No idea. I bought chicken because it was just 600 orens. And btw for egg to hatch u need to drop it on top of bed.

By early I meant like level 10 nefia kind of early. I have monster balls, but I have no idea what's good to capture with a level 20 ball. Like what gives good meat or whatever.

U can try go for Bees since they can drop queen bee needed for beehive. The other notable low level monsters are

Luckily everybody belonging to your town respawn after being slain by any source so u could spam slimes for their charisma colagen rich meat.
