It does apply to melee weapons tho: it substantially boosts their damage and carries over most augment effects to them (ex lifesteal, melee hits refill ammo, etc).

And yeah the GS45's kick/centering speed is weirdly floaty, almost like it's playing in slow-motion sometimes. In MP it damn near gave me motion sickness until I tweaked my attachments to improve it.

Rapid Fire and Ported Compensator, actually.
I found that the slightly higher RoF helped lessen the "centering speed tries to kick in between shots" effect the gun seemed to be doing.

In trying to figure out what to put on my paddles I've realized it makes no fucking sense to dedicate either throwable to one of the primary input buttons because you only get one of each per life (normally). So, I've put each of them on L3 and R3, while I've put jump on R1 and stance on R2 and melee on R4, because those are inputs you always have access to at all times and I find the paddles slightly less awkward to press than the stick buttons (I find moving the stick while also clicking it...I dunno, it's not optimal).

Maybe it's because I grew up poor but maaan I can not wrap my head around buying skins. I have friends who easily spent 5000+ USD on League of Legends skins and they always try to justify it by some out of this world mental gymnastics. That whole WaW-BO2 era was a mix of ass and real kino. BO2 IS goated if you take tranzit out but the stand alone maps had great potential in 2012 after bloated shit like moon in BO1. Running farm or town was fun but the entire map was a bust when you put it together, had to have some real easter egg nerd rando do the heavy lifting for a team of randos I was in back in the day and we barely pulled it off. Objectively BO1 had a real collection of shit maps if you didn't bother with easter eggs and an entire year of DLC goes by and I still mained kino and der riese cause WaW maps before der riese are limited and after ascencion they just get flashy. Mob was the peak of level design/easter egg design where you got most replay out of any map for zombies in any COD hands down. Buried was like the depressing hangover knowing zombies peaked, origins was just black ops 3 beta map and only autists imo really cared about understanding that map by then back in the day. Golden era COD was on its deathbed.

There's calling cards for finishing every reticle for a mode.
Also as a nice bonus, every extra final reticle you finish after the 33rd re-triggers the 25k XP. Granted there's only 34 optics rn but I'd bet the Reloaded sniper will add one or two more.

Seems like round cap 15 is better for Afterlife.
There's 44 zombies per round, no mangler and if you save & quit until you skip the stupid vermin round then there's no vermin raping you from behind either.
Only possible downside is you need purple pap 2 guns to deal with the armored zombies fast, so it's slightly more expensive early on.

The one that gives you more damage mitigation. Works especially well with the major that stuns zombies on armor break because they'll break more often for the stun but you'll take overall less health damage.
The one that increases plate durability kind of sucks because your armor might not break but you'll be taking a ton of health damage and could die before losing all your plates.

The dive/slide explosion has pretty much always been a joke attack in all but the very rare areas where you can dive down a whole flight of stairs, the perk's "real purpose" is that it gives immunity to explosion self-damage.
The "tac sprint tackles zombies out of the way" augment is also pretty neat.

If you don't progress the EE, rounds just loop, so you get XP, gums, essence, etc., without the zombie health or speed increasing

the latest "update" has fucked up my graphics for some reason
suddenly wallbuys are extremely blurry at all ranges, textures are not loading and blurry as fuck. I had no issue running everything on high/ultra before today but suddenly now it's fucked and I have no idea what's going on, my FPS has also tanked by a solid 100 fps going from 120-140 to around 40

but playing it for a while, it actually is amazing. like, theyve completely integrated movement in with third person and first person animations so tight that when you go back to even MW3 it feels fucking stiff and janky.

the carrying of momentum, vaulting in any direction and stuff, it's all super nice.

before, sliding felt artificial, like you had a set movement speed for a slide. now, it feels like youre actually carrying your momentum accurately

I used it a bunch in mw3 but I don’t think the blops 6 maps lend themselves to it very well because even in small maps there’s still a bunch of wide open spaces where you’re mostly shooting at mid range. I was looking forward to unlocking the tac laser to start doing it with my C9 and Jackal, but the opportunity to use it effectively really never comes up.

