Ok the solution is buying them from mol ul rek instead which you need to use tokkul instead so you first need to buy chaos and then sell chaos for tokkul to then get infinite ores

yeah personally i'm not doubling down on processing this time. production master will be enough for me, while recall will improve wildy pvm significantly. it was fun for a while, but processing crafting and fletching resources everywhere got old. alching will also take up a lot of my downtime during grinds.

Nah zeah is too big and sparse a region, unlocking it early you probably don't have good warps. Getting around at low lvl can be a pain with poison ticking. Farm guild doesnt unlock until 45. Tithe is kinda ass. Wintertodt is most certainly worth doing at the start with shit like up to 8m xp/hr in the 90s, less earlier obviously, if you're joining worlds at around 20% and then finishing and hopping. You need what 50/50 for it? Just check what you need to leave cause if not youre doing shit tasks like arceus library

They removed hp scaling. Everyone gets the same "warmth" meter. It's the same at level 10 as level 99.
Plus you basically get free food in there, as you can drink the rejuvenation potions now.

Just ignore your HP stat. It doesn't affect anything.
Your warmth meter basically acts like everyone has 100 "HP", but the warmth damage taken is closer to doing wintertodt at lower hp levels.
If your warmth meter goes to 0, you still die.

Is there any reason at all to pick magic? I remember getting sucked up by the "OMG BROKEN" mage memes in Leagues 4 and feeling constantly left behind compared to ranged with a tbow.
Ranged primary/melee secondary seems like the choice otherwise

Mage is weaker this time around, even last time I was pretty bummed when the leech didn't trigger off of barrage. 5 range-5 mage seems pretty good for this league, and you can get mage str in the 20s for most region combos and you don't need to pick the mage until late plus you won't have the shadow until late

private servers are coming out in some capacity next year, they will support "leagues". I don't trust streamers but some other people in the community will make some cool stuff I think. Jagex even said that eventually you'll be able to import custom stuff like models and sounds and if you can write code you'd have full control over most aspects of the game

Range's t6 sounds great on paper but it's the most accurate style already and you're getting doubled accuracy for free anyway

I was doing my own DPS calcs on my own setup, and while yeah it does make quite a difference for high defence stuff, but it's kind of the point of "aren't we already killing this shit quickly enough?"
And it obviously becomes more and more irrelevant the lower the defence gets. You're not fighting high defence shit all of the time.

I like the idea of the flexibility and variety going 5-5 provides. I know it's not max DPS all of the time.

Yes but multiple of these regions have benefits to all stages of the game and compliment each other
I'm going Zeah/Morytania/Varlamore and all of these cover a ton of bases and provide a lot of content for fun early, mid and lategame
But Fremennik is just a complete skeleton of a region that you make a pitstop for the Jewelry and construction and immediately go back to your other 2 regions

Again, tie Kandarin and Fremennik together

Consider how you get a herb for EVERY gathering action you do, and you can influence the herb sack to give any herb you want by filling up all of the other slots, you can compare herb xp to other xp directly.
Say all you wanted to make is super attacks, because it's the most trivial secondary if you have a shop, before multipliers, you get 100 herb xp per every teak log you cut (85 xp), so 99 woodcutting alone gets you 99 herblore. That doesn't even include the token xp the relic gives on finding a herb nor cleaning the herb.

Hyper-optimising the herbs you get sounds like a massive pain in the ass, but doing the basics of
- Keeping low-tier shit like guams in the sack
- Keeping other herbs you don't have good access to secondaries for in the sack
- Preferring to train gathering skills with methods with high-actions-low-xp (e.g. teaks vs redwoods)
You'll blow way past 99 herblore on the way to getting all of the gathering skills to 99.

Treasure will apply to pickpocketing (jmod confirmed on discord) and kandarin gets you npcs who can be pickpocketed for medium, hard, and elite clues. other than that just whatever region has skilling or chill bossing you want to do.

There is a chest underwater on fossil island that drops an item that can be turned in for agility/thieving xp, in the main game it's below average xp, but that's because it's balanced around a 1/8 success rate at opening the chest. With dodgy deals it's now 8x xp before even accounting for league multipliers. It's awkward and annoying, but it's generally going to btfo of any other agility method so it's an easy grind.

Ideally you save it for when your league multiplier is much higher and focus on rooftops initially since they're tasks anyway, then you come back to cap off agility when it's needed to max or open up a shortcut which likely isn't ever going to be a thing but who knows.

It's ~15% extra damage (the extra accuracy is worthless if ranged, and probably shit for melee + magic too because you still have insane accuracy), but only on slayer mobs plus a few bosses
Most slayer mobs will be killed in 3 seconds regardless, most bosses in ~15 seconds, it has no impact on raids which is the only place it'd really matter tbqh

it'll already be a super fast skill so taking it just for combat seems fairly shit. Feel like Production would impact most people a lot more

99 con = 9k teak planks that you just note to continue chopping
99 wc = chop 9.5k teaks so very little overhead and the overhead you use on wc tasks
Total expense = 4.5m plus you don't pay butler
1 hour of dodgy deals without rogue outfit = 1.5m gp
1 hour of dodgy deals with rogue outfit = 3m gp
Assuming best you have is aoe varrock guards as your best method at the time 3 hrs of thief = 6m xp at highest multiplier plus you're more likely to do it earlier than not so probably a bit less

I think golden god takes an L here

It's insane amounts of free logs/fish/seeds/herbs, basically takes care of all like 6 skills by itself (fletching, fm, con, cooking, farming, herb), it's an undervalued relic I think honestly.
If you have Frem it doesn't really make a difference, pocket kingdom is 48x better than default kingdom (24x faster, 2x yield)

What regions should I be looking at for melee?
I'm taking slayer relic for sure so I'll definitely be taking Morytania and then I'm thinking Tirranwn for crystal armour + echo boss reward.

