well you can be mean if you want to idrc but ok so my plan for regions was initially to go vat because I like skilling and maxing but since theyve made the cape buyable I changed it to VKT which opened up a raid region which is nice and as for buikds I was thinkint about going for 5/5 in melee/ranged but im not sure just how stupid that is to give up the t6 ranged relic like i know its really good but i have kind of been planning to use a lot of bowfa which already has good accuracy because i am a little worried aboit upkeeping darts without desert or asgarnia and as for other random relics I was gonna do bankers note grimoire and the forager one I think its called so I dont have to worry about secondaries I think thats the end of my blogpost sorry for wny typos i didnt read it im just hitting post

uh k = kourdend z = zeah but since you said raid i think you mean vzt which is a really strong pick. its funny youre talking about 5/5/0 because i had a long conversation with a few people about this today and we came to the conclusion that there's a good chance it is the strongest build with full disclosure that im still going 4/6/0 at this point because its safer. we think its going to be the strongest because its pretty obvious at this point the echo bosses will use overheads hence the tier 6 passive and if you look at a style with t5 without overheads vs a t6 doing 60% damage the t5 wins almost every time unless you were actually supposed to be magic ya know what i mean. anyway i dont think its dumb but i think its a bit risky for my taste
keep in mind for darts you have crystal implings they are increasing the spawn rate of rare imps.bankers note is a huge w its clearly the best choice but i dont like forager if youre going varlamore because i think with a 8x point multiplier at mixology it already doesnt use 2nds

For Asgarnia/Desert/Frem is it going to be better to hybrid range into mage or melee? It has the dogsword but otherwise you'd just want to boost shadow

My other potential picks are Frem/Desert/Zeah which has a complete lack of melee so the choice is obvious.

Mory/Wildy/Frem has melee hybrid plus mage but I don't think there's anything I'd want to do in wildy other than just having the new sword so kinda eh there.
Not doing the prayer build because not having a build before killing sol heredit(harder) and getting its drop is a big meme

watch a mastering mixology video or do it for a few minutes but basically you turn herbs in to resin you use the resin to make potions that you turn in for points and then you can spend those points on potion packs expert potion pack on the wiki but youll also be able to just straight buy aldarium which is the 2nd for prayer restoration potions heres a video of the simplest way to do it https://youtu.be/tfVtxUWhFJE at the cost of efficiency but its so fast people do it anyway even on irons in the real game

so ive talked about this itt b4 sorry for anyone reading this repeat episode but i take d, k and magnesium together for good absorbtion and i also take c just for the heck of it. and now youll be pleased to hear this, recently there was an update to the wintertodt minigame in old school runescape that made it so you dont have to eat during the game. you can now heal using the potions, and you can make the potions in the lobby, so you never have to leave the minigame. you also take damage much slower so at my personal level i only drink once every few games

In raids or inferno/colosseum you're not really going to be dying more than once every three minutes, and lets say you absolutely choke every time on zuk, you can now do nearly his full hp while ignoring his mechanics. The guardian is only better for overall dps when you're dealing with trivial things like slayer or the worthless bosses. Specialist is 100% the best but nigga I am not clicking like I'm tick manipulating during pvm, I am not that invested in maxing the dps for leagues.

Dogsword + specialist is going to be enough to keep you fully healed and reduce all defence to 0, but spec spam is just really tiresome. I liked Undying Retribution better because it was fun for nuking a massive pile of slayer monsters every 3 minutes. It seems like this relic leans more into the safety blanket aspect than the turning yourself into a nuke aspect, and it still helps cover recall's weakness in instanced content.

All you're doing by picking this with recall is reducing your micromanagement with high cost specs and making them more accurate in a temporary easy mode where everything is already accurate.

Feels like I'm just defaulting to Last Stand.

I choose desert as my raid region because toa has the easiest raids and you can basically semi-afk 8 man raids and still get purps very quickly. I'm ignoring the blowpipe because you still need like 100-200 darts per hour if you're doing 1 tick.

I thought of wildy as well, but seems annoying as fuck with people pking you and wasting your time

I feel like this is an important consideration when adding a new skill or evaluating any skill. From combat to skilling, can you envision a player character naturally getting 99 in a skill with all other skills remaining low levels?

