I mean I could write a book on how to fix great vaults, but the seasons are still so short that you are forced to raid to be competitive in title range for any m+ title
(and you are completely fucked out of it as a solo player but in absolute extreme cases with giga-fotm picks) which is genuinely laughable to have gone on for this long

as for gear longevity? don't know honestly, things like eve and rs manage it but they're completely different games

Around 5 months per season is more than enough imo.
I think that a dinar system would work pretty well, even if somewhat boring
But they really like the vault rng. Which I admit, many times it's exciting to get an item you really want, especially early on. But also frustrating once you're after 1 or 2 items
I was thinking of maybe adding the dinar sometime around mid to late season, so those really unlucky have the opportunity to get everything they wanted

Congratulations. You've figured it out. Because Knaak came along and decided to wank Malfurion into something he wasn't in WC3. And then Night Elf fans fell in love with Knaakfurion and insist he still must be the bestest of besties of all beastie druids who could 1v1000000000. But you know what Knaakfurion makes for? A bad story. A character who's written to be so OP the fanbase is left questioning why he doesn't just solve the problem, or why he keeps jobbing. Because he has to job so the story can happen.
Me'dan would have the same exact issue, if they actually kept him around instead of erasing his existence from the narrative. I think the more important thing is encounter design. A lot of healers are just made unviable in things like high end m+ because it all comes down to 15 second burst windows where you do top meters like that and then go back to jacking off in between. All healers could do with a bit of pruning but in addition you also need to cut down in how encounters do damage.

random queue is best because there's a substantial honor bonus if you win
i only queue random BG and random epic BG, plus the brawl if it's interesting this week (unfortunately comp stomp, the easiest honor in the game, just ended)
if you like arena, skirmishes are pretty fast honor as well
korrak's is pure suffering, avoid at all costs

if you're alliance, it can also be worthwhile to sit in isle of dorn instead of dornogal between queue pops, so you can grab the war mode crate which drops honor, conq and bloody tokens every 45 minutes or so

All of those were things rsham brought and were listed as definitive proof that this season was so poison and utility heavy that there was no meaningful way any healer could dethrone rsham. Then everyone switched over to disc+enhance because every single push group hit the wall they always hit where all mechanics fall to the wayside of raw dps/hps found within specific windows. Enhance is doing full unholy max aoe opening CD aoe nonsense every third pull because every single push group is feeding it PI and Aug. The last time a dps was brought outside of their specific damage profile (Aug withstanding) was rogue mission bullshit in BfA. Every single time a dps is meta you people just list all its good utility and go "oh that's why" and then when it falls to the wayside when the damage aspect gets nerfed you suddenly disappear. Same shit with Rsham in SL where it was meta for a season and people were unironically going "look at all its utility it has fucking tremor totem for Rezan that's why its meta" only to have this exact same scenario play out again. People played fucking destro/Survival when hunter still had dogshit defensives and even worse utility. It never matters for dps.

TLDR is they wanted tone down self sustain and make tanks more reliant on healers. Problem is the way the dungeons are designed and tuned completely goes against everything they said here about damage intake. All it seemed to accomplish is making even less people play tank during this season which has the trickle down effect of everyone else having a harder time even playing the game as they wait around for a tank forever

Ret paladins are literally the third/vying for fourth most used dps in top 2k (>>504245613) still and they're only losing to Enhance/Frost/Weird who both benefit from PI aug feeding more and have more damage. Ret does not do the single highest amount of damage on a pull possible. It just has a very consistent 30 second burst window that doesn't need a lot of gear (but scales less well compared to these dominant specs) and you can literally see this reflected in its representation already dominating normal keys (which benefit from ret being incredibly popular regardless of power level) and completely respectable rep in push group keys where it only starts to fall off. I am being completely serious when the answer to why a dps is meta for any given season is "it do big damage". I struggle to think of a single post early BfA season where this is not the first and last answer as to dominance in the meta. There's nuance to be found in both healer rep and tank rep but dps has and will continue to be "who does big aoe" or "who has good cleave".

Post Aug DF was dominated across three seasons almost exclusively by a meta in which you fed absolutely everything into a single dps with the only notiicble utility being brought was mass dispel.
SL started with a incredibly heavy aoe meta with the only really noticeable function outside of just raw mass aoe was balance having trees for DH when it wasn't running away from shit and ended on two back to back seasons of, again, survival/destro which notoriously brought nothing to a group of importance and were a really hot button issue at the time.
BfA was the last time we saw the complete degeneracy of shit like three outlaw and only one one out of three rogues had to do "missions". Outlaw and DH cleave absolutely dominated that entire expansion and were only dethroned in popularity by BM and Fire getting cracked out on corruption.

I genuinely don't know what to tell these were the metas for almost a decade and were all completely dominated by whatever spec brought a large amount of relevant damage. The only argument to be made is early BFA where both dominant specs really did bring a lot of valuable group utility. The few examples of metas in which there weren't huge gaps were seasons like SL S2 or DF S1 where there was a modicum of balance and most dps got brought in a completely reasonable split.

Well that's what happens when incompetent monkeys just assign random numbers to their content with no testing then release it in its completely overtuned untested state then basically still refuse to actually nerf and tune it correctly after releasing it.
Heroic BRD needs a literal unironic 60-80% nerf across the board and in all the weeks it's been open all they've done is like a minor 15% nerf. Not even remotely close to what is needed to make it worth running.

Just shows how little the devs care about the players and the game. They would literally rather shrug their shoulders and let the content be wasted and watch it be removed than to apply a simple hotfix.

It's just an achievement you get when all your current gear across all slots is high enough ilvl that it can't be upgraded by an entire tier of crests anymore. I think the breakpoints are 593 ilvl, 606 ilvl, 619 ilvl and 639 ilvl for each achievement tier

Catform was superfluous from the beginning, it was always about becoming a big bear and swiping everyone.
Should go back and just weave cat back into guardian and call it feral again. Keep the catforms as legacy guardian shapes.

Kind of silly how money people I see complaining about not having some MoP mount and always claiming they've been farming for it for years. Like MoP remix JUST happened and it lasted for months. You could buy everything from the expansion off the vendors. I've seen so many posts and random people in game like during the mount off go "aw man i've been farming sha of anger for 10 years for that mount".
If any of these people genuinely gave that much of a shit about these MoP mounts and mogs surely they would have logged in MoP remix at least once during its long lasting event?

I'm just not a fan of the key squish. At the start you could easily +2 or +3 something then instantly get into booty blasting territory. The only key ranges worth doing are 4 - 8 - 10. On top of that the sweatlord meta is right next door to what you'd want your myth vault farming key and it bleeds over heavily.

Yeah, it's pretty disappointing. Personally I can handle giving up the g-shift button, but I got really used to the size and weight of the thing, and the logitech software automatically changing my profile depending on which game I'm playing.

The evga x15 can still be found, and for relatively cheaply, but the reviews are terrible for it. Supposedly the software is unreliable and the mouse wheel usually starts acting up within a year.

I tried the redragon M913 impact elite is serviceable, and the side buttons are similar to the g600, but it has a wide clunky base that'll drag inconsistently against some surfaces. Also the software works but is very barebones, and the company only supports it up to windows 10, so if you have any bugs or issues, customer support can't help you.

The steelseries aerox 9 is often unavailable, save for the WoW edition that's a stupid $160.

That seems to leave the corsair scimitar elite, which I might break down and buy. At least I can get one locally from best buy, won't have to mess with shipping if I don't like it.

Oh, and there's razer options, but I broke two fairly basic mice from them, so I have no faith in their mmo mice.
