That's extremely outdated. It's not. You have piss easy mode on global since launch AND a much higher level cap than you should have with the available content. Stats are everything in this game, so that matters a fuckton.

Just to put this into perspective, launch was lvl 90 cap, and the final boss had a border of 320, aka if your stats are below that you are dealing no real damage and if you are well below that you get oneshot (basically any S). You also had much worse shit to play with. Initially chapter 3 only had ONE SS that could hit a weakness (Monaka, very thematically fitting, she launched with it).

So, you have 30 more levels (aka ~50 more stats at the very least) AND the first nerf already lowered the border to 260. It was nerfed another time, notably the entire game was: They removed most resistances to slash/pierce/blunt. Anything that was hard at some point wasn't past this nerf, but with a grand total of 3 additional level cap increases this isn't even worth talking about anymore. Which is a shame.

Same goes for everything else past ch3 really. The biggest issue you'll have is if you concentrate too much on one team, but the difficulty is so low, you'll likely not really have much issues no matter what.
Endgame is a different story though.

Does this work? Had a question in the last thread about the rerolling. Someone mentioned that it's because of skill transfering is that all? Should I pick Tama, Roll for Seika and hopefully get something else usefull?

I like the combat against bosses primarily. Against mobs it's boring but the mechanics are surprisingly fun.
Translation is hit or miss. Feels like different people working on different characters/main story/side stories. Can go from using honorifics in text to some weird ass "Witchy" instead of Tennen for nicknames.

That one was really baffling, she gets mad at tennen because it also means airhead, and they went with witchy which doesn't keep the wordplay and doesn't have the insult. The inconsistency annoys me the most. If they just trannylated everything I would understand, but they do have proper translation here and there and then some shit is jelly donuts tier. It's not. The damage reduction when your stats are lower than the enemy's is exponential. Every point matters.
In the endgame whale dick contests, at least. You don't need to worry about it too much for the story
But you should get every character that you have SS+SS or SS+S of to at least +1 for the extra skill.

Her current SS is already decent. She heals as a proper healer and also gives charge.
Charge is like a small crit buff you can't stack. It may seem weak, but it can be useful because
1. If you're a Seikalet, it allows you to only cast crit orb once, which removes most of the clunkiness of using crit orbs.
2. If you have Seika, it allows you to go faster in some scenarios by reaching full crit from Mion+Seika ult, if you don't need her 2nd damage buff for bigger damage.
She will also get a decent ult upgrade in the future and a nice utility skill.

The bonus is just because this game is new. JP doesn't do a bonus for new events, only a rotating bonus for old events for new players.
SA (or SC here?) give a huge chunk of event coins in exchange. Last one apparently gave out a total of 5500 based on doing the challenge missions (clear 91+ aka easy) and high score (180k so rather low as well).

[Good News] The game works perfectly on steam deck with gamepad controls + track pads for mouse and even the touch screen, just add as non steam game and launch the installer exe with Proton Experimental and then change to the game exe after installation.

If you have issues with the install process the best way to fix that is to check your Heaven Burns Red folder for a .tmp file. The folder is located in /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata and whatever is the first folder when sorted by new. Open it and extract the files to that folder then delete the .tmp folder. All the install process is doing is extracting that file.

I guess because its not the Steam version it doesnt have the anti cheat that usually bricks linux.

3x sss uncap material is 1.5k, then there's 5 tickets at 300 as well, so another 1.5k, and then there's usually some good extra stuff that you might as well get it from there.
The S tokens are pretty handy as well, one fully uncapped S can be almost as good as a SS.

There was a theory that they had one team of translators at the beginning, then they switched to another team halfway through, and that team just didn't manage to fix everything in time. There are still remnants of the initial translation choices everywhere. For example, if you look at Megumi's profile on the loading screen, it still says she's Chosen One, which was their original retarded translation for 救世主 until people bullied them into changing it to Savior, because that's actually important.

Arknight has some cool worldbuilding but yeah - the writing in itself is pretty fucking bad. There is a reason people only ever praise Frostnova/Patriot and nothing else.
Also: The VN-dialogue system in that game is pretty fucking bad. Somehow makes old-ass FGO look competent.

Yeah I've heard the "worldbuilding is really good actually" line a lot but it feels more like there's so much bullshit thrown at you that eventually they simply have to scrape together some kind of greater world development.
