The random ping spikes despite having stable/good internet and a decent pc has happened just before Vanguard rolled over and keeps happening after it's implementation.
Not sure what exactly is causing it but like this guy said here >>505146216 sometimes the game doesn't even load or blatantly crashes and loses you the game/ends up in a remake with lots of reports and getting a leaver penalty.
For me sometimes the game jitters like insane and lately takes ages to load, this is usually sometimes because someone wasn't able to load the game themselves so the loading screen is like 5 minutes or something stupid for a remake time to time.
Same time those Chinese igns popped up but instead of Chinese igns I see some insanely bot-like behaviour from some players thesedays, hard to know if they're actually new players or not unless they post a message in chat (but if they're that big of a noob they were probably talking to a party chat or said "retarded" and got system muted).

Black Widow is Widowmaker except she just has a random melee ability and passive for some reason despite having no way to actually properly engage with it. its clear that the "we need a Widowmaker alt" was the first thought and then "oh wait, doesnt black widow use a lot of CQC and batons?" was the second creating a half-cooked slightly cold in the middle microwave burrito ass character.

this is a recurring theme for a majority of the roster. instead of leaning fully into doing their OWN thing of making really flavorful and fulfilling hero kits they tried to have their cake and eat it too.

on one hand you can view this as playing it safe since the OW meta/hero pool is a known-"known" and you understand for the most part how everything will interact.

on the other hand thats a lot of lost potential for something that maybe could have been bigger due presenting a much more unique experience (here's a hero shooter but you actually FEEL like literal heroes and its pure chaos).

but eh. its F2P and the Battlepass is 5 bucks literally so... its a welcome break between Hyperroll and ARAM slaving I guess.

each character has 3 abilities. dunno what your binds are but usually its just a shift button, E button and ultimate on Q. You land your q and use it's slow to walk up and aa further. You can also w your minions if they're infront of you to close the gap then aa and q to slow further.
A good Braum play is only as good as their adc unironically which is why you don't see him being played much anymore despite the reliable cc train he can pull. You can try to ask your adc to clear the wave to atleast provide a good angle to engage on.
Engaging as him is also very reliant on the enemy mispositioning so this may literally never happen if they're good or clear faster than you so you will have to tank like 2 waves of minions instead of the usual 1.

None of Duskblade's iterations should return, they were all busted, just like Crown was for mages. Everfrost, Prowler's, Goredrinker and old Luden's imo were the biggest losses. Goredrinker being gone and Stridebreaker being turned into a niche item option for chase-downs ruined bruiser itemization which also ruined assassin itemization by extension.

that being said, a year ago people were complaining about how the game was moreso about the items you built than the champions you were playing, hence the overall item nerfs. this is a backpedal. sundered sky is pretty much DS but better balanced as well imo

i do agree that itemization feels really situational now but as i said in a prior convo a few weeks ago if you're the same person i had the convo with i think going back to mythic items is a step back rather than a step forward. they just have to work on adding more item options.

i feel like the big problem here is the fine line they're treading between champion and item uniqueness. otherwise simple champions like veigar, annie or vex really stood to benefit from things like everfrost because it gave them more depth and identity but when you consider that the other half of the champion roster is stuff like hwei and aurora then adding too many items like everfrost or whatever, with actual item identity and purpose beyond being a stat stick, then, well, it's the straw that breaks the camel's back and champions like hwei and co. become overloaded. it's just a messy situation in general

Used to be an adc items which then moved on to champs like Viego, Yone/Yasuo and Irelia much like how they used to abuse Galeforce too back in the day if they weren't going on the old Shieldbow. Perhaps they should consider individual champ nerfs on itemization but I wouldn't trust Riot to be that competent despite calling for strict gameplay all the time and what they did to Aram with the whole balancing thing. I do hope the new items coming out with S15 are creative - that's probably the one issue with itemization I can isolate right now - all of the items released this season or reworked and basically made anew feel like they're SPECIFICALLY targeted towards a certain crowd rather than just being freeform options. There's only seven, actually. One of them was removed in S12 - Ravenous Hunter - the other 7 were from this season, though. I'll give you a few hints;

