Because there are other great vault tracks and you only get one item from the vault no matter how many tracks you fill. The Delve track also caps at 616. If you aren’t going over that on the other tracks anyway, the fuck are you gearing up for?

Prior to setting out to investigate the strange sightings at Blackrock Spire, I made a detour toward the dwarven capital of Ironforge. Cacophanous clangs and loud workman's chants resound across the vast halls of the stout and industrious dwarves, as the times of peace and prosperity have given these people the opportunities to finally gather their efforts and resources toward major undertakings. News - both gossip and official - flow through the population as so many gallons of beer and mead. Soon the dwarven clans will venture out in force over their mountains and strike the earth with the full ferocity of their pioneers' spirits, and fulfill their dreams of new mountainhomes and living space for future generations.

Of course I wish them the very best, but that is not why I am here. After trading a king's ransom of elementium prospector charts of the Twilight Highlands at the Ironforge auction house, I was able to afford a new set of dwarven-made wargear, which should greatly improve my chances of enduring the trials ahead in the dark depths of Blackrock Mountain. In addition to this exchange, I was curious to see if I could find one of my comrade's in arms, the old medivacuation machine pilot Hollon Gnometinker. Though I would have been glad to simply reminisce with the old coot, his expertise would have been invaluable in my mission. Alas, I heard from one of his colleagues that he seems to have gone on an expedition to Northrend for some time on an "adventure into the afterlife", whatever the hell that means. I pray that he is well and safe, but it appears that I will have to continue my quest on my own.

Honestly I don't disagree. WoW already did away with skin tones matching to specific locales in the world so dark rangers only being made up of paper white skin elves really only makes sense if the magic of undeath is causing their skin to become that color even if they were say brown/tan in life. As far as customization options goes though I'm sure its low on the list. Outside of a few rare instances I basically never see black/brown characters with the curly or dreaded hair styles.

Max used to be so happy to buy me every mount and pet that appeared in the shop because he saw it made me as happy as he’s able to make my wife (and he’s such a cool dude, and makes a lot of money with his cool job,andhe works out), but the brutosaur mount added to the shop made him change his tune.

He took me out to get ice cream yesterday in his new Porsche and explained his thinking process (he got me an extra scoop of chocolate). “I know you want all of those cosmetic bundles, but this is more important than mounts. It’s about taking a stand with the World of Warcraft community. You can’t just be a bystander while they fight for what’s right!”

I joked with him that I am regularly a bystander whenever he’s intimate with my wife (every day and night for HOURS while I watch through a crack in the closet door). He laughed. He looked down at me (he’s 6’8”) and gave me a smile. “I wouldn’t have it any other way”. He winked.

He's so cool.

As we drove back home (I sat in the backseat) I thought about what Max had said and it resonated with me. I also realized:

“Wait a minute… if Max stops buying me cosmetics in World of Warcraft, maybe he’d be willing to buy me more ice cream! And, if I’m spending less time playing my earthern Dwarf (this is my 24th race change purchase this month), I’ll have more time to spend watching him please my wife!”

All this is to say…do not let this die, do not let this be forgotten!

Timing 10s isn't really a big deal. And the rewards are fine. You don't even need myth-tracked gear to time +2 10s. (((Casuals))) want just the gear, for whatever reason, you can faceroll anything outside a mythic dungeon with those welfare pieces you can get from vendors.

How did mage go from the only fucking class that got to do aoe damage in vanilla to this. Frost only hits two things at a time with lance and spike spam (frozen orb and blizzard do fucking nothing). Arcane's explosion and barrage shit does actual tank damage. Fire isn't even a real spec and half it's talents are for a spell so nerfed it's a clear sign from the devs that they just don't want you playing it until they rework it.

Today I acquired the Mawsworn Charger by doing all the weird maximum point stuff for all the main floors of Torghast at level 12. How did you feel about Torghast when it was relevant content? I only did it at the very start of Shadowlands so a lot of the QoL things or general additions they added were stuff I never got to see. I'm having a hard time judging it currently given it was just walking back into there to one shot everything.

That's so fucking funny, that's the quality they give you with Warcraft 30th Anniversary and it's another fuck up from a couple of years ago.

Player Housing is an evergreen feature intended to be expanded throughout patches and expansions.

So after getting tired of all the DPS ques and getting KSH on 2 dps I wanted to try tank out and ended up on blood dk, It's really fun might be my new main from now on but holy shit buff it man. Being paper thin having no real defensives just really having bone shield and DS and praying on parry. On top of having super low dmg there's no real reason to inv one or play one currently

I'm sorry to hear that. While I didn't loose someone my guild from vanilla did die at the start of bfa. It really sucked no longer having the regular people to play with.
I took a few patches off and just started fresh on a new server. Joined some casual heroic guild that kills a few mythic bosses. Only expected to see the end of bfa but i'm still with them.

Blizzard's big issue is that despite them being sloppy on shit like "it's fine elf ears clip through every single thing in game" they're weirdly anal about a lot of things when it comes to player expression. They don't give a fuck if you edit your ui to have a 3d model of Xal'atath fart in your face to let you know CDs are coming up but at the same time their transmog system is still a decade behind what other games provide and that goes for just a lot of things that boil down to "things a player would do to express themselves".

In terms of what the engine is capable I have zero doubt they could give you a plot of land, hand you literally every single fucking (or at a minimum of things in the hundreds if not thousands baseline) object and building (which already have unified surfaces) that has been in the game for the most part, and let you Gary's mod to your hearts content in a self contained instance. But in terms of the Blizzard we know wanting you to be able to do that? Even now they strike me as "this is where your chair goes we will provide you over TEN chairs enjoy". If this was vanilla or TBC and that's how this system launched it'd be one thing but we're twenty years removed here. If they think they can get away with four different housing types with prefab locations to slot in some 100-200 odd knick knacks they're wrong.

theres no point to play the game past the first few weeks now, beforehand you could gradually work your way up in io but most people are stuck around 2750-2850 because of the wall of difficulty presented by xalataths guile, the players that pushed io the first week wont play with you because theyd rather wait an hour to get a "qualified" player
Same for arena really, want to play an alt? youll hard stomp your first placement game 5-1 or 6-0 and then you're fighting everyone elses alts at duelist rating, theres no sense of progression outside of mythic raiding and no one does that anyways

Is this real? Because I'm like 615 veng DH and despite tanking some +10s (very slowly), even in like +4 keys I get melted by random mobs at random times, especially in siege. Feel like I'm made of paper outside of my meta. At least I do great aoe damage, but I have to really think about what defensives I use like the sigils with demon spikes or the mark and when to use meta.