In mw3 I liked to get overkill and have an AR/battle rifle as my main and an SMG in tac stance for when I’m walking around a narrow lane, but I can’t think of any map where this approach would be useful in the new game. Maybe in Pit or Safehouse? But even then hip firing just seems like the better choice.

I dont understand the hatred for the og mw3. Loved this game back then although I do admit it had serious issues with gun balance in mp. But gameplay and maps, and that's what matters the most, were near perfect. In retrospect I consider it to be the 2nd best golden age cod. But in retrospect. At the time it would've been harder to discern that. Most aged poorly, that's not the case of mw3. It should be what the reboot strive for but it's never going back because a world war 3 game blowing up the Eiffel Tower would be considered shocking.

Mutant injector is just better because zombies will still keep coming after you, especially if you're solo. I failed an exfil once solo with a chopper gunner because the last enemy was an abomination and decided to walk away from the exfil and my chopper gunner couldn't reach it. Didn't kill it in time.

Omnimovement is maybe nice in zombies, but it's definitely awful in everything else.

"It feels nice" no shit. A system with wallriding and gliders and double jumps and rocket boosts and infinite fast rolls with i-frames would feel amazing for the person doing it. But it would play like shit.

BO6 feels great and plays like shit. They fucked with the formula and it's not a good change.

The XP reward for finishing all three of your dailies for a mode goes up the higher your prestige is.
At Prestige 1 it goes from 3k to 5k, then iirc at like Prestige 6 it goes up to 7.5k.
Also every time you hit Level 20 in a Prestige you get a 1-hour token for Profile and Weapon XP.
Besides that, each Prestige unlocks 6 new calling card challenges for each mode that all award ~3-6k XP each, plus three "finished all 6 challenges in a set" cards that give 20k.

TLDR there's no bonus multiplier to XP for Prestiging, but each Prestige gives you a handful of sources for one-off or once-daily bonus XP to help you re-level faster.

Play Directed Mode, complete EE objectives until you're at the desired Round Cap (iirc on Liberty it caps to Round 11 when you've gathered all the Thrustodyne parts but haven't built it yet), then stop doing objectives.
As long as you stop doing objectives at your desired round cap, the capped round will repeat every time you clear it (there'll be a brief ~20-30 second break between when you kill the last zombie of the previous "round" and when the next "round" starts).
You can even Save + Quit while repeating a round over and over, as clearing a "round" then waiting for it to repeat counts for re-enabling Save.

Just bring back Filmic SMAA T2 from MW19/Cold War, they made the image blurry but very stable without dithering. I applied sharpening filter to both games and they were fine.

The bug has been "solved" from what I read looking around for info on it.
Apparently, bank vault/armory loot count as "from the box", so on top of getting every gun from the box you also need to get the knife and bat from loot keys.

No, double XP tokens don't boost any challenge-related XP rewards.
They only boost "action XP" (killed a guy, flashbanged a guy, sat on the hardpoint, etc) and iirc the "didn't ragequit!" end-of-match XP bonus.

The game is so close to being the best cod since BO2 but the maps are so shit.
They need to spend 3 or 4 straight seasons of adding new and remade mid range maps.
Also the game needs a 3v3 or 4v4 playlist, would alleviate a lot of the issues with the tiny maps

What's the best way to farm elites in directed?
Currently I'm summoning elites at the graveyard, running inside the church, training and cleaning up zombies with the jet gun until the mangler makes its way inside, finish, repeat.
Also you can save & quit until you get elite manglers. Those are much faster to deal with.

