smolder doesnt have the presence or impact on teamfights that asol has. He simply doesnt. Stack for stack, asol probably gives more bang for the buck. Smolder is just point click until stack get and then it's mainly just good at single target execution as opposed to asol's screenwide AoE

How do I become not shit mechanically? I feel like my macro is there, but I can't hit skillshots to save my life, and when I fight I always fuck up timing of skills, cancel autos, get confused by the many lights and abilities
I come out of lane as a fed aatrox just to never hit a q for the rest of the game and thus be useless every fight

I think my spacial IQ is way lower than my logic IQ and I don't know how to improve it, also reaction times.

I dont have any real answers for you. For me, I think it's a matter of ergonomics. My desk height, keyboard placement, and chair just dont jive. Also my screen is too big. Competitive games like this handicap a player with a display size above, say, 27". Couple these two together and you've got a suboptimal shitter such as myself. Perhaps this is something you havent givent much thought.

something I learned from fighters is that you can get a clear understanding of optimals through watching better players and then slowly implementing shit consciously after some training mode to get the muscle memory in
lol has a bit of the opposite case when it comes to learning since nobody really uses the practice tool effectively but it helps to set up situations, get the motions, and then when it comes up in real gameplay going for it
also gotta really really want it, there are a lot of things that are really strong to do but lots of players are too lazy to do so they just go for weaker/less rewarding options instead

me not being toxic (its my team fault i get midlaners that go 2/10 to enemy yone) doesn't make me want to give riot any more money. i havent bought a skin since 2013.

maybe i'll see if the situation stabilizes and i dont get banned before new year i'll buy one or two skins. i think if i make it to next season i cant get banned anymore because they're disabling postgame chat next season for low honor players so i'm protected from myself saying bad things to my teammates.

first of all

if you are as autistic as me, you possibly suffer from sensory overload
i unironically had to lower effects and graphics in general + turn down the volume so i wouldn't get distracted
basically if theres too much info on the screen you get confused, you have to make it so theres less you care about in general
you can do this by removing a bunch of VFX but also play with 1 skin only so that you get really used to it (i even get distracted if i use new champ skins lmao)

could be prediction error, could also be peripherial error or discomfort in your gaming equipment
i had to find a DPI+sens combination that didn't fuck my camera movement up and let me hit skillshots at the same time, took me weeks to find the right one though
you can also practice in practice range, just load into the game with max cdr ezreal and spawn a dummy
try to just arcane shift + flash all over the place and hit the skillshots, works well with zeri aswell(highly recommend her)

Wow is truly a nice game, only played vanilla on a private server though and up to wotlk on the 2nd. Never got through the farmville teir daily runs for better armour and gs but it was a good run. Still need to farm gold for one of those rides you can drive your duo across the map either. Should try to fly around Northrend and just explore the map for comfort again. Never did the PvP stuff but the PvE things were super comfy and charming.

My one large complaint is that many abilities do not match their hitbox. It's especially apparent on champions like Pyke and Blitzcrank that can still grab you despite CLEARLY missing.

if you get hit by morg q you were more likely in a terrible position rather than mistakenly didn't move an extra nanometer than you otherwise would have if the effect was slightly different.
spells like sera E are literally the exact hitbox. lux Q has indicators on the ground now showing you how wide it is.

It's very weird how her Q works on minions, damage wise. I used to go luden, and it's good early... but it falls off extremely hard as her ap ratios are pretty awful. Otherwise I would. Kinda ironic when they've been in this recent kink of giving 130/150% ap ratio to most enchanters (karma, milio, alistar...).

Yes. I've had high elo accounts and low elo accounts with a difference of 1000 lp and about the same amount of games played. It's not just me either. Tyler has had an account in challenger and another hardstuck in emerald and low diamond. I've seen several smurf addicts abandon accounts because they'll somehow have a 20% winrate in their match history on one account and an 80% on another in the same elo bracket.

I figured out why my taliyah's Ws were getting cancelled. I thought there was some kind of buffering issue where it didn't cast if you hadn't finished casting E.
Turns out if you press W and right click to move before releasing W it cancels.

Jungle is the only role that keeps getting huge changes for years and years now this usually comes with more responsibilities. PVE is boring.
Jungle isn't even particularly hard anymore, its just most of your game consists of just hitting jungle monsters. In lane you are constantly in a direct battle with your enemy trying to gain a health advantage and go in for the kill. In jungle you just clear your jungle alone and maybe gank, maybe see your enemy jungler once every 5 minutes.

there's so many built in guardrails to keep you in the game and not fall behind, even having your jg taken and shit doesn't put you behind unless all your camps are somehow being permacamped

yeah, we all know that shaco's gameplay is to invade you lvl2 and ig + kill you, so ADAPT!

stop doing the same first clear pathing every game, stop being predictable, start in one of his buffs, try to invade lvl1 just to put a ward and find out where the shaco will start, almost all shacos start lvl1 solo on raptors, leave a ward early on the other side of your jg to see if the shaco will invade you there then you can do a vertical clear pathing invading the other side of him jg, the possibilities are many

you dont need leash if you get leashed your laner will get shoved under tower at level 2 to save you 1 second
ping ward on your other side of the jungle if your teammates dont do it you go and drop it yourself
if you get invaded move up to HIS side of the jungle and clear it
half of your job as the jungler is tracking the enemy jungler the rest is being on the right side of the map and alive for objectives

Alright, let me break it down for you in a way that's easy to understand, like we’re chillin’ and talkin' strategy.

Pushing a wave: Aight, pushing a wave means you’re shovin’ them minions toward the enemy turret, tryin’ to make sure they have to deal with the wave under their tower. It’s like makin’ sure you put pressure on the other team. You wanna push it so hard they can't just chill and farm. But, be careful, 'cause once you push too far, you might leave yourself open for a gank.

Freezing a wave: Now, freezing is when you keep the minion wave right where you want it, usually a little in front of your turret but not too close. You let the minions get close, but you don’t kill ‘em all right away. This is so the enemy has to come closer to you, and they can’t just farm freely. You keep the wave right in your pocket, controlling it like it’s your own personal lane. It’s real smart when you wanna deny the enemy some farm and maybe even get them caught out.

Crashing a wave: Crashing a wave is when you build up a big minion wave and then shove it all at once into the enemy tower. It’s like you wait ‘til you got a nice big wave, and you launch it at ‘em, so they can’t stop it in time. The enemy has to deal with it, and you can take advantage of the chaos, whether it's to roam, get a dragon, or just get them real frustrated trying to last-hit under pressure.

So, to sum it up: pushing is just sendin’ it down the lane fast, freezing is holdin’ it at your turf to mess with the enemy’s farm, and crashing is slamming a big wave into their tower like you’re tryin’ to make ‘em panic. You use all three, depending on how you wanna play the game, ya feel me?
