Why the fuck is accuracy and missing possible on warrior?
The game is slower, warrior's animations are slow as hell and he needs to expose himself to damage in melee or when locked in animations to deal damage unless you cheese and play ranged warrior
Ranged is so much better on a fundamental level it's insane, attacks come out faster and there's always the inherit advantage to being ranged

Either make warrior more tanky or speed up the animations

Every boss takes like 10min with my chaos witch, also the blood mage ascendancy is a literall draw back when you're fighting them as well. Pack speed is pretty good and watching my diseases eat through things is fun though.

deadeye sisters, what projectile node should i pick for the first two ascendancy points? Specifically the specialization between far shot and point blank. Im playing a xbow explosive shot build. Far shot increases in damage the more monsters walk but does kiting count? Do bosses count as well? They walk a lot each fight. Point blank gives a damage boost instantly but stops once monsters have walked 3m. What do?

Pick the Resolute Technique passive, pretty much mandatory if you're going for slow Warrior attack builds. Crit builds in most games rely on fast attacks so they get more crit procs.

Requires you to full clear and beat the pineapple boss of the Sekema/Ultimatum.
But i think the Trialmaster fight is bugged atm, like the literal terrain geometry to reach the boss is glitched/misaligned and you cant get into the room.

Nothing as fundamental as "can't miss your giant hammer swing on the enemy standing still in melee range" should be mandatory
Missing should only be possible for ranged to balance out the advantage of being ranged, it also makes a lot more sense

They're already talking about patching in the ability to teleport between Checkpoints. Personally would've preferred just upping Move speed for everyone but I guess checkpoint teleports don't fuck up game balance.

Literally one of the dumbest bosses GGG has ever created

I did the first set of hour glasses and then the second set they were in the 4 corners and I couldn't get to the very last one so I lost. I am just so mad right now. This is retarded. Does he do the hour glasses based on health % or time? Do I just need to do a level 75 one instead of a 78?

I dunno. I'm just mad. The 4th ascendancy point is fucking absurd, I do more damage than 95% of other builds and can face tank him and yet it all comes down to hourglass placement RNG.

Its called the WASD controls, how bad are you at aiming with your mouse? Certain abilities like Boneshatter even automatically prioritize and home in on yellow ball targets.

Not that anon, but I DO think it's absolutely crazy to put a boss at the end of a 3-floor roguelike dungeon that requires overcoming ridiculous hurdles and consumes an item to start and make that boss require ANY mechanics that aren't immediately apparent and require several attempts to figure out.

do the auras are still affected by the curse nods for area of effect in the passive tree?
can i socket in another slot a copy of the curse thats already converted into aura, and that copy give it some support gems, does the curse that the aura apply get the effects of the support gems?

in the currency exchange, check the rate of chaos orb-to-exalted
if 10 chaos is 1 ex, 0.5 ex is 5 chaos
if you buy something for 0.5 ex people expect you to pay 5 chaos, or if you pay 1 ex, expect them to add 5 chaos to the trade

the price fluctuates based on the market
you can also try to pay with shards but I think there are no exalted shards

Which is why Accuracy rating is only really a problem for Templar, Marauder/Warrior tree has Resolute Technique where you sacrifice your ability to crit for not having to worry about Accuracy anymore. Duelist meanwhile is Red Green in stats so its much easier to build Accuracy for him. Ranger tree is right next to him.

Where the shader goes to max every 5 seconds which causes a lag
After i restart the game its gone but it comes back every 2 hours or so

Cast on freeze is better aoe, a single cast procs into 1 or 2 comets
Or you can do both and blasphemy on top if you roll near max spirit on chest, and near max spirit on a solar amulet (need 220 amulet can roll 50+15 base and chest 61 so a max of 6 less is acceptable)

I've swapped out my level 14 comet for a level 11 in my cast on freeze and it's better for clearing because ggg in their infinite wisdom decided comet mana cost and damage should increase linearly with each other such that there are no gains in damage per mana spent.

I heard people say some of the bosses are broken or something, I got some Vaal Chimera thing, it did like 2 attacks before it died.

Just don't pick bad options that will brick the run.
I keep seeing people say "Aww man trials of the sekemas is so hard" and then you look at their mods and its shit like

It's kinda funny that the final bosses of each act have been easier and easier. Act 1 boss was the hardest one, this one I didn't even come close to be in danger, many of the act 3 bosses are like twice as difficult than this one.

Warriors are factually the worst performing class by all objective metrics right now. We had a ladder among other things. Anyone who's in maps knows how fucked melee is too and they can't pivot to anything else well with the NW tree dead in this EA phase and crossbows having very poor synergy with them.

