That's not what activity is. Activity is time spent alive after performing scoring actions. You keep getting rp over time whenever you score. If you fly, score by killing a base, and then instantly get slaughtered like a base rushing retard, then your activity level will be garbage.

Not really, activity is a mix of your mission score/battle time, I'm sure there is a formula somewhere and you do not get point for flying, but by being in proximity of the enemy.

Being in proximity isn't enough. You need to keep scoring. The very act of taking off is your initial scoring activity, but you need to stay alive and keep scoring to get your activity up. Simply being in proximity to the action won't get you anything.

the reason i quit this game a few years back is i activated one of these 50 battle 50% sl boosters and played nothing but helena
lost it halfway through and uninstalled

i'd go for the winwing orion 2, it's on sale right now. vkb is nice for all its modularity and little customization parts but doesnt really do anything the orion 2 can't (other than some very specific detent customization), and it's only what like $20 cheaper than the orion 2 right now. virpil i have no clue about.

The J21s are massively underperforming (the flight performance was similar to the spitfire mk.xix irl) but the guns are laser beams, also the P-51s are good planes to grind the tree with. The Pyorremyrsky is wonderful, 100% worth the cash.
In the subsonic jet era go for the J29A, A32A and J29F. Grab the J29E if it ever comes back.
In the early supersonic era go for the mig21 bis. DO NOT purchase the J35XS.
The Viggens are fun and a new one with amraams will come soon to pad out the gap between Viggen and Gripen.
The Gripen A is extremely good at it's BR. The Gripen C is severely powercrept by planes with twice the missile amount.

The 40mm was deemed too big to be usable in a belt or autoloader. Besides, both the gunner and commander load the gun and it's done very quickly thanks to the clipazines.
South Koreans don't seem to have any issues doing the same in the K21

anyone here who mostly plays air sim? I've been recently getting into it and Im having mixed feelings about the head tracking.
I could get VR goggles and probably will in the future, but so far I've been using just AItrack and its super fucking finicky and has trouble with looking back. strapping a giant piece of paper to my head is fucky too.
I've been thinking of designing and printing something more elegant and I've been thinking what other ways of headtracking are there, possibly what sensors are required, even if I have to open up already existing devices and implement them in my own design

2 tier difference is -60% already, gonna hurt a little less with premium vehicles but its still a massive cut to the extent that a TT vehicle (one tier below what youre researching) is likely to be more efficient than a premium+penalty

Also, not only does BR not matter anymore in ground sim but matchups are fixed by country like how RB used to be years ago before it became a nation free for all. So learn what enemy countries' tanks look like and you're good.

Yak-3u actually has better performance at low altitude (where everything fun happens in a game) and you don't have to play it like you're allergic to fun and action. J2m2 is essentially a zero that climbs 2x as well and goes 100kph faster so of course it's fun in addition to being meta.

Me 410 A-1 is a good brainless strafer-intruder for these tasks, either you're left to your devices and eat every soft target with deep 8mm and 20mm reserves and maybe get some medium tanks with 500kg drops, or you aren't and still get plenty from zooming straight in before anyone can stop you or easily treetopping to one side to wait for the furball & likely avoiding attention until it concludes, either way probably soaking attention from 1-6 enemy fighters diving you when they do notice, possibly causing a full match throwing blowout in your teams' favor simply by existing

honestly 50s. + stock guns + rng fucked me over more than once, I see impacts on the enemy plane but not even getting "hits" and also the game sometimes just decides to put the enemy plane a few meters away for no reason, had multiple instances where I was not hitting firing on the enemy and shooting next to it got me a kill.

The lighting is actually quite good, they even have their own implementation of global illumination, the problem is the color balance, which is MASSIVELY skewed towards brown. Slap a couple of filters and the game looks fantastic.

US mains on ground make their bretheren in the air look like gods. US top tier ground has the worst winrate of any top tier nation by a big margin, despite having one of the best lineups. If team quality and a solid lineup in top tier are your primary goal the best bet is probably to just go for Italy.
