Some enemy attacks deal damage that VIT resists more, while others deal damage that SPR resists more. It's similar to how some of your attacks scale more with STR than DEX while others are the other way around (plus a few funny exceptions). Yes, the game is retarded obtuse about this.

It feels like this year is going to be the gacha renaissance (true). First Wizardry Daphne is the best drpg I've ever played, now this is a fantastic VN with a unique turn based combat. If some of the new gachas are as good as they look I might have to make some hard decisions. Idk if Azur promillia will be for me though.

What the fuck does some buffs even do? I got a girl with the "invigoration" buff to allies, and it gives them a burning eyes buff for 2 turns, now, what does that do? I have no idea.

You are unlucky the game launched when it did. A few months later and they could've given you the new version that's currently just a week old. It explains.
Not everything (i.e. the way border works), but enough.

As a rule of thumb everything compares to the enemy stat, unless it affects your own chars, then you can ignore stat scaling as max level chars will always get the max value (unless debuffed, some enemies can debuff wis by 80% or so which fucks especially healing hard).

The only game that I know of that managed to shorten the gap without eosing was Another Eden. It's usually a death sentence because they rush without accounting for it by increasing the pull currency.

I actually kind of like the idea of the combat system, but the animation, sfx cues and lack of information on numbers really messed it up. If it was on the level of HSR this system can be pretty engaging.

They get an auto function later so you still have to do them but don't have to pay attention, and you can also use up to 5 life/tickets for a single run which acts as a multiplier on your loot and for missions so that doing one counts as 5. The dungeons in general also get way smaller, and they stop forcing bad ones into the main story. They also start introducing more 3D open field style dungeons into the main story (like https://youtu.be/LKsHrHeRmpQ )

The chapter 3 dungeon before the thing with Kura is the single worst dungeon you'll ever see in the game, thankfully.

Fire Tama is actually pretty useful because she can buff and heal at the same time and a lot of the high difficulty content has hard turn limits.

And there's a bunch of stuff listed there just because the're defaults and you can use their ultimates on alts. That Tennen is the single best damage dealer in the game.

And I don't know why summer Yuki is there, she's one of the best breakers.

The real Ruka went to fly a kite on a cliff by the beach and the wind pulled her off and she drowned and her pet alien slime became a copy of her because it was sad that her mother kept crying but a few years later the mother finds out and jumps off the same cliff. This made the alien doppelganger sad and she erased her own memories. You are playing as the alien doppelganger, and all the Seraph users are also alien doppelgangers of long-dead people. That's why Seraph users are forbidden from fraternizing with the dome humans, because the humans might see a dead person they know displaced in time. This becomes a story point later when Megumi meets her mother who's now like 90 years old, and Miya meets her twin sister who is 50 or so. The aliens copy memories perfectly too and are not aware that they're copies.

I'd like to say it doesn't matter, but then I look at steam achievements, when 33% cleared ch3 (aka quite a bit into the game), only 9% cleared the beginning (day 3) of the latest chapter that has been released in February this year.

Events are all very easy though, other than maybe some optional boss'.

For someone with an endgame account, it's generally REALLY easy though, but I also know how to play the game. Unfortunately that's where the game struggles the most. People want to auto everything and that is a big no go.

Accelerated releases for chapters and events and they already included some extra features that came 2 years later in the launch version.

Gacha is lenient but the main story is infamously high difficulty and you need to understand the battle system and have proper synergy to beat a bunch of bosses. Randomly doing the gacha will not make the game easier to any significant degree if you don't have a proper working balanced party. You could look up S tier characters and roll to max LB them and the bosses will steamroll you.

But the people who used to know her called her Captain Tama which is respectful so she doesnt want to tell them to stop. But she isnt on a ship anymore so theres no point in calling her Captain anymore, so Ruka calls her Otama, since adding an O is a way to politely call something too, which is playful in a sense and got translated to Cappy also otama means eggs

This whole joke gets kind of messed up in the localization because the girl calls her Hot Tamale instead which is a nickname and not what was actually being said. Anyway I think that covers most of it or maybe I just made it all up

You get 70 stones near the end of chapter 1 and another 100 not much later. You can't actually stack them beyond 99, so the surplus will go in your gift box. It's plenty enough for any sort of grinding, so do the bond events. They're generally excellent and only get better as you go along.

On the team rec (EN) page it puts Yingxia (S) on every single recommended team, but she doesn't even appear on the tier list (EN) at all. Also I only have 5 SS characters so how is any of this supposed to be helpful anyway? I don't have them so I can't make those teams.
What's the actual general strategy?
Should I just select two of the highest tier buffers I have, then the highest tier healer, then the remaining should be damagers?

She got crippled in chapter 5-1 so she's shit (stats and skills capped at A rarity tier shit) in gameplay and then she's kidnapped and forced to sit out the entire final dungeon and all of the bosses including the chapter boss which was the toughest one yet.

She comes back at the end but the thing which crippled her wasn't resolved meaning she's probably still going to be shit in 5-2. And it's a pretty important plot point and 5-2 seems to be about Karen, so they might drag this on till the end of 5-3.

The way it works is that you're plain not allowed to use the good skills meaning she's just useless in battle, and for the final dungeon you're not allowed to use her at all. This applies to ALL styles so it doesn't matter what versions of her you have, they're all fucked.

Ultimates for default styles can be used on alts, and while alts can't share their ultimates some of their regular skills can make a huge difference like sometimes only a certain style for a character will have a heal, or have a blaster skill despite being an attacker, or have a certain status effect or buff or debuff. More options is never bad.

Tsukasa is super buff for whole party
You WILL need separate people for DP damage and HP damage so there's no point in having only Seika there's literally not enough uses from her unique
With swimsuit Tsukasa just get someone separate for crit buffs and you oneshot the DP and then oneshot the HP

I maxed everything in JP ages ago so I don't remember but they do add more options far later (like chapter 3 or something). You don't have to max everything immediately, but if you can spend LP to raise a stat that isn't maxed it's worth it because you need them for character events later on in the story
