It's such complete unfun nonsense I don't even understand why they make it. It seems to be developed for an incredibly small niche of hyper-autists
99.99% of people who even engage with it, which is already a tiny minority, are doing so by copy pasting a series of coordinates into chat, clicking on an item, then flying to a zone on the other side of the world, clicking on a different item
It's not enjoyable, most of the time it's not even cohesive with the story or lore of a zone or area, requiring people to solve it by translating different versions of the game to compare differences
Can someone please put up a defence for this type of content because I am truly lost at how this sort of stuff keeps getting made
On top of that it's also buggy as shit so it's frustrating even when doing the steps properly.

You can learn the Tailoring profession, I don't know how you'd manage to get the cloth to progress up to 220/300 classic tailoring but to make the pants themselves you could as a Horde character buy Mageweave Cloth in limited supply from the Andra vendor NPC in Silvermoon
I don't know how cloth drops work now since level scaling, but WoWhead seems to insist the cloth you might need would drop from mobs in Zul'farrak which I think is a dungeon you can run? I don't know for sure though, sorry anon

nah, thats a pretty normal reaction. The felcycle puzzle, like most of these similar puzzles, involve interacting with the world and the community. Going to old or rarely visited places, communicating with people and exchanging information then finally getting your prize. M+ and raids are just the same environment over and over and over until your can properly optimize the gameplay.
Focusing on raids as the only viable endgame content back in late Wrath was a colossal mistake on the level of adding flying to the game.

It's actually an incredibly insignificant change when you look at it. Yes, they are making crests scale with keys, but +8 still only gives 12 gilded crests which is what most people run so almost nothing changes in that regard. If you exclusively do +10s you're now getting 16 which is just enough for 1 upgrade a run. Nobody really does above +10 cause it's not worth the hassle.

The trading up being cut in half and the crafted gear discount are the bigger buffs but still nothing crazy due to all the caps on crests.

Blizzard only snaps out of their comatose state when they feel their pockets on fire. You can point at them and tell them their pockets are on fire but they'll just ignore you until the fire gets bad enough it burns them, then suddenly they snap into reality and realize they're burning and damage has already been done. Like nigga we told you 2 months ago you were on fire.

They always feel this need to collect data themselves. People can tell them on day 1 what the issues are, but they'll wait weeks/months to collect the data themselves before even acknowledging it, and then it takes them more weeks/months to actually implement any changes.
They need to be more like Path of Exile 2. You fix your shit within 4 days of release. You don't wait weeks/months to collect data. You just listen to people and fix their shit ASAP. It's not rocket science.

They need a massive overhaul to the game structure and content. We're past the time for it. People keep waiting on all of this happening with a WoW 2 but WoW 2 isn't happening, they have no intention of making a WoW 2. No content, bad story, bad season 1, not enough new stuff new characters are fine I guess.
Extremely questionable dogshit things resources were used on developing such as Awakening The Machine and Theater.
The worst raid boss in the history of the game thus far with Ovi'nax.
Honestly a lot of the transmog that came with the expansion itself was disappointing. Other than the Arathi set recolors, nothing seems worth grinding out. The raid sets are quite meh.

Here are the changes for midnight.

They are giving each class a dodge button at no costs and with no cooldown.

every spell will be able to be cast while moving now.

All tanks get a Raise their defenses type button that uses some type of energy and can break making you take more damage, they also get a Charge their defense button that when raised up makes you immune to boss CC/mechanics . The point of this change is so tanks have something to do rather than AFK.

All spells now have a charging mechanic making it beneficial to specialize on one spell with a release finisher and punishes hybrids for switching over to another spell before they are fully charged. Pure Classes will get less punished for switching spells. Fully charged spells will all have combo mechanics with other spells when fully charged.

Movement will be severely nerfed across the board, when doing old raids there will be movement buffs put inside.

They are adding a Pause Button during raid encounters.

you get useful gear only from bountiful delves
There are 4 bountiful delves every day. Once you complete a bountiful delve, the delve is no longer bountiful
You should do the bountiful delve at a Level 8 to get the best loot.
If you struggle with 8, Level 7 is okay too, it's just one upgrade lower than a level 8 but is on the same upgrade track.
TLDR Do the 4 level 8 bountiful delves a day

ghostlands is technically in outlands about 2 continents away from shadowmoon valley
this is that zone above eastern plaguelands - stratholme that has been coded as quel'thalas since forever
interestngly the "zone" is surrounded by small pockets coded as tirisfal glades or the great sea and the bubble disappears in those while QT stays the same as it was before

Healing class balance is so dumb, especially in this expansion.
Priest? Congrats on taking tons more damage due to the lack of a kick and all the poison damage all the spider stuff puts out. and for herbalist priests, that one herb that puts the minute long poison will lock you out of fishing for that time, because let's take a class with one of the worst open world experiences and make it worse somehow!
Resto druid? Prepare to constantly struggle to keep up with the frequent burst damage. You're still the most mobile healing spec, but you also have major action economy issues, to the point where cat weaving (a major perk to the spec) is often too risky to bother with.
Resto shaman? Congrats, your kit happens to be the bestest at dealing with this season's key affixes. Your biggest downsides are that your cooldowns are kinda long and you gotta work to make your keybindings manageable.

use leap + charge to remove the poison if you get it at a bad time
nuke the add instantly and don't stand in the bad shit

Apparently there is "uninstanced Stratholme" with the bubble visible, and "Stratholme EPL" where you can see yourself on the EPL map and the bubble disappears. That's why you can't see it from the regular zone. So what this means is that whenever we get Midnight they would either have to finish/rework Strat and make it accessible by normal means and also belfcuck palatards thinking we are about to visit a radiant city are in for a rude awakening

Been happening to my tooltip, I had it purposely anchored to the right vertical bar, which worked fine from pre-patch but then one of the gorillion hotfixes from month or so ago fucked it up so I had to put it on a place unachored.

purple orbs drop in corners, they will blast you away, so either run it as something like a demon hunter or dracthyr that can glide back onto the stage, or just try to be fast and run right up next to each orb that drops, it will blast you to the opposite corner but not off the stage if you are right next to it inbetween it and the far corner.

i think death knights advance spell also negates the orbs effect, but they dont have enough charges or duration to mitigate all of them, best bet is a glide class
