If you have 15 CEOs in a session, why not make it 3 cartels of each 5 players? Suddenly it is not everyone vs everyone anymore. I want game mechanics that unite people to work together. Or if not, have a damn good reason to fight each other. A three cartel mechanic would keep it more interesting than your standard two team deathmatch which gets stale.

I think they could incentivize trading between CEO's and Biker Presidents, like for example let's say I get a contract exclusive to me that requires certain product, weed, coke, valuables, cars, etc.
But I don't own any of those businesses yet because I didn't buy them, why not give players the ability to trade goods between each other for example maybe letting people set up the price so you have a fluctuating market, maybe do weekly events where cops are tackling down more certain types of businesses so the risk vs reward might decrease the value or even increase it, so for example I as a Biker President can pay a CEO to assist with my businesses for a cut of the pay, shit like that.
Simple us vs NPC's always works, you could have it so players need control certain parts of the map to maximize profit, basically erasing your competition, you could for example buy them out or kill it, making it so for example players clean an entire part of the map from NPC's businesses to claim the zone for increased payout or security for everyone that holds a part of it.

My biggest wish for a new rockstar game would be going really hard on NPC in NPC reactions and dynamics and events that generate emergent gameplay scenarios.

And also general interactions with people like rdr2 you can do the pozzing and negging of npcs but would be cool to ask npcs to pose for the camera etc. Loved how NPCs would react to youin RDR based on fame etc.

It still baffles me they never put in any kind of randomly occurring freeroam shoot outs or car chases. Not only is it an obvious choice the engine is clearly capable of it even on the ps3/360.

Kinda like GTA, the online version is mostly just the side businesses that players wouldn't bother with until they ran out of story missions. At any rate, it could be a relaxing time, if it wasn't for the other players that universally act like animals and are also generally warping around the map with magic and immortality.

With Red Dead Online, they have a number of ways to grind, and a bunch of contact missions. What it kinda lacks is anything worthwhile to grind towards. You make initial money to buy up all the different ways to grind, and then there you go, gainfully employed and that's pretty much success. Literally EVERYTHING is tied to the in-game economy, so if you want a sneak peak of GTA6 online, that's probably the best example today.

If you could just have a solo session, it could at least make it a relaxing place to explore and have generic repetitive cowboy adventures. But even then, the leveling system kinda limits the fun. Even if you are happy with your economic situation, you have to level up to just buy the basic gear. When you start the game, you can't even go fishing yet.

If there is something other than horses and carriages, I've yet to see it. The vehicles are certainly not especially exciting. If there is something interesting in comparison to GTA, it's that the NPCs in RDRO have kinda a style of combat that is certainly different than what GTA has. Of course, once you've been in a battle at one camp, you've kinda been in a battle at every camp.

I invited a rando to second me at the second chapter of doomsday. I gave them 85% just because i don't need the money and I didn't want my partner to quit at random. They just had to be the getaway pilot while I cleared the sub solo, which hopefully wasn't painfully dull for them.

I guess I assumed there was a mandatory floor to Cayo pay, but I've never taken other people in with me, so I guess I have never tried it. What if they only had a second player by accident, because they didn't know how to prevent it? Shorting your pay out of protest to Rockstar is a bit like an idiot yelling at the waiter about what the kitchen does.

Speaking of EMTs, I hope they actually function in GTA 6. In GTA 4 they would at least revive people depending on how severe the injuries were. In GTA V they show up and 100% of the time can never revive the NPC, and just leave them laying on the ground. Would be neat to see them actually be stretchered or something.
Also would be cool to be able work as one in GTAO as a side job kinda like taxi driving, but you can revive actual players who died. I guess there would have to be some incentive for the dead not to just respawn though. Maybe give them the option, but tell them there are x amount of ambulances in the lobby and the closest one is x feet/miles away. Maybe give them 2x health if a medic revives them. Also some way to deter other players from just waiting by the body to kill the EMT player when they show up. If not, they could at least let players be EMTs for NPCs that get killed. Maybe have a minigame where you try to revive them, and if you can't, then you have to stretcher them to an ambulance and drive them to a hospital.

Interesting to note that all the cars in Simeon's Premium Deluxe Motorsport for Doomsday week were removed cars that were introduced with the Doomsday update (1.42). Meanwhile the only removed car from the original Heists update that can't be stolen off the street is the Dinka Enduro, and I think the Lost Slamvan although I don't remember ever being able to purchase or store it. I'm curious what cars they'll choose. Would be neat to finally see the Lost Slamvan available for purchase, since it has only been obtainable through extreme luck on the casino wheel.
Regardless, any car can be bought if you enter a lobby with someone who has it and is willing to bring it to LSCM.

