>>503263870Yes, as throws are a huge threat. The "grappler" type characters can KO in just 3 throws. Even a character with weak throws like Sarah can do it in 4.
Another big reason that throws are an issue is because they track sidesteps in both directions and there's really no "tell" on them for different high throws. Nothing like how tekken had left or right hand leading that you could look for. So even if you see a throw coming, you only have a 1 in 3 chance of breaking it correctly just based on the guess. But you can in fact make a more educated guess based on the screen position and various other factors. (They're probably not going to do a throw that would ring them out near the corner, for example, so then it might be more like a 50/50 chance)
To be fair, some characters do have better lows like Lion, but that is more of a character specific thing.
>>503264442There is quite a bit on her, but some of it is scattered across various places.
To start off, read her wiki page on VFDC. At the top, they link things like the intro to Vanessa, a move analysis chart, and various things like that.
https://virtuafighter.com/wiki/vanessa/A video that helped me with her Defensive style was this one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMlYj1ZnDNINot really much in the way of guide videos specifically for Offensive Style.
I found this old Greek wiki that had some useful info here and there on her as well, but I'd call it more of a supplement.

But I'd wager they're a bit harder to read and may be outright nonsensical since I'm not a top player, thus some of it is probably wrong or only looking at one dimension of the character. Regardless, here's 26 pages on Vanessa.
https://controlc.com/08a84e69>>503270012You're right, that's a better punish. I'm usually worried about the open/close stance type combos because I'm not great at tracking the foot position on the spot.
