I did 10 seeds 5 mahogs for the first 3 misc daily pickups and it was kind of extremely underwhelming for seeds, or at least tree seeds. It was decentish for herb seeds but I dont really care about those as I took ff. I'm trying it out on 10 mahog 5 regular trees so it can be a good addition to my cons/firemaking. Also I got this silly bee before getting the dragon pickaxe lol.

Slayer is kind of absurd when you're always on task. Just getting kc tasks and farming seeds I'm at 17m already. A single zuk task is almost 2m slayer xp.

The loot bear is giving me 20,800 slayer exp each kill, which is a nice consolation for being 125 kills in and only missing the voidwaker hilt, ie the only drop i'm here to farm

Zuk is easy in leagues, I got my cape before t8 even and was an absolute menace in the waves, just praying melee and shooting shit until it died, eating karams as necessary. Jads died before he healers got to them, mileage may vary there, but most setups can outdps the healers by a large amount. You can handle changing prayers against 3 jads for a bit.
But thats besides the point, killing tormented demons is over 1m slayer xp per hour and completely braindead. There's probably plenty of things like this out there. Maingame slayer is actually quite a bit better if you suck at the game and dont do boss tasks, besides zuk/jad tasks at least. Here you can just kill basically whatever and be more than fine for slayer.

I finally did it.

Died 3 times trying to do it melee, farmed up a Blowpipe for the Jad Phase and it was cake.

decided to go into jad blind on leagues to learn it having never done it before and I have to say that was one of the dullest pieces of content I've ever done in that game. 25 minutes of actual afk to get 3 seconds to learn the fight and the only actual thing to learn is don't even look at jad just listen

Last league's relics were way more powerful and you got some really good ones early. This time it really feels like they were trying to force "hard choices" and it just makes everything feel shit. Plus they fucked up hard by making the combat masteries imbalanced between styles and also very weak early on when you need power the most.

the passive for the first choice is the most important thing early game and everyone gets the rune save you dont need power to kill a few level 100s and get 55 slayer and kill jad which can be done with t5 anyway but i do think if youre looking at the player count while NA is asleep and EU is still sleeping just waking up and at work youre a fucking stupid oxygen thief

Right from the start it had
>double resources gathered + auto banking
vs
>+12 crafting, smithing, herblore, fletching and cooking
>instant processing of items
>25% chance of making an extra product
vs
>passive agility
>auto succeed agility, hunter, firemaking and thieving
>triple maximum coin pouches
>auto note pickpocketed loot
>box traps give double loot and exp
>can burn 9 logs at once
That's the tier 0 choice. Tier 1 is Fairy Flight vs Globetrotter. Tier 2 is Bank Note vs Fire Sale.
Then you get the combat relics in tier 3, which are pretty much an entire 6-tier mastery selection at once in the early game.
Tier 4 is
>can receive and cancel tasks remotely
>superior slayer spawns are 1/25 and you get points for killing them and they give 6 rolls of loot
>25% chance to spawn a bloodthirsty variant with 9 rolls and its own unique table
vs
>weaker versions of all three tier 0 relics from this league
vs
>clue spam relic, featuring the ability to find clue caskets inside themselves
They're all just way more impactful than the ones you get this league, and those are all obtainable by 4000 points. Pretty much the only relic this league that I like more is Clue Compass and that's guaranteed nerfed next league.

The combat mastery system is WAY better than the "go fuck yourself if you have to do any off-relic combat" that the previous leagues was.
Plus the new system encourages people to actually get off their ass and try out leagues inferno, and at the noobier end of the spectrum, fight caves, or even scurrius.

strangely, even though many relics are just inferior versions of previous relics, i feel stronger than i did in trailblazer reloaded. i do like the decision to split up relics into their component parts. speaking of which, you're ignoring that the tier 1 gathering relics also incorporate the effect of infernal gathering or whatever it was called - likely because it was unpopular previously. i personally like the way they've shuffled around relics' effects. that said, with how wonky the balance is this time, i do not trust jagex to make substantial choices that are also well-balanced. banker's note and recall is probably the best-balanced choice this time, despite probably 75%+ of players picking note. recall is really fucking good depending on your regions and pvm confidence.

i agree that the later tiers, specifically tier 5, are lame. tier 5 is just "which of these things do you hate and want to do as fast / passively as possible", which is a bad design philosophy in my opinion. pocket kingdom is too little too late, overgrown is another "i hate this thing" relic, and grimoire is effectively a "i hate this region" relic. same shit.

Banker's note is literally the most broken relic, it's above S tier.
Taking infinite supplies with you to any encounter and making yourself a bank is absolutely fucking broken
It's crazy how for the second year in a row the relic that banker's note is competing against turned out to be a huge meme

Personally i dont like them much, runescape as always been a game where everyone has equal access to everything, which is why people went apeshit over limited availability cosmetics in the original game, but there's none of that in osrs. you see someone with an animated lava cape, asking him where he got it and you can get it too. That doesn't mean it'll be handed to you, but you can theoretically get it.

depends on your unlocks, if you've gone far into the clue shit then just farming elite clues.
otherwise you'll probably want golden god to get crafting and magic up fast and one of the areas where something can drop it like wildy is probably fastest consideirng how long itd take to get your combat gear and levels to the level it'd take to kill rune dragons compared to revenants. You could also dodgy deals up to 84 theiving and get it from a rogue's chest which might be faster.

Jagex should fix the bug though since a lot of people on the both sides are being harassed over the slayer relic
Non slayer masters aren't being invited to groups since the helm + relic is considered pre-bis for raiding
Those same people have started blacklisting and reporting slayer masters for bug exploiting
No one is winning here, the bug needs to be fixed

Attack speed relics arent good. They ruin the flow of combat that the regular game has and is built around. Every boss in the game is designed around a 4/5 tick weapon and having a 1tick blowpipe and a 2tick zombie axe is just a worse experience than if they just did more damage per hit

the more i play the less i regret taking gg, its really nice in bosses where i dont need to care about picking up all the shitty alchables or coin drops so it speeds up bossing a bit, and basically skipping a lot of the early game and up to 99 of many of the buyables is really nice, i think it will only get useless after 50m magic, prayer, construction and crafting where with ff you cant really get enough gp to do most of those

Don't bother, you'll be drowning in gold in Wildy from a single revenant task I have 3m in ethereum bracelets alone sitting in my bank right now from 2 revenant tasks (with slaughter, though). I'm sure this info is already around somewhere but just in case, FYI you can hand clue scrolls to watson in hosidius and receive master clues in the form of scroll boxes.
you need to open each of the lower clues first so it's a bit tedius but quicker than doing the clues themselves at least.