1) a Keystone rune (one of the big ones) that Galio, Hecarim & Skarner would take;
2) taken by everyone, replaced by Triple Tonic. Notorious for being very troublesome - much more popular in high elo.
3) replaced by Absorb Life, a pretty useless rune. It was useless even before it was changed, though - a Precision tree rune that shares the "healing" idea with Absorb Life.
4) replaced by Cash Back! Inspiration tree rune, very popular with junglers specifically. Shares the "cash" trait with Cash Back, too!
5) one of the 'Hunter' runes - Treasure, Relentless and Ultimate remain. This one wasn't replaced by any - which CDR rune is missing?
6) One of the three Legend runes, replaced by Legend: Haste which is significantly less useful than its removed counterpart! Should be easy.
7) Taken only by laners - again, this one had no replacement. It was primarily used to help with wave-clearing.

champ team should honestly just be disbanded. Maybe I'm too used to getting things done with negative reinforcement, but in my past I found myself to become highly motivated when I have some asshole screaming in my ear to perform better at some sport or task. The idea that I could call someone a worthless faggot and then DIRECT THEM ON WHAT TO DO is actually cathartic to me. It helps me "channel" my energy.

But when all I can do is just sit there and lose and not be able to explain to a /mute all faggot as to why they need to get off the game permanently is frustrating to no end.

It's fine if the target you want to kill will challenge you. Anything like Yone, Yasuo etc. where you MIGHT burst with a few faster autos before they lifesteal back but won't live long enough to fully stack conq is my guess. Or an ADC that has no dashes somehow. Otherwise I think it's always outclassed.

Tank Swain seems like a genuine problem based on facing and playing it due to him being able to work with a large range of items with the only mana sustain being a tear (not even a lost chapter) and being able to deal decent overall damage while draining enough health, it's just not being picked up as of yet due to him being niche champ and people are too used to the blackfire build and using his kit to burst on cooldown instead of a slow peel and drain. Can't discuss further. Overall I'd also vouch for Morde as an AP top than Gwen or Swain.

Aram is just mindless gaming and you don't have much responsibility except for doing or soaking damage. The game even picks the champ for you so you literally go with the flow (it's gonna be a one sided stop anyways). In normals you are judged for your overall choices in the game and your performance (I could've done x y z better etc). Even worse is ranked because of the number and it's value on the overall grind.

Yes or they unironically get these strange bot players in their games. Ranked so far seems to be the best matchmaking as of yet though I do see some odd ones where smurfing have ruined games (fresh 31 account in diamond games or gold players 1v9ing iron players) and the odd 1 silver, 4 going against 2 emeralds and 1 gold and 2 suspiciously unranked accounts.

Not really, ranked game mode is probably the only mode that is always included in event missions (except for the new Aram one because they had to shove the map in and get people to play on it to say how everyone liked it statistically), they also give you exclusive rewards and such so it's not all that bad. I've played this game for a long time.
Am I good at it? Sort of?
But I've developed a very accurate sense of if the game is worth playing out or not, particularly past a certain point which now is around the 18 min mark.

Do I try to FF every fucking game? No. But the games I DO try to FF is because my intuition is telling me that it would either take a titanic effort on my part (thus robbing me of the 'team experience', I might as well play a single player game) OR, the enemy team is so fucking far ahead that they would have to literally AFK for 10+ mins for us to even catch up.

Those who NEVAHHHH SURANNDEEERRR I think act this way because once or twice in 800 games they actually did come back and now they feel like they're somehow supposed to waste everyone's time.

I would rather have an enjoyable 22 minute loss over a stressful, fucked up, unenjoyable, and ultimate slogfest 48 minute win. The majority of the playerbase also agrees with me on this.

I wish it was that simple. The enemy mid would literally proxy me whenever they got the chance so i was just stuck under turret until they got their ults so they could wombo combo me from whatever health. in an ideal world my mid would at least get their turrets or do literally anything but no. i think it was just one of those games

Yes.
Dont run in solo to 1 vs 1 the enemy Assassin as a Adc.
Theres a downside to dropping 1k+ dmg nukes every second with your attacks and that is being fragile so dont go in without your team in front of you blocking the enmy assassin from 1 shotting you.
Its that simple.
