The gunplay, guns themselves, movement, and mechanics are all very good. Even the bad maps also have some very high highs, including red card, and especially when you play them on the mode they feel intended for.
IMO it's the best COD since BO3. If it gets some better maps it can be the best since BO2.

This challenge description is very misleading. Stunning them with a concussion grenade does not work, staggering them with the mauler cannon does not work, knocking them over with the jet engine weapon does not work, using the m203 special ammo does not work. Which means the "or slowed" part is a lie, the only thing that counts is freezing them with the cryo ammo mod.

Yeah the other anon is right, I don't see how you would think stunned enemies count for this. Especially when cryofreeze exists in game so frozen actually means frozen solid from cold in this context.
Now I wouldn't blame you for trying the dark flare's slow down augment since it says slowed, but unfortunately that doesn't work because I tried it before.

I liked the maps. And it took a long for that game to attract the sweats or Activision to turn up the matchmaking because I maintained 2 kdr (not kda) for the longest time until at some point it instantly started to fell because they turned on some switch.

I also tried several of the same slowing methods you tried and was also disappointed to find they don't work.

Ignore the two retards who don't know "slow" is any movement speed reduction, which would of course include staggers, stuns, roots, and shoves. The cod developers are wrong to not include these things for that challenge, or at the very least they are wrong to include slowed in the description instead of just saying frozen, since frozen is the only thing that works. They meant to say slowed by ice but left that important detail out of the description.

Don't forget to research the Ice Cloud augment for the cryo ammo mod, it makes that challenge a lot faster.

It's insane to me how I can be so good at every other first person shooter and some third person shooters yet in CoD I lose gunfights I have no business losing. I shoot first, my aim is near perfect, then I die in what seems like 1 bullets. I was fucking GE in CS2 just a few months ago. Predator in Apex. Champ in lolfirnite (no build mode). D1 peak in Siege. Yet for some reason I mysteriously can't win gunfights in this?
I've always said when you can kill in 4 bullets a single bullet not registering is game breaking. People just accept this? Like how the fuck can you play this knowing bullets vanish?
Meanwhile pic related was the CSGO community when hit reg was SLIGHTLY off.

This shotgun obliterates me but I'm running into some serious problems with it. I figured since my aim assist doesn't really work and I only have one hand maybe I'll use a shotgun on steak house. Even at close range it doesn't seem to do anything. The burn doesn't kill them either. I'm basically just hoping for a teammate to kill them so I can get an elimination which ultimately is my strategy in general.

I really wish they didn't make spawn rigging so blatant. Every time my team is ahead we end up getting the worst spawns possible. Hardpoint is the real champ at making you realize this too. Either starts spawning us far away or right in front of enemies.

Well the hit reg is terrible which makes every gun fight feel terrible which is the core of every FIRST PERSON SHOOTER. Servers keep shitting out. Spawns still feel bad which can turn a good time into a bad time really quick. Visibility is downright awful and head glitching is rampant. Animations are something out of the xbox one era. Cheaters are still a huge problem which admittedly is no surprise. Sound audio is still bricked. Then there are the little things like some challenges not working which it's whatever who cares.

All in all one of the worst 'competitive' multiplayer games I've played in a while. Thank god for zombies.

Been playing HC with a friend and good lord do I see a lot of blood splatter and no hit marker. Saw a guys lower legs sticking out from behind a barrel on an objective and it took 3 shots with the goblin before I actually got one to register. I think shooting people running across windows and doors is the worst when it comes to this too. Bop em as the sprint past a window only to see the big pink mist and no hit marker. Doesn't phase my friend though.

Onslaught Accelerated is probably one of the worst gamemodes I have ever played in the history of this franchise.
Onslaught is already complete and utter dogshit, but this is 100x worse. No skill, pure RNG.
Possibly the most painful blueprint I have ever tried to unlock.
I sincerely hope they will not throw Onslaught in BO6 as well.