They're basing this on the cycle of the moon in the preview picture of the GTAO december update, which sounds schizo but apparently the first trailer matched up with the moon cycle in some other GTAO picture. Does anyone fuck around with putting low grip tires on cars? I tried it before the actual drift tuning update, and I always spin out. The only car I could ever somewhat drift in with low grip tires was the Intruder, a car you can find off the street. I watched tutorials and shit but could never get good. The tutorials said to stay in certain gears though, which you can only do by ear since the cars are automatic and don't say which gear they're in. I suppose it's obsolete now that drift tuning is available, but it's a shame they can't allow drift tuning to be applied for any RWD car.

You know there's modders fucking around lagging the lobby when you get this shit for a minute straight. One way to get around it is to open resmon.exe and suspend gta5.exe for about 10 seconds then resume it. It will say everyone left but will make it load. Useful if you were doing a setup mission or something when the infinite loading happened.

GTA's worlds have always been anachronistic because if the cops had even half the tools and tactics available to them that they do in real life we wouldn't be able to get rid of anything.
The idea you can just run a few blocks down the road from a shooting spree and the cops will stop chasing you is laughable. In real life they'd be tracking the origin of every bullet casing and poring over security footage (HD security cameras have been ubiquitous for 15 years) to build a profile, and then put an APB out for our character. We'd have 3 star wanted levels every time we stepped outside.

The LSPD's equipment like that is pretty on the mark for 2013. It's outdated now, but that's because 2013 was 12 years ago. Back then, cops were using Beretta pistols for basic patrol use with Mossberg shotguns and AR15s for special duty. I think nowadays they're using SIG pistols and Beretta semiauto shotguns. The Taurii and Crown Vics have all been replaced with Explorers.

They're not walking around with a rifle strung on their back, and they're not whipping it out to make an arrest for public indecency. They do use them when they're on the scene. The game is programmed to start replacing them with NOOSE officers pretty quickly from 3 stars onwards so only the cops already on the scene have a chance to whip them out.

Make 1 star work like in the older Mafia games where the cops will just stop and ticket you.
2 star is when they start trying to arrest, using tasers and clubs to stop you.
3 star they start shooting and call in the helicopter.

Oh we know, this has been a problem for years, but usually it gets better on Thursday after the patches roll out and anti-cheat is beefed up. Be glad or play solo, that lobby was infected anyway with cheater scum. Not like you can work in there in peace.
Rockstars fault though:
If loading takes to long they should connect joining players to different P2P servers. And to escalate this. If a server cannot be joined anymore the script and session hosts should be kicked because they are tampering with incoming other players. As always the solutions are SO FUCKING EASY.

Since CEO office dropped I bought a buzzard to spawn the free any place on the map right next to me when registered. That was since June 2016.
The Sparrow is just a better Buzzard with less health and more speed.
Anon we all are lucky these days. My greatest worry is that GTA 6 might remove some of our freedoms again because they were too overpowered. I will not miss the Opressor but if they take the Sparrow it is so over. Also that R* are masters at making things obsolete will be a pain in GTA 6. Just think about all the stuff you bought in V that you will never use again because other stuff rendered it useless.

Yes, the only upgrade I would keep would be bullet proof tires and even those I would downgrade to bullet resistant (pop at maybe 20-30 bullets by cops).
One thing I would love to see would be picrel.
To make escaping more challenging and to force players to use their brains in order to evade them.
That means, take smaller side roads. All main roads would be kill zones where the cops take literal shits at you.
I mean it is not really a big ask to have players avoid highways when having 4-5 stars.

Didn't he illegally immigrate from Canada? Been a while since I played the story so I'm probably confused. Also Trevor is seemingly supposed to be the anarchist type, so him not caring about illegal immigration wouldn't surprise me. He also fucks men in the ass, or it was at least heavily alluded to in the story.
Regardless, Rockstar did do some faggy shit like change the flags in Sandy Shores from confederate flags to American flags. I don't get why the sight of the confederate flag is so bad, especially when it's in a trailer park, but I'm not a PR worker.
Also when they reintroduced Yusif Amir in the Chop Shop update, he now says homie instead saying of nigga like he did in GTA IV. I thought the point of it in IV was supposed to be that he was socially retarded or whatever. It's also weird when you consider Jimmy says nigga in single player, although that was 10 years ago.
Regardless, it doesn't affect the gameplay so I don't care too much. Just hope they don't go full woke in GTA6.

