>>505299763Basically first hit is 1 sec pushback, then 0.8, then 0.6, then 0.2. Brokentooth will trigger the second pushback sooner, leaving less time between pushbacks. So basically, compared to a 1.2 or 1.4 speed, the cast ends up being 0.2/0.4 seconds faster per pushback interval.
Over the entire course of a cast until pushback hits 0, a 1.2 speed pet will give an extra 0.8 second overall cast time compared to brokentooth. 1.4 speed even greater difference, but then the timing of when the pushback starts in the cast time becomes more of a consideration.
Basically, anyone farming brokentooth is just an idiot. The only "benefit" is showing other hunters you wasted more of your time and beat out other hunters to get the tame.
