It's better to play a Utility Champion in the Bottom Role now. And pick your carry in the Support Role. Because then the carry gets more consistent gold and then the utility Bottom pick can play on swing.

That Support item is simply broken. Literally queue up for Support and just play whatever carry you want.

I once again repeat, that they are not good together. Most ADChuds haven't played Xayah in the last three years because she hasn't been meta for a very long time. Most Xayahs don't even start W level 1, so we just give up the most broken level 1 all-in for no reason.
They were most likely hovering a different ADChud until I locked in Rakan, and said something. Playing with Xayah as Rakan just isn't a fun experience - I would take literally anything else but Xayah.

its why the role is so dogshit to play in solo q but looks great in pro play
its why braum/thresh/naut/(actually good) enchanters are so universally liked by adcs but mages and shit picks (off meta) are disliked by them

if riot was smart they would buff support champions directly and nerf the income of support "role" to balance it out

fun fact dota2 solved it ages ago by forcing people to play supp for 1 game and giving them 4 games of their actual roles in return

Your argumentation literally contradictions what you just said. But you're still right. But for the wrong reason. Singed simply doesn't have the option to engage as a typical Support. His peel though is fine.

But if your Jungler is shitpicking and doesn't have any engage tools. Than it falls on the Support to engage. And Singed can't. It's the same reason why most Enchanter Supports are frowned on by most ADCs. (Because they can't engage, they can only, at best, empower someone else's Engage).

I would say mechanics and your issue are correlated, the oversimplification of mechanics has turned games into some sort of auto-play watching party simulator, where individual agency has been so reduced that everybody kinda gets into your very situation of observing powerlessly a coinflip they cannot interact with.
You'd think riot games has any idea where their design team is leading the way, but they're schizoing with severely opposed points of view every other patch, doing one thing and then reverting over and over, they're clearly clueless... I don't see any future where the game would actually improve. Personally I'm just waiting for league of legends 2 at this point.

How do I unfreeze a wave against Darius as Jayce? Like I can't get close to wave without getting murdered and he knew how to freeze it effectively so I was completely fucked as I had no CS or levels that I was rendered useless. Checked his account later, only level 42. So it was a smurf account.

Coom aside since Hecaram and Lillia already exist an armoured rabbit centaur would've worked too especially since the body would have explanation in terms of being fluffy and chubby in the cold but still athletic enough to hop and be speedy especially with the villages in Freljord get raided I imagine an armoured mercenary wandering rabbit would've worked. sorry, I left to go make a snack. It depends on the state of the game. Honestly, Garen, Mordekaiser and Darius and so forth scare a lot of people when they just run at you and Ghost and run you down - most people just flash away and don't even bother fighting back. Get past that stereotype and you'll find that (depending on what you're playing) you might actually be able to match them if you play well enough.

That being said, yeah, if you really just can't even walk up to the lane just start roaming, harassing the enemy jungler if you can and pressing your own jungler to take Grubs/Herald and help them when they do. Mid roams too, so... yeah, basically what you said. Don't go too far though because it's very likely that Darius (or whoever) will shove out the wave the moment they see you busy with something else and just use the opportunity to take plates instead.

It's a pretty bad situation in general but you'll get better at it the more you play.

When im vs Darius i just chill under my tower and last hit and Darius will be unable to mentally handle not being able to fight me and will try to towerdive me at full hp and give me a free kill or he will abandon toplane and run araund the map like a jungler.
Darius players have ADHD they cannot handle just farming for a few minutes they need to fight and they need to fight NOW so denying him that duel makes him go crazy and throw the game half of the time.

yeah. it never gets better so do your best to just stop pushing waves while low HP into champions known to be abused for doing things like this, like fiora and co. champions that rely on hitting minions for abilities (yorick, irelia), build bamis (tanks) or have aoe abilities that they'll need to use for farming or just poke all can't do this, so you'll be fine against them.

just learn to recognize which champions do this and get used to it. sorry, there really isn't any great advice to give. this is probably the biggest reason why nobody likes top lane. if you have a champion that can poke from afar (jayce, gnar, whatever) you can also maybe try to work yourself out of that situation, too, i forgot to say.

but it all just depends

I doubt Aurora was a financial failure. She probably sold skins like crazy and had tons of people try her. Similar to what happened with Seraphine and how Seraphine still gets tons of skins even though she isn't super popular.
Riot's very fast rework of Aurora shows they know she can be a popular skin seller but the kit itself was a failure.

if this is in low elo, you can catch most darius players off-guard by just walking into them to not let them get their Q sweet spot hit off. much easier said than done and *most* darius players will just reposition and hit you with it anyway, but some others just go on full autopilot because they're just so used to people running away that they don't expect you to fight back at all.

i agree that darius is extremely oppressive and has even been that way for a disgustingly long time and for some reason is just allowed to be this incredibly oppressive in lane for years on end for whatever reason whilst simultaneously also having a ultimate reset/execute double whammy ability that gives him incredible utility throughout the game and arguably the best passive in the game but

Think of it like this - when an enemy heals and you block it with GW imagine you are dealing true damage instantly equivalent to 40% of what they just healed.
Ask yourself can you spend the 400g, which you'd use to upgrade a tome or sword already in your build path into a GW item, in a way to generate more damage.
The answer if you're vs enemies that heavily heal is a massive fuck no.

The fact that those champs may have increased healing% in aram literally just makes GW items even more desirable and efficient against them, not less.

I think Zilean's probably the only champion that fits your criteria, but I really don't wanna recommend him to anyone. He's obnoxious to play both *with* and against. Milio and Zoe are some good choices if you can get over that tight criteria, though.

It's not an aura, it's a ~2.5s cast and then a ~2.5s duration of invulnerability for everyone that was inside the circle(s). You either try to burst them during that 2.5s window where it's casting or completely disengage and then re-engage. I almost never use it reactively.

Yea, Milio would be perfect except he's brown. Zilean could be alright, his kit is kind of dumb though.

I played this game for a long time and I was in the top couple percentage points of ranked, and I've also shitposted in /lolg/ since before it was on /vg/, but I quit when they wanted to install kernel level anticheat. I don't cheat, but it was the principle of the matter. I just wasn't comfortable with a company that is majority shareholder Tencent having that sort of data on my machine, due to their relationship with the chinese government. I'm just swinging by some amount of time later to check in and ask what current players think of Tencent, what they think of the current anticheat, if any problems have arisen since its implementation, and also just how the game is doing in general since I stopped paying attention. Player numbers, esports, changes to the game, new champions, new skins, anything you guys like or dislike.

I don't like it but i haven't noticed any significant changes to the game in performance or direction (Vanguard/Tencent related) at all since. I fundamentally don't like the principle of Vanguard at all either but I guess I'm just used to it because it feels like that's how the whole internet just is now. There's privacy breaches left and right. It's just the new normal however much it may suck. I don't think they're ever gonna budge on the decision to install Vanguard, though, so if you ever plan to get back to League you'll just have to get used to it too. Sorry.

This should be a lesson in not doing this anymore, but something gives me the impression you're not going to take this exchange as a lesson and you're just going to keep on doing this.

You can tell from the responses you've gotten that most lol gamers aren't really aware of the issue and lash out when it comes up. Sadly a lot of people don't take infosec seriously. I run league on a desktop that is not connected to my usual network and has dummy accounts associated with it. I use it for everything that is suspicious, including games that have intrusive TOS or stuff like vanguard. As for the game itself you're not missing anything. It hasn't improved or gotten anything significant recently.