Not sure what I should take for my first region though, I'm split between Varlamore and Fremennik. Fremennik seems good for the rings and amulet but early game not much to do there.

Varlamore looks interesting but I've not played since it was added so not sure if there's anything worthwhile there for me.

100% accuracy, a 30% min hit, and 60% pray pen means you don't need to offstyle thoughever, the worst you'll have to do is swap tbow for rune knives on low magic enemies outside of a rare few enemies like Tekton and Dusk. Okay, but why wouldn't I just not pick the slayer master relic and get the 16% damage regardless when I get assigned the monster I want to kill?... The 5x slayer point multiplier really adds up, so you're able to block and skip bad tasks easily. And with Wildy, even the occasional dud task like lava dragons or bandits still gives me Larran's keys as a consolation prize. You're eventually going to get a 100+ boss kills task, is it really worth the convenience of always being on task? I guess it's nice for one-off tasks like Jad.

In contrast, if you don't take Grimoire, you're simply locked out of those benefits. You're not going to be able to do 100 Vet'ion kills with piety if you're patient, and you're not randomly going to get access to other spellbook (which is great with 95% runes saved). When in doubt, I always go with the relic that lets you do something you're simply unable to do otherwise.

I don't think people are shotting on T6 ranged for being bad, they're shitting on it for being too good. It completely changed the combat style distribution overnight. Everyone was claiming this was a melee league up until masteries were revealed, and it instantly shifted to ranged > melee > mage.

You check your farming patches and you start doing farm runs early and often. Use tree seeds from birdhouses or from whatever in your regions shits out tree seeds. Plant fruit tree seeds as soon as you can if your regions don't have fruit tree patches. Or you pick Overgrown because you hate farming.

you're ignoring that a lot of common region and relic picks solve things that varlamore solves, meaning that the thieving, prayer, hunter, and even herblore XP you'd get from there aren't worth as much as you'd think. moons is fun, huey is huey, and the colosseum is genuinely a good reason to take the region. frankly, it's just a 2/3rds finished region that's good, but doesn't improve my or a lot of other people's plans.

you're looking at in a vacuum. with morytania and varlamore is a good option, though. you get ultor ring to cover the ring, and rancor to cover the neck, which lets you dodge fremennik if you dislike its content.

i think people are overestimating how annoying it is to grind out mining. if you care about grinding out mining, you care about points. if you care about points, you're doing the annoying mining tasks like MLM, volcanic mine, star shards, etc. from there it's just a few more hours of VM or power mining iron and you're good.

My regions don't benefit that much from wrangler especially for hunting. The only thing I'm missing out on is anglers, bwans are afk enough for me. Amethyst with power miner becomes very high xp/hr (don't like mining) and will help solve early game ammo and accelerate smithing. Cooking is also a buyable (PM makes it take very little time). Sharks are buyable in kourend.

>Why no forager?

My regions give me access to very good sources for all seeds and secondaries, so I'd rather wing it and wait until overgrown to do it all passively including 50m farming. Dodgy deals with flippers will also be highest agil xp in game.

No, I have wilderness for points and keys and you get so many slayer passives by default, superiors don't really get you much, I'll be swimming in clues without clue relic and I'll have the clue teleport regardless, so thats out. That leaves production relic which is still overrated by all the fags who took it last year but IMO the strongest of the 3, even if its nerfed a bit

If you take Mory with slayer master, you'll do more damage than you do with void and you dont have to do gwd. Only downside of course is it doesnt work on nightmare/raids, but honestly you dont need that extra dps in raids.

Desert isnt really the best region for t6 ranged because ranged does infinite dps with anything, masori makes very little difference and the drygore blowpipe isnt much better than just darts. Nah its not that bad, if you don't like slayer you can absolutely take slayer master outside of mory. The clue relic is only really useful for extreme point chasers, especially if you already have clue compass you don't have to worry about it for getting some clue points. With banker's note a lot of production skills become very very easy yes, you can do some funny things like bankstanding nowhere near a bank. prod master is even more redundant with it.

It's time again, last time I came here and you gave me good advice and managed to get my dragon trophy with KZA and ranged.
I need fresh advice: I haven't played since last leagues, I've never done any raids, I did jad and alchemical hydra and god wars and abyssal fat guy last time. I'll be on for long hours but about 50% of it afk (20+ min downtime at a time), last time I had the relic that sent stuff to my bank and chilled at karambwans to fill that afk time. I can learn fights and grind them but will play solo.

They split the relic that sends resources to your bank into 3 relics. Pick the fishing / hunting or the woodcutting one if you want to AFK a lot. Tier 2 is a choice between passive agility XP, passive herblore XP, and AFK / semi-AFK thieving.
By that point you'll be able to decide what's good on your own, so there's no point giving you advice.