There is one that spawns every in-game evening, as an homage to Thelma and Louise. You have to be a distance away, and looking the other direction. Then you have only a few seconds to snipe the drive to make sure they don't drive the car off the cliff. Steal the car and it's yours.

You can also force a spawn at that gas station near the gate to the military base. You have to already be driving a mariachi tornado to seed the spawn. The seed car can probably be one from those payphone hits.

You could also just get lazy and buy a copy from LS off someone that has it.

I like the rusted Albany Emperor. I gave mine dark green matte paint in attempt to recreate the shitmobile from Trailer Park Boys. Use the interaction menu to open the passenger door, reverse and break it off something, and it's good to go.

Could have done better on large warehouses. Some places were conscious decisions for panorama view. I do recommend that agency for the view over vespucci canals and the CEO office for del perro pier. The CEO garage also has the nicest sunsets.

I think the problem with modern car design is they feel like they're designed with 3D modelers instead of concept hand sketches, which takes away from the soul of it. Like it was designed by a robot and not a human. I'm no artist nor designer though so I could be completely wrong. Also with everything modern being plastic, it probably leads to an increase in retarded shapes compared to metal cars. So many jarring jagged plastic edges sticking out everywhere instead of a smooth consistent metal design.

Yeah, and it doesn't even make sense. Like, why would there be dye packs mixed in with vault cash? Get rid of those out of the equation though and pretty much all you're left with as far as setup goes is the thermal charges and bikes. The bikes themselves are shit and Lester does a terrible job of placing them for the getaway. The thermal charges are in a tiny little case, and yet you have to drive a big slow truck to Paige to deliver them. Hard to believe this used to be the go-to money grind.

Steam has now native controller support even if you don't use it for GTA because you may only have the R* launcher.
That Steam's drivers will be clean goes without say. Native support needs to be toggled in options. Can probably add it as 3rd party game.

There's only like two cutscenes, and the one at the studio can be skipped by changing your crew during it. The one at the airport isn't really that long, and I usually run that whole mission muted anyway so it's easy to ignore while I browse my phone for a couple minutes.
Not that I replay the whole thing anyway these days. Just the finale, once a day before I log off, to pad the old bank account a bit.

That flew over my head all these years. I never fully pieced together how the main game and online overlap in order of events.
Had they figured it out all from the start it would be insane to play either and hear on the news what the online crew did in singleplayer.
Splinter Cell 3 had online coop, not the spies vs mercs. The other splinter cell operatives. During 1 mission you meet your online team in singleplayer and vice versa. Blew my mind back then how nice you could story tell if you come up with a timeline of events before release.
Imagine if the singleplayer of VI would tease all future GTAO2 DLC before they release, since the team still works on them.

I get once per session that my entire rank counts backwards and in the overlay I can see what the endpoint is. Now it happened in a solo session to me. The fuck, why isn't it an NSX Mk1? I get in GTA SA the Jester was a Supra Mk4, but that was seemingly thrown out the window when they made it a completely different brand and model in GTA V. I guess it's because the Mk5 Supra (added later as Jester RR) wasn't released until like 2019 so there was no modern one at the time, but still. Anyway, GTA 6 better have the fuckin NSX Mk1. Also drift tuning in singleplayer with drift races as side missions.

If you're in free aim mode, try switching to fully assisted aiming. Might seem like a backwards suggestion since you'd probably expect people in aim assisted lobbies to be trash, but for some reason I find people in assisted aiming lobbies to be more experienced with the game so they don't fuck up as much. They're generally way higher level than the free aim lobbies too. It's weird. The downside is aim assisted lobbies seem to have more modders.

I don't like being forced to do 10 minutes of terrible improv without being able to play the actual game. I wish there was a vanilla+ FiveM server which just gets rid of the more annoying things in GTAO, like advanced handling flags, vehicle prices not making any sense and original heists paying like shit even on double money. It's possible it already exists and I haven't found it yet, though.

Was trying to take a cheeky selfie with a beach chick and somehow only just noticed GTA V actually has tit physics on NPCs. Webm related might look like it could just be an animation, but before I started recording I noticed the tit physics when she got off a phonecall and it definitely didn't look like an animation. Shame our online characters don't have them, and are locked to one tit size.

Nice. Love the Futo for cruising around the city. Don't even really need hand brake for cornering, I find just letting off the gas and turning then hitting the gas works well. Works for certain other cars too, but seems best with the Futo.

Is it only GTAO that does that? Sounds like a really odd issue. I'd say maybe look up port forwarding GTA Online for your router, although that never helped me escape my NAT being medium.