People want input based matchmaking. I reinstalled Xdefiance couple of weeks ago and now that I started to use kbm exclusively I could not find any full lobby. Matchmaking would just go on and on and fill up the lobby with 6-8 people because everyone uses a controller and they have enabled input based mm too.
CoD has much bigger audience but I doubt I could get good mm even in EU which has more kbm players than the US.

The most frustrating aspect of nu-CoD is the constant lowering of expectations. It is the expectation that with every patch something will break, the big stuff will eventually get fixed within something almost resembling a reasonable timeline, but all the little stuff under the hood will remain broken or be broken at some point. The servers are genuinely awful bordering unplayable at times even outside of the retarded matchmaking algorithm putting you in suboptimal conditions, for fuck's sake I rubberband at least twice for thirty seconds on a solo zombies session lasting no longer than an hour. XP has been repeatedly nerfed and capped for both accounts and weapons because they need to maximize the amount of facetime the skin shop has. And speaking of the skin shop and microtransactions, motherfuckers pointed out the display bugs for battlepass tokens and how they make progressing it frustrating and that shit got fixed at warp speed.

So if you get shit on your bullets deal more damage. Or the enemy's bullets deal less damage to you. Hitmarker poster isn't experiencing neither of these.
Plus, reverse boosting Youtubers would start getting hitmarkers. And would need to switch main accounts to "reset damage".

The argument about skill-based damage is stupid because if Activision wanted to implement such a system they wouldn't have waited until fucking B06 to finally implement it when MW22 was built from the ground up for the sole purpose of eliminating all forms of skill expression. Hitmarkers being client side and both the netcode and servers being complete dogshit pajeetware are a far more sensible explanation. You are right. Most people don't also understand how the matchmaking works. If I match up from Helsinki, I get assigned to Luxemburg, Netherlands or Poland or Germany. All of these are 50ms away from me.
But what none of these jewtubers don't tell you is that from where are your 11 other lobby participants coming from.
In EU the latency variation isn't that big but if I play in the US the special dick flattening lobbies will have a huge variation.
I have posted screenshots.
Of course now that BO6 won't allow us to show the latency of other players it's just one more obfuscation layer. Fuck you Activision.

If you want to try, use a sniper and see when other guy is aiming at you from a distance.
There's a funny chance that before you see him actually shooting you could shoot two bullets but nothing happens but then you die.
You don't notice this discrepancy with auto guns that easily.

The simplest answer I can give you is that it's an absolute fact that the servers are complete dogshit and that hit detection is entirely client-side, these are both indisputable. Again, easily explained by SBMM manipulating your lobby composition. Scrubs will shoot at the helicopter, people who know how the game works will simply ignore it because it's completely non-threatening. If you're in a high skill lobby there's less of a chance people will be shooting at them because they're too busy not dying to it, the exception to this maybe being some points on hardpoint if you have a lobby that plays the game.

I'm just saying that while I would not put it against Activision to be willing to do something like this, I also understand that the potential damage it could cause to them wouldn't be worth the additional "layers" of match manipulation beyond what the algorithm already accomplishes successfully.

cap 11 is better. right after you reach the church you head up on the roof. once you reach round 11 you kill the spider wave and then the next zombie wave, quit & save and reload the game until your game starts without the spider wave.

To add on to this anon's post: my recommendation is to get mystic gold/opal on marksman rifles and snipers first, followed by LMGs. Maybe someone has a different experience but that shit is definitely weighted. For rapid-fire weapons opening up the zipline to the initial spawn point at the gas station and hanging back there funnels the zombies incredibly well and makes headshots braindead. For marksman rifles, sniper rifles, and weapons otherwise incapable of keeping up with the numbers then conga-lining them around the roof is the preferred method. Also be careful about over-upgrading your weapon for high-damage guns because if it kills an armored zombie in one hit you get cucked out of a good 7 or so headshots a round.