It seems like it'd be faster to just start blasting at the Elite as soon as it spawns in the graveyard. As long as your gun is at least like PaP 2 Blue it should chew through any zombies that get in the way during the fight.
The only reason I can think to spend that extra time training them to kill them all with the jetgun first is if you're also trying to chip away at the "10k kills with a wonder weapon" challenge and don't want your guns stealing the kills.

Got my zombies coomer calling card today from amalgams, I fucked up and killed one from round 16 when 19 rolled around but then remembered someone said you can clone them if you kill all zombies but the amalgam in a round. Cleared out round 19 then saved with 19's amalgam alive and when I loaded back up there were 3 of them but I managed, was pretty intense though cause I only had a once pap'd purple SMG and my twice pap'd launcher. Camos going okay too considering I started them only recently, 2 more for AR opal.

I used a stopwatch to get the time between LTG activations and both strats take about a minute. The only problem with farming elites outside is sometimes the last zombie spawns inside the church or somewhere far away and that takes your round completion to roughly 1 min 30 sec

Basically yes. I used an insta kill gum too just in case cause I read it still counts. I'm not sure explosive pap weapons will work cause it might possibly count one as splash damage or something so I'd suggest a launcher. Pap'd twice and either uncommon or rare level with insta kill after whiffing them down to a sliver of health. If you want to clone then you can do it on round 16 already, kill all zombies but the amalgam then save and reload. Someone said you might get a bug round next (I didn't, I got a regular round) but should get a zombie round with 2 of them after that.

At launch it was shit because it only did 20% health per tick but they bumped it up to 45% and it takes out hordes of zombies with ease. You can definitely get more kills per use out of it compared to something like the energy mine, especially with the extended duration augment.

Why do Treyarch fans consistently defend bad decisions? The weapons in this game lack variety and are ugly, but no one talks about it. Why are there only two shotguns? Why do two of the pistols look the same and another is completely useless? The challenges for some of the camos are tedious to the point of frustration. (looking at you cigma direct impacts) The TTK is faster than Cold War which was fairly good with its TTK after they realized BO4 was too slow on top of the other nonsense in that game, but now we're being deleted faster than we can react and there's no counterplay. The maps blow chunks but somehow it's OK because we have maps the size of cardboard boxes to grind camos in and you shouldn't worry about good maps actually. People love omni-movement but can't see it's faults, like how you can't pull sideways/back on your stick to cancel sprinting or that if you don't come to a complete stop you can't go prone or else you'll dive like some action movie retard. Everything about BO6 makes me despise it but people act as if it's the best CoD since OG MW2. How? Genuinely how?

I strongly disagree, the XMG is easily my favorite gun in the game, and having used the other two for challenges and to fuck around, I would argue the LMGs are the most balanced weapon class in the sense that each one has a reason to be used.
With the PU and the GPMG, you probably want recoil springs. You can get away without them on the XMG because it has the lowest fire rate and overall recoil, but I do agree the other two can be unweildy without tuning

It’s not environmental heat sources, I throw a smoke in the same spot and can see through it just fine. Anyone else throws a smoke, the smoke is red hot for its duration.

Every time the shaders need to cache again, I need to go into a match (can be a private match), exit the match back to main menu, manually reset shader loading, and then restart the game to get the shader cache to start building. Sometimes I need to do this once or twice for it to work.

To simplify it, MW19 heavily punished rushing, Cold War was way more forgivable in that regard. Cold War is a more refined version of BO4 while MW19 is just it's own thing and the reason why it's still controversial and still dividing the CoD community

I don't think it's a teammate issue as much as it feels like the skill ceiling is lower and you're just bound to get traded out or run out of ammo with no time to reload eventually. You notice teammates more because you need to rely on them more.

You might be having a brain failure, because you can flip between tac stance and sights even with the laser attached to your gun. It defaults to the sights and you have to switch to tac stance, after doing which it 'remembers' that for the rest of the round if you don't change loadout. The laser is active (ie visible at the hip) regardless of whether you're in ADS mode or tac stance mode.