Every build doing well in maps deletes the screen with one button and deletes bosses by setting up them getting a payoff. Warrior is gated in how much they can delete by lower range and slower animations. It's impossible to tank much in this EA with limited survivability resources so you're inherently much more vulnerable than other builds because things that can kill them will kill you too

Monk just pretends to be melee but they do most of their damage from 10 miles away

The "Leagues" will be bundled new content additions instead of some brand new mechanic, won't be getting those until after the official release.

Depends about conflicts with the next PoE 1 league, they said Late Feb for that, if they do a new PoE 2 update it will have to be mid/late January to give breathing room between games.
or Early April if they delay it to make room for the PoE 1 league.

I think there will be a buffer of at least 1 month between any PoE 2 or PoE 1 content releases.

If there were swords or axes maybe things would be different. Most mace skills are retarded slow in a game that is already slower paced. The average monk has already attacked 5 times by the time the warrior lands the first slam.

Which would be retarded because if you aren't abusing Monk, building freeze early is nearly impossible. Frost Nova sucks dick at it, as does frost bolt, as does frost bomb. Even with spell echo and increased freeze application it still takes like 3-4 casts to freeze a screen of normals and fucking forget about freezing bosses. It doesn't get viable until you get Frost Wall and then suddenly it spikes like crazy. Frost needs rebalancing on the curve, not a nerf.

I made it playable sort of but it's still inferior to srormweaver, the more spell lvl gear you have(I'm at +6 out of a max of +10) the more your mana and life costs are and the leech doesn't really do a lot at my lvl yet

Does it really make that much of a difference?
The problem isn't even that the class is "weak" the damage is fine it just feels like utter ass to play having to reload all the time with the roll interrupting your reload and it just fucking up occasionally.
It's all just so clunky right now but if getting the reload perks makes a big difference i'll power through I guess.

Not even close you just have to lean into what it does; crit and spawns heal globes. You need to be able to stay in the thick of things and pick up your globes to stay over healed/topped off. First ascendancy is rough because you don't see any real benefit other than free heals (which is good don't get me wrong). I have had decent luck with freezes and spell crit spawning a lot of globes. People say bonestorm is bad but it has a ton of hits meaning a lot of chance to crit. It's only bad if you are being surrounded, so freeze or otherwise keep mobs at range and it's good.

Blood mage only really falls apart when you can't get your globes and you get chunked down to low life.

No, it's definitely true. You can slot it in and out to see for yourself. All sources that boost attack speed make you reload more quickly because otherwise attack speed would be reload gated and be incapable of scaling with a massive amount of damage sources.

It's a little clunky but yes quicker reload makes the QoL much better. There's a support gem that also gives like 60% faster reload but they naturally put it in the final tier because fuck everyone.

Alright, so I tried to somehow rescue my loot, but it turns out that apparently, once you start cruel acts, the time travel portal in normal act 3 somehow just brings you to the beach in normal act 1, even after I've cleared it. Fucking retarded.

Caster infernalist requires some specific setups to work well. You have to maximize your demonform stacks to gain a lot of damage which is only possible if you dunk your HP as low as possible since flat life regen is the only thing you can stack. And then get a ton of ES. At 50+ demon stacks you can start doing good dmg. I'm playing it now as flameblast and its fine to me, but for bosses I feel like I need to enter demonform and wait 10 seconds before triggering the boss to give myself ramp

Reload speed sources tend to be much higher than attack speed sources. You get like, 15% reload on a small node and 3% for attack speed, so attack speed would have to be treated like 5x the value for example.

Some crossbow skills scale better with one or the other in any case so you need to be planning with that knowledge.

At the very least there needs to be a phase gem that lets you dodge through enemies. The game relies too much on being surrounded by trash as other things happen and it never once feels good to be forcibly pushed by an enemy move/lunge as you're mid animation.

YOU ARE BAD

now that that's out of the way let me explain

you should be stacking the fuck out of increased chaos damage and increased spell damage. Monk has the best access to chaos on the tree (82 points to path from monk start to every single non-minion chaos node). This means chayula monk is easier to scale than witch, especially with a braindead extra defensive layer. The spirit gems you care about as chaos damage (Ghost dance, Withering presence) are inconsequential losses for chayula monk, as darkness gates damage (I.e. you get hit with a oneshot slam. your darkness vanishes, but ES and HP arw unaffected) and you pick up a passive tree node that withers enemies. It's fine to not respec chayula monk if you understand your damage and don't suck at combat. TAKE A WAND WITH +3 CHAOS GEM LEVELS.

Your damage is simple:
Essence drain into a crowd. Contagion the enemy that is hit. Cast Despair curse into the crowd. If it is not dead, cast Dark Effigy (put the support that applies wither on dark effigy NOW, the base damage doesn't matter). If it is not dead, Hexblast, reapply your curse, and spam Chaos Bolt from a wand (or essence drain if you're retarded and didn't bring a withering wand).

