completely unplayable for me. I find myself leaving 4-5 games in a row then just quitting the game. The majority of matches are completely imbalanced with one team getting spawn killed over and over again. BO4 picked up some steam because it was on Battle.net and MW19 is when they implemented cross-play.

Both. Warzone is shitting itself but bringing back everything from 2019 won't help it either. Humans have adapted to that game and they discoverd the metas, the movement techniques, vehicles, etc etc. It's very stale now basically and Omni Movement was one last attempt to bring it back to life but it killed it further because Omni Movement only works in multiplayer, not a giant map with 100+ players.

Warzone 2020 was simply the right place and the right time and that success will never be replicated. The sooner Activision realizes this the better.

-Upgrade your weapons to their maximum levels
-Collect enough money to buy ammo, there's a box in the middle
-Keep a crutch field upgrade with you like Aether Shroud or Frenzied Guard
-Gobble gums that gives you max ammo, insta kill or idle eyes.

I still don't get why there isn't a proper fade or transition when spawning into a zombies match. It's so jarring to see the game instantly start after the loading screen. I know it's because the intro to each map shows how the characters get to the starting room but it still looks bad. They could have easily added a fade from black effect with the classic zombies stinger playing and it would have been 100 times better.

There is a clear difference, I thought MW3 was quite spastic but BO6 is even faster.
Especially as a kbm player if the enemy players slide I often can't swipe fast enough unless I want to increase my sensitivity but I'm not going to do that.

At one point the TTK was normal (fast) in BFV, then midway through they changed it for no fucking reason to the point it would take a whole mag from some guns to kill other players. That was about when the game started hemorrhaging players.

Vulture aid really seems like the only missing perk that had a reason to be brought back. Field upgrades and augments really cast a wide net into the perk space

You can only use one at a time, and you're not going to get 50K points and 9K salvage any faster carrying a third gun.
Mule kick has had this issue since inception, the perk doesn't just cost the amount to get it, it also costs the amount to upgrade the weapon in the slot. Before cold war, if you lost mule kick you lost the gun. In cold war, you lose mule kick, you still have to pay a ransom to get that third gun back

They should just let weapon damage scale with the zombie health once you reach legendary pap 3. The melee slot bug exposed just how much better the game plays on rounds 40-50 with a stronger bullet weapon

Zombie health has a cap so weapon damage "scaling" with that wouldn't make much sense, it's not infinite scaling.
Personally I would like to see the zombie health scaling change so that fully maxed out guns last longer at their peak potential up until round 50. Right now weapons start dropping off at around the 20's. Would be much more fun if that drop off happened closer to round 40 instead imo.

It's diminishing returns, you're paying for a third weapon, but your damage output does not scale linearly per weapon.
I could imagine some specific situations where it might come into play, like having the ASG + Cigma + Ray Gun for the patient 13 fight, however again, it's a question of benefit vs cost.

Keep in mind this was before the patch that nerfed mangler spawns so that info is out of date. But I don't think they've made any changes to zombie health scaling yet so anything regarding that is still fine.
Also here's what would happen if double tap was added back in. Chart shows this hypothetical situation where the player bought double tap at round 40. Wow, your kills per second went up from ~1 to ~2 once health cap was reached. Amazing!

From what I've managed to glean from playing and discussion online, health cap is round 55, but zombies also have a cap on how much their health can increase round to round, which to my knowledge is new.

Yeah I doubt Double Tap would be its own perk with the augmentation system in mind. Either Treyarch will make it a must have crutch perk or the upgrades will be useless and not worth the research.

I've been playing the older zombies games for the first time recently, and even though I'm getting bodied I'm having a blast
One thing I've noticed though, I feel like the zombies in BO1 are the most unsettling. There's just something about how they move that sticks out to me. You'll see their shadows slowly poke out from a hallway or doorway and then see them shuffle along. They're also dead silent and it's shocking to turn around and see a column of them filing into the room that was previously empty
Idk if they did anything different with the animations or something but it sticks out
