>>505520278would you play a real classic +?
not a seasonal thing but a dedicated branch of the game that diverged.
what would you want in it? close to bone-stock wow but with new content? or new fruity changes like lock tanks?
i don't know if i'd want to be locked in with the SOD changes. it's fun but it's also too "out there" imo. but then again, there are a lot of design decisions in classic that i just don't like. it sucks having to go get reagents to be able to cast vanish as a rogue, or just not being able to taunt as a paladin.
i don't think there's an answer that satisfies everyone, and dividing the playerbase into era, and seasonal, and hardcore, and >expansion... sucks.
i would like to try a version of classic where they really try some off-the-wall shit. it would be so expensive that it wouldn't exist, but imagining some parallel universe's version of wow classic. different classes, different zones, different professions. that's not a real thing that could exist but i love the idea.
in reality i'd probably be okay with a wow classic where each class/spec is fundamentally "viable". feral without having to farm pummelers, etc. then from this, new content. new dungeons, new raids. arenas. i want more world events. things like AQ opening or the wrath launch event. new one-off things that happen in the world.
