So I was trying to design a build around the kandarin echo off-hand, and the only thing I can really think of is this.
Basically all it's good for is executing a bunch of shit with wilderness slayer, which seems to have the highest concentration of elemental weakness monsters.

Then your main bread and butter is just spamming accursed sceptre specs (+50% accuracy + max hit, additional +100% accuracy from specialist, non-stacking 15% magic and def reduction) to overcome magic's dog-shit accuracy in a lot of cases.

But then is this really based around the kandarin off-hand and not really an accursed sceptre build?
It's almost retarded enough that I want to try it on my alt.

How do I, as an Ironman, make the wilderness a better experience
I'm already doing slayer tasks in monk robes while risking 3 items and being careful about not falling for skull lures, what else is there to do out here?
I tried bossing but recently you carry any risk and you get hopped on mid boss fight more usual, maybe more people scouting or just random world hoppers.
Since carrying shit, besides the protected 3, this has been happening a lot less but now my trips are shorter and it's not worth my time
Can I skip wilderness boss gear or is it necessary for gear progression, I've been checking the wiki and it seems void knight is doable for 70+ content but leads to few, if not only 1, kill per trip?

The fact that I can be logged on while fighting with a pvm setup against a person out there solely with a pvp setup is gross
I hate being prey, but as an Ironman I'm no hunter either
It's not like I'm forced to be out there, the rewards are tempting, at this point bring back the revenants so the wilderness pvp dies again and I can skill/get chest keys in peace.

You have solid mid game gear in every style with perilous moon.

You're kind of lacking late-game melee gear with that choice, but blood moon is more than serviceable. Unless you count the sunlight spear prayer bonus thing IF you can actually kill echo colosseum.
You have late-game ranged gear, but late-game ranged gear is pretty unimportant with T6 ranged.
You have access to shadow+ancestral, but magic is the meme style this time.

People will have their combat masteries before they even get to the level needed for veteran games, I think it'll be easier than most leagues. Just make sure you get it done within the first week since everyone will want void but nothing more. I feel bad for the bottom tier of the void pyramid scheme who are stuck.

They've tuned everything to be slower, medium tasks reward less points, there are overall less points vs last league the addition of varlamore hides this a lot, there are more tasks needed to progress but less tasks available.

Not that I think any of this will be a roadblock, it's just a lot of "but why?"

If you drop Mory you could go to Tirannwn and get crystal blessing and then have crystal armor on for melee/ranged where you only swap ammo slot for a full switch

Yup, they've done it. I planned for leagues 5 months in advance. I worked OT and saved my PTO to use for leagues. I told my wife and kids that I can't make it to Thanksgiving because I would be on a very important business trip. I booked a nice hotel on the beach and brought my PC with me. Now I'm all set up and once again jagex has fucked me. What a waste of an entire day, an entire day of hard earned PTO wasted. Now I'm just sitting here in my room while the wife and kids are ringing my phone to say they miss me and wish I could be there tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Through my frustrations, I yelled no and immediately regretted it. Thanks jagex for splitting this family apart and ruining my life.

I'm leaning Frem because it has better skilling options (Mory has basically nothing I feel), but Mory has Barrows whereas Frem bosses are all kinda lategame I feel.