For combat, it works in terms of classing, a character is either a ranger, a mage, a tank, a brute or a warrior, or a paladin. These aren't official classes in Runescape but they just naturally apply.

99 mining with a 122 total? Absolutely, the character is a miner. Fishing? Yeah, the character is a fisher, they fish. Thieving? Thief. Acrobat, chef, woodsman, smith, carpenter, these all naturally occur as classes that any player character could rightfully be. Even slayer could arguably be a class as a monster slayer/mercenary. Either way, slayer is often criticized for just being the "Collect 200 bear asses" quests from games like WoW.

I really want to see any new quest in the same light. Is it a believable role or class that a player character could believably specialise in, and/or devote themselves to in spite of every other role, because that's reminiscent of real life.

Taming needs to be distinct from hunter. I'm not confident that it is.

Shamanism just feels like an alternative magic book. How is a shaman different to a wizard or a druid? Also, in Runescape lore, what the hell is the spirit realm meant to be?

But sailing? Can a man just be a sailor? Purely sailing that's not propped up by other skills? Sure.

I see sailing as the most obvious choice to maintain Runescape's world. What are your thoughts?

There is, you'd still get red hitsplats if they hit, your hp would just stay at 1 because you cannot go lower than it, you can take 37 damage at 5hp and, it's not like you go to negative health it's just 0 is the floor.

friendly forager is good regardless because you're generating herbs (that you can cheese and guarantee them spawning) instead of wasting your time farming them, you'd only need tree seeds to get 99 farming, secondary saving is the same thing, you're not wasting time farming retarded secondary mats for things like sanfews and super combats and shit. Corner cutter is worthless after 99 agility and you'll want to do some early agility tasks for points before you unlock tiers/regions. Dodgy deals is good for early game gold and will be used by autistic clue hunters who like doing that for points. So basically you take friendly forager for pvm and dodgy deals for late game league points for clues and a faster early game start, which might not help if it's T5 or T6

you're not getting giants stacks of herbs, you're getting seeds from pvm, every secondary but red spiders eggs sucks to get from pvm too. You're getting the herbs from other skilling methods which is double dipping considering you're getting 1 per 9 ticks, grimiore is too good to give up for farming relic

The tale of two leaguers.
While we both chop trees, I gained farming exp.
While we both did partner slayer, I gained herbs.
While we both picked our T3 relics, I hit 100m in a skill.
While we both do raids, I die because I forgot to turn off virtual levels notifications.
While the final day of leagues closes, I run out of seeds to plant from the one hour of master farmers I did at the start.
And we both had fun :)

Runescape forums didn't even have images or text formatting until like 2016 and even then they never allowed hyperlinks. Even without powertripping forum mods who'd lock page after page of threads and forumban you for posting in the "report a forum mod" thread they were totally useless for discussion. At the end of the forum's lifespan it was pretty much just a handful of generals kept alive by ritual bumping and merch threads with bogus price reporting.

You can only steal 2 at a time anywhere and that's draynor assuming skill cape guy+normal mf works. Without rogues that means you're at best collecting seeds similar to base game mf with the addition of the repickpocket chance. That's not very good

I don't think they want anything to instantly resolve a grind, which is why golden god exists in place of fire sale. It's the same effect but you have to ramp up to the result over time even if it's zero effort.

I've just in this thread realized a potential problem, how do I get ranged pots? I'm going D/F/M t6 ranged. Do I pretty much exclusively get wines of zammy from tob?? I'm not seeing many other consistent ways to get ranging pots or wines in my regions until tob. I'm taking the friendly forager relic anyway so I dont mind if its a small capacity its just a tad annoying not getting any till I do tob lol.

construction, you can bank(note) stand making planks, and obviously you can do all your construction without relying on butlers which you wont have. Any resource gathering skill, and also using bones on altars. If you're sweaty you can zero time production skills on the move.

Almost all of the cheese you can do in leagues is based on bankers note
One silly example is mage training arena graveyard. You know how you have to collect bones to turn it into bananas or peaches? Well with bank note you can go to trawler, buy infinite bananas, note them there, then inside the minigame directly unnote into bananas and get free points while skipping the activity
