Turns out, he was the same Derek. We both kind of laughed about it—how small the world could be, even in Azeroth. It was strange, but we kept raiding together. He became more than just a guildmate. He took on a new role, both in-game and out. And somehow, in both realms, I found my place.

They buffed it right at the end of the first week and now you'll be rolling in tokens if you do the majority of the things that reward them. The good thing about them is they can be spent on 20 timewalking badges per token once you're done buying all the other stuff if you care to buy anything else with the badges

beacon seems like more of a trickle, and cone relies on your players being in a short, narrow cone that basically doesnt happen without coms.

i am just learning the spec. i've heard you pretty much dont use holy light or flash of light unless you absolutely have to. am i just spreading holy shocks and word of glory around 1 at a time with beacon up and hoping that covers it? what if prism isnt up for every big burst?

thats 3000 herbs of that one grade of one type per player, and you see this on every gathering resource.

what can a normal player do against something like that? a handful of players 0.0001% of the server are controlling the entire market

Nightborne weren't even considered Horde until prepatch, making it BFA content.
Stormhiem also had Genn there.
Highmountain is the Tauren Zone where not a single established Tauren NPC was allowed to go because Alliance bitched in Alpha about Baine.
Val'sharah is fully Night Elf, mixed with Gilneans, not Tauren.
Azuna, again Night Elf focus and Naga focus.
Entirety of the first raid Emerald Nightmare was focused on Night Elves.
Nighthold was all about Alliance leaning NPC Khadgar helping the Nightborne into saving Illidan another Alliance leaning NPC.
Tomb of Sargeras and Broken Shore were primarily focused on Alliance characters.
Argus was entirety an Alliance cast and not a single Horde NPC shows up in Antorus.

when they update housing, they should also update the guild tabard system. i was shocked how wildly outdated it is when i went to make a guild recently. it hasnt changed in almost 20 years, still using the same limited handful of colors and symbols, and all still at the original extremely blurry texture resolution, with no textures or fabric material patterns, just flat colors and single color borders.

I did that, I stood as close as I could to all the statues and got all 4 buffs on my character multiple times but the bird never picks up one of them for some reason. I even went back to karazan to check and the pillar has 3 lights around it so I'm definitely doing it right

Warcraft 1? No. It's a very old RTS an doesn't really have much in the way of story.
Warcraft 2? More fun, does away with the worst gameplay bits of WC1 (road building), but is lacking anything amazing story wise that Starcraft brought to Blizzard RTS's a few years later.
Warcaft 3's when they fully focused all in on narrative and embraced it. Gameplay's mostly fun, but the story certainly is one of those baby's first tragedy story and has some rough edges. But easily the most fun as far as their gameplay is concerned.

Mage doesn't have healing in combat. Mages use CC, shield buffs and smart movement to stay healthy. You'll understand as you level a mage that you don't need constant healing while levelling, and in dungeons you'll have a healer doing it.

Warlocks have Drain Life, but again they don't really press that button (Unless they're a certain spec and just used a certain cooldown, but that's getting into the weeds of it). They too use defensives like shield buffs and damage reduction cooldowns when threatened.

It'll start to make more sense when you actually get into it, trust me.

No problem. Don't be afraid to try out lots of different classes, you might surprise yourself with what you like.

Mage is a caster with a good amount of mobility spells, but you're kind of fragile if you aren't careful.
Warlock is a caster with next to no movement abilities but are incredibly durable.
There's also Shadow Priest, Elemental Shaman, Evoker. Something will eventually suit your tastes!

Do you think tanking or healing is easier in m+? I want to switch things up from dps but I'm not really that good at the game. Demonology warlock is pretty comfy.

Having a felguard pet to tank for you makes world content easier (unlike mages, who have to rely on kiting if they can't nuke something down before it reaches them). And demonology has a reliable interrupt unlike the other warlock specs.

The general rotation is very simple (gets a bit more complicated later, but not as bad as most mage specs). Cast certain attacks to do damage and build soul shards, then cast other attacks to do damage and summon demons. Most of the demons are temporary, so you gotta keep summoning more and more and more.

They can create healthstones (basically healing potions you can make for free, on a separate cooldown from healing potions), and a soulstone (an auto-revive you can cast on yourself or another). They technically have a Drain Life spell to heal, but it's usually not very good.

The major downside is long hard casts, which means you lose a fair bit of damage from moving around. Also it's more of a 'build up' damage spec, where it starts relatively slow and then you get more imps and more procs as you fight. So it's harder to go All Out at the start of a boss fight, because you gotta do some attacks to get your demons out first. And it can feel bad when there's a lull and you lose procs and imps between fights.

Alternatively, while it's not technically a caster, hunter is a pretty easy class to get into. Beast Mastery hunter is the most mobile ranged dps spec in the game, and is great at solo'ing content.

I cannot, not very well read on that topic. From what I've read,
I know implosion has no cap.
Legion Strike (felguard ability) is uncapped, but it's a pet's cleave, hard to position that.
The charhound does a bunch of AoE, pretty sure it's not capped.
The pitlord proc for diabolist is supposedly uncapped.
I've heard Bilescourge Bombers is uncapped, but I highly doubt that. I don't use it myself, so cannot confirm.
Hand of Guldan is probably soft capped.
Both felstorms are soft capped.

Yeah, felhunter provides an interrupt, that is 100% true. I got my perspective mixed up there. I was just thinking that other specs may choose to summon or sacrifice another pet and thus not have an interrupt available, whereas a demonology warlock will always have it.
