>crMK target combo is 100% unsafe to mashed invuln reversal in all situations
>Combo enders are all unsafe or interruptable and don't give any sort of pressure
>DP has a lot of dead angles
>Burn knuckle is extremely susceptible to perfect parry
>Round wave is extremely susceptible to perfect parry
>Heavy crack shoot is only lower body projectile invincible on frame 14, and any normal will put Terry in a float state (startup is 30 fucking frames)
>OD fireball does not have enough hitstun to fireball DR or even combo off it in neutral
>Heavy normals are very lackluster, he would be improved in every way by a regular shoto stHP
>HP will often hit on the second hit with no way to tell between it and the first hit, which is the one that combos (HK power charge will be -16 on block)
>HK has too shallow a hitbox for a 12 frame normal, and will whiff and be punished very often
>HK is a backwards falling punish counter which limits his PC conversions severely since he can't go into his juggle routes
>Light strings do not give enough pushback to leave Terry safe after pressuring an opponent, effectively meaning you have to guess on your own pressure
>Specials give him no way to end blockstrings and take back turns
And last but not least
>Lane switch target combo is nonfunctional and possibly the worst move in the game
Also zero pros picking him up but /sfg/ will say he's a super secret mid-high tier

How can you rework Honda/Lily/AKI/Bison without alienating the mouthbreather who main them? These people are currently the one defending every shitty mechanics around.

you can't. the characters in this game are designed around offense/defense being incredibly volatile. you have to just remove basically the whole cast and heavily rework the few that are left (probably just shotos and shoto-adjacent characters)

looking at who is qualified it looks less mickey mouse at least

I think they will keep the current qualification and just make the auto qualify spots from premiers a leader board and the top 10 in that leader board qualify to get sponsored players to travel a bit more.

I was a game away from 1800mr today, ran into two bisons back to back, literally lost both sets because my AA got baited. The MU is just so depressing for Dhalsim. I learned all kind of mindset and tactics to have in neutral, how to fireball right, how to beat delay jabs, how to play around the drive meter, Chun-Li techs etc... I have 1.7k hours dumped into the game while getting coached, I don't see how it is that surprising that I can take matches from top players now

The biggest weakness of SF6’s battle design is that there aren’t enough normals that are made to beat other normals based on high/mid/low. Like Guile’s upside down kick or Chun’s leap kick beating lows.
Neutral drive rush would naturally have counter play if this was more prevalent among the roster and character specific tools would be highlighted more. They kinda did this as well with some feint moves like Luke or Jamie have. These kind of tools should be more prevalent in a defensive way. Like sabaki in VF.

SFxT excelled at this more than other entries in the series and it reflects in its strong neutral but it can also make a game that’s too defensive.

I think the true value of f hk in neutral is the damage you can do to your opponent's drive while being safe when spaced right. So try to use it more as tool to pressure your opponent when he is low on drive, and not just fish for punish counter. Of course you can try to use it to punish counter on a read, but don't just throw it like that and hope it will work

everything sets up an auto safejump anywhere on screen, she has the best fireball drive rush in the game, some of the best blockstring pressure in th game, some of the longest combos that all route very easily into lv1 2 or 3 anywhere on screen, neutral skips galore, fireball negation galore
if she had a good anti-air or a dp she would be S tier