This clears the entire game unless your dumb ass can't evade or fix resistances. For bosses, put hourglass on Hexblast, and blow it up instantly by cursing adds then hexblasting them as a group with the boss (9x hexblast). If the boss has no adds, drop dark effigy and make sure essence drain and despair are always applied. You should evade when you must and chaos bolt as often as you are allowed - I ran chaos bolt with Envenom and Unleash, since poison counts as chaos damage over time and scales with chaos%.

If you can't do all of acts and up to t7 maps with this info you don't understand some basic shit like defences. Just roll a deadeye or go gas grenade merc.

Yeah this is really retarded. I set a 50ms macro on my shoot trigger which seems to fix it
I would also love an endgame support gem that lets a crossbow skill dump all its ammo at once at greatly increased reload speed cost

If you want to play hit damage and fuck with crit, go ahead. The mana costs are prohibitive and you can't make it up on the tree and fully scale chaos while having any defences. Just play something else if you don't want to do DoT, Hexblast isn't a mine and curses all have activation delay. I described chayula monk, which has 0 spirit, so autocasts are literally not an option.

I honestly don't think mercenary needs that much. Reload should continue during dodge roll to reduce the downtime of the class and skill gems need to be redistribute. The weaker skills need numbers tuning too but that's true of every class so we can just forget about that for now.

Mercenary is weak as fuck during normal acts but explosive nades is very strong once you reach cruel. Reload doesn't feel too bad aside from the dodge roll messing up your tempo once you have either speed on it, or your build is no longer gated heavily by it. Problem early on is that while other classes get their combos early, armour piercing/high velocity is fucking garbage for clearing while gas combo isn't available until tier 3 and is way too slow to go through zones comfortably. Your best skill for quite some time is the fragmentation bolts you start out with that're subject to the general issues of the mechanics.

Keeping a good weapon up during normal acts is much less realistic than it is during cruel since you have to upgrade like, 3 times, crafting and loot is much less reliable than in PoE1 even after the buffs, and the market place hardly has as many good options in that range. Even if you manage that, you're still much less likely to have the nodes you need to smoot hthings out. Maybe you hit all your reload nodes, but you won't have that and your AoE nodes or all that and your chain nodes.

Starting in cruel you can buy a crossbow with projectile mods once or twice and call it a day since you aren't zooming through levels anymore but the first 3 acts are probably like 9 hours for most people starting.

Anyone have a high level witch that can clarify or test something? They have a support skill called Blasphemy which lets you socket curses into it to make them into auras. Game tells me I have 51% armor but I have no clue if it actually helps all that much because apparently armor only works against physical damage
Thing is I need high strength and thus cant do much evasion due to using herald of ash with my grenade build

Are you still supposed to be stacking armour as a sorc, or is your only defense gonna be life/es? Stat requirements are all kinds of fucked up it seems, and getting str or dex is a pain, and without auras it's hard to get defenses up.

Armor reduces dmg by a flat amount, not a % from what I remember. Tooltip is lying. Armor is bad against high dmg hits. Armor doesn't really do much unless you're able to stack a fucktonne of it.

Why would they nerf warrior? Warrior is probably only good if you go a very very very specific build. I find warrior to be fun but its no where on the level of weird meta gem fuckery that casters have been abusing.

Stuff like this. I might spec more into ignite for bigger fuck you burst. Current I boneshatter heavy stun which completely breaks enemy armor. Then I use shout with consumes my rage and boosts the next 2 slam skills damage massively.
For mobbing I just bunny hop around with 2 on-death fire explosions chainkilling anything thats close to the initial kill. Its fun. When I get more slots I might put more AOE on leap so its easier to clear big packs.

Have +x to Minion skill gems on your sceptre, helmet and shield. But it's really the Gas Arrow explosions from bow Skellies that do the most damage in acts though

This is what I disliked about warrior when leveling. The game feels like shit when your weapon is dog shit. However, once I got a good weapon, my enjoyment sky rocketed. Not sure if other classes get this same feeling. It seems like summoners don't have to fuck around with any weapons if they don't want to.

You should use some of that money to hire a guy who can read what the MTX page says to you.
It's funny though, how much grief GGG is getting over them letting you carry your stuff over into PoE2. They would have saved so much effort and money if they just did the normal thing of having people rebuy everything while getting less complaints.

Why is it that in games like this, the dichotomy of ranged vs melee is usually a difficult one? It seems like you are exposed to so much aids shit if you are melee. I played the campaign as melee and I found it to be workeable but some were super annoying. Particularly the chimera flying away in ultimatum. What do you guys think? It really seems like ranged players have their feet up and relaxing with an ice cold lemonade.

Sounds like a little thing but its just a general game design style in itself that is anti gameplay, when devs are thinking this is good it means they have fundemental issues with their game design philosophy. I dont trust D4 devs to make a good game.
