>>504386698you need to do combos. if a big aoe hit comes in, you bacon virtue then prism an enemy for a big group heal (use a prism [harm] macro to make sure it doesnt accidently hit an ally with mouseover), you've got the seasonal blessings which will cause you to radiate aoe healing, cooldown faster, or just give you more raw throughput. you've got rising sunlight combined with avenging crusader for a 1 min CD super sayan heal mode. also if you are healthy truth prevails will splash aoe healing off judgment. also if holy shock feels weak (which could be a gear issue) try taking reclamation which gives it a big boost the lower the target is.
holy paladin is VERY cooldown reliant, so if you arent using your cooldowns often, thats problem #1. problem #2 is that its just kind of a dysfunctional kit, and its trying to do fistweaving without the smartheals and automatic healing built into the damage attacks. its like halfway between fistweaver and disc priest where you need to have the right cooldowns set up and then activate them turning your burst damage into healing.
also if you are still leveling, holy paladin legit doesnt come online until the last row of talents, so i would just level prot or ret until you hit at least 70
for hero talents, herald of the sun is kind of the turn your brain off option. it doesnt add any complexity to the kit, and basically just attaches a bunch of heal over time to your single target heals. it helps with throughput without complicating the spec
lightsmith is more flexible, and offers you another defensive button, but does slightly complicate the spec with another cooldown you have to track, and a buff tethering system that works like a mini 2 player spirit link totem. lightsmith also incentivises playing around avenging crusade windows even more with blessed assurance