Weird, GTA shouldn't have a process still running after you close it, assuming that's what is happening. Have you tried verifying the game file integrity? If using Rockstar Launcher, it's in settings>gta. If using steam I think you right click the game and go to properties and do it from there.

I've definitely earned most of my money from heists, but in terms of businesses, nightclub is the only one I've earned over 10 mil in. I don't really do it much anymore with Cayo available. Also going on call and put into a heist with hosts that pay a fuck ton. I try to be careful with that last one though.

This bug's been appearing for years now and it still hasn't been fixed. I even started the heist in a private lobby with everyone in my organization, just to minimize the odds.

I've been replaying GTAV and I honestly kinda like Trevor as a character. He is not likable or even believable as a human being but his irreverent devil-may-care attitude and his perpetual angry scowl make him a good GTA protagonist.

I dress him up in military themed clothes and he's perfect fit for comparatively low-stakes criminal endeavours in the desert.

This gets me thinking. One of the worst mistakes they made was making Crews only accessible through the social club website. I can guarantee this is the main reason everyone has tunnelled off into their own isolated experience rather than playing and cooperating with friends. Because trying to make friends ingame is too much of a hassle.
They could've integrated that stuff in-game by making crew invites and messages available in-game. Imagine if you could pull up the LifeInvader app on your character's mobile, browse crew invites, and join/leave right there from the game.

There are but they're too tight and too short. The pantleg should flow as perfectly as possible into the shoes. The only allowance being a slight 'dent' at the front where the bottom of the leg makes slight contact with the top of the shoe.

I think it's ~$120k for the daily target and ~$40k for the infinite repeatable targets. You can also hire 2 employees who do some jobs on the side and fill the your safe, though you'll probably never recoup the money those employees costs you upfront.

I'm going off old youtube video knowledge since I refuse to buy that shit unless it goes on sale someday, because the money is pretty pathetic.

Man I was replaying GTAV singleplayer today and almost cummed doing that mission where you scope out the Docks as Trevor with Wade and Floyd because you get to drive the container hander and then use use the big crane as well. Absolute fanservice, Rockstar knows or at least very much knew what they were doing. I hope GTA6 will have that sort of fun worksite minigames as well.

Been too busy playing Stalker 2 to post. The game is good if you were a fan of the old ones, Unreal Engine brings some eye candy. Feels oddly bug free for most of it. Bit wonky and dated animations but I don't care.

I just opened the site for the first time on my phone and I'm now realizing because of how ugly both fonts are at normal size, the site looks like it was made for a grandpa. Such gigantic texts...
Looks fine on my desktop cause there's so much empty space.
One thing I might have to hunt down is a way to make the pictures open in the same page, then you click away to close it, maybe even a way to load the next picture and previous picture.
I half-watched a flex tutorial and I figured out how to reverse the order of the pictures without having to touch the code for them, it's as simple as just adding a -reverse to a css line.
Wild how much easier it is to make stuff now, in my mind I was thinking I would have to manually re-order the pictures, line by line.

That is why CSS is without alternative. CSS loads the content and scales it to the DPI of the device so with CSS it looks the same on any display.

Thank you for the link, it actually helped cause it has been ingrained in me that font-size is always by pixel, so good to know that I can move away from it.
The problem really is the fonts I picked. The GTA font is just unreadable at small sizes and the pixel font gets wonky if you make it any smaller - some letters become bigger than others, makes it look like I typed everything like a SpOnGE BoB mEmE.
Changing away px was literally painless and everything looks the same, which is good.
Right now I'm taking screenshots for the guide, I'll give a more thorough read later.

Sounds good you want to at least try. HTML and CSS is not all that difficult. You just need to know what ems, rems and percentages do and that you can link CSS rules to HTML elements.
But I guess you already knew your way around and just needed a quick rundown.

Yeah I love that they always get cocky. Delayed bans always were better in games that are not part of some league like CS.GO2. Keeps them wondering what tipped them off and the frustration is greater losing it all over again and again.

It's up, super brain dead, I doubt someone can fuck it up.
I took a break and after I came back I realized the example I used to crop a picture is literally the only picture that barely had any overflow to the other spots.
Literally any other picture would have been a better example...

Yeah. The PCH doesn't go down to two lanes until a mile or so down the road, and it doesn't do it in the middle of an intersection. Notice how in GTA the Bay City Incline also has two marked lanes on the 'inbound' section even though the GOH only has one turning lane and the actual Incline itself also only has one uphill lane. The roads in-game are filled with all sorts of nonsense like that.
