Never, doesn't have a gun, has the turning radius of a small country and doesn't appeal to mudshitters. Now the MiG-31 could be added as it fixes two of the fundamental issues by having a gun and actually being able to turn, but truth be told it would look out of place in any of the lines. A squadron vehicle or an event vehicle is my bet, if not the only place they could realistically dump it is the Yak-141 protoshit/outlier line.

Why bother with all that shit if they'll just ignore the reports on underperformance on everyone (Flankers, EF, Rafale, etc) while also ignoring overperformance reports on usa? It's clear they just catter to US whales.

I just saw a bug report for the F16 where the guy provided source for the F*ING POLARS (that's the holy grail of docs for turn performance) showing it's overperforming. Developer answer on that report:
"We usually do not adjust turn rate at low speeds due limitations of available estimations for how AoA affects to Cd and engine performance.
Only peak turn rate performance is adjusted and slightly supersonic"

Perhaps it is a sense of someone's great "achievement", the nuke carrier has earned the right to spawn and so must be "respected/honored" for them to drop the nuke, despite getting to and making the drop being still being the final part of the task. They might give it as a physical show since there is little to no way of showing said respect outside of hollow words

That's because the only people who have it are people that played for long enough to know at least the basics. The 105 is a sidegrade from the regular Tiger2. You get like 15mm more pen and maybe better angle performance for like 60% longer reload. Other than that it has a better engine.

I've been watching a whole bunch of MkII Reflector sight tutorials trying to learn how to hit shit in this game. Does the convergence setting affect the sight at all or just the guns? You can't move the range adjustments on the bottom, right?

Requirements for premium vehicles: level 37 and 10 special tasks for rank II vehicles or level 80 and 15 special tasks for rank III.
So you will need to long in every day for the duration of the BP (that is 25 levels) + do 10-15 special tasks (and to get those you will need to do the daily tasks) + you will need to do the vast majority of weekly tasks if you are looking for the lvl 80
The easiest way to do it would be to play a lot of low tier consistently + plus have a variety of rank III lineups to do all the annoying challenges.

Honestly it's better than people in this thread are giving it credit for. People just knee jerk a bit because it's inferior at low altitude base bombing like a plebbitor compared to an F-4. I have a lot of good experience with being able to bypass enemy defenses and getting into position for higher altitude base bombing and then finishing up with orbital striking people with ligmas or diving on someone with my radar gunsight. The guns are good enough to pop pillboxes to siphon up a bit of extra score as the match comes to a close. Ever since the F-14A's got nerfed to 12.7, there really aren't many predators left in your matchmaking bracket that are in the habit of contesting your attempt to bomb from higher altitudes.

The core problem with the tornado is that the bigger threat to you bombing bases isn't the enemy. It's a teammate killing the base first. Even if their low altitude run is suicidal, it only takes one or two teammates to get lucky and live long enough to press spacebar. Once the bases are dead, you're better off ditching your bombs, going for your orbital strike kills, then RTBing and hoping that things quiet down for you to get base kills when they respawn.

What you want to do is climb to ~5km and beeline towards the "right" bases on most maps. Most people aren't going to notice you since most people don't have TWS radars, you don't have a contrail, and people have a bad habit of not looking up. You can put your 1200 (!) chaff on periodic deployment as you go. Most opponents can not lock you while you're chaff spamming at altitude. Planes with look up radars are screwed. MTI radars don't work when looking up. The headon PD radars are mostly on F-4's that are busy base rushing, and if any do shoot at you they're easy to notch. I think the only all aspect PD radars in matchmaking range belong to the fairly uncommon mig-21 bison (M29 on RWR), and the EJ Kai players who might as well be myths.

Any other TT with WW2 vehicles like the tiger 1? Ive never had this much fun in WT before. This vehicle just clicks with me. Its not some sweaty flank wagon, but also responsive enough to not feel like dogshit for me. Angling at medium range (400m+) works very well for me. It also pretty much oneshots everything without having to aim too precisely, and the reload isnt dogshit (IS2).
USA heavies (T34) never felt this good, but I never owned the T29.

It actually doesn't feel that bad. Full uptiers for 7.0 US are pretty rare, you usually get 6.3-7.3 and 6.7-7.7 games, I play my T26E5 in that very lineup without issue.

It's somewhat relevant, but reality is LM just tries to squeeze every penny possible from the tax payer.

As for the screws, there's a thing we call radar resolution. If you were to use the returns from a radar to draw a picture, what can you draw based on the returning signal? Stealth planes are worried about waves on the X-band and near that, but technically an X-band wave can't discern those screws, they're too small. X-band is a 2.5~4 cm wave, it wouldn't be able to pick those screws and put them on the picture as an actual return.

That happens because radar waves only really bounce properly on objects larger than their wave lengths, when an object is smaller, scattering and other phenomena starts occuring instead of reflection. But the fact is scattering is still energy that's potentially going back to the enemy radar, so you don't want those either. This would be a reason to care about the materials on the screws.

Now, on top of that, part of EM waves travel on surfaces they hit, and travelling EM waves scatter when they reach sharp edges or materials with sudden differeces in conductivity. Stealth aircraft use composites on their skin to reduce reflection (metals are the best radar reflectors, while "rubber", "plastics/polymers", etc., are bad) but screws are generally metallic, so you either put some paint on top of it that has the same properties as the skin, or just cover the whole thing with paint to keep the conductivity the same. Of course, if you use some ultra duper magical composite screw, you don't have to care so much about RAM.

There are other phenomena that happen with EM waves that stealth planes care about (creeping waves, etc.), but tldr, the better you flush, the less scattering you'll have.

There is no good way of doing this. It's not impossible, but odds are exrtremely rigged against you. The air one just needs you to leave ARB matches that don't have a cap, but this one doesn't have the enemy present.

yea the close range shot got fucked because its trying to overcorrect before it even gets off the rail so it flip flops and the other one flip flops because it runs out of energy after pulling completely sideways which are both just features of the missile, it doesnt seem to be flip flopping in regular shots

in my experience, people bring fewer planes the higher you go due to the abundance of ships that are basically no-fly-zones that move around
also helps if your ship has a decent AA battery, that way you dont even have to pay attention to planes, the AI will get them before you even knew they were there
