this already feels like a true route of sorts, like every main plot point is more or less revealed and addressed, i would expect "side routes" to reveal bits and pieces and leave a bunch of stuff unresolved so it all comes together later, but this one is throwing everything on the grill already
i would imagine the plot should go more or less similarly with slight alterations in the other routes, rather than being something completely different, but then i can't imagine what iria's route and the true route would be like then
i will have to kneel hard if they manage to actually write completely different stuff and developments for each route while still making sense and not recycling

Muv-Luv Unlimited Meiya ending complete. I kind of felt like Unlimited was a bit of a chore to get through on my reread because I just wanted to get to Alternative, but I still found the ending to be moving and it made me tear up, so I'm glad for that. I do think that the way the endings for the different heroines in Unlimited were handled was fucking lazy as shit. If they were just going to swap the heroines out for each ending the way they did then they should have just made it a single-heroine game like Alternative is and focused the game on Meiya. She's the heroine that works best for the actual story anyway. It's also why I don't feel like rereading any of the other endings, there's not really any point unless you just want to fap to the H-scenes. Anyway, a few things left to do in Unlimited and then I'll get Alternative installed.
