An instance of your own that you can customize with your choice of house style and furniture placement is a lot different than what Garrisons offered.

Housing is a metaprogression thing, something in which you do stuff over time and it's reflected either cosmetically or by giving you little conveniences/utility. Runescape has it, XIV has it, there's no reason for WoW not to have it.

Sounds like max speed of 470% currently.

That suggests maybe Midnight or the Last Titan we'll see ground only travel expansion till a certain point. It says Ulduar revamped is a major location in the return to Northrend. The difference is that garrisons actively took away from the development of other things in game, major patches which should have included dungeons and raids or new areas were instead "garrison" updates, and you were also forced in to garrisons to do activities like the mission table, it wasn't a side activity it was mandatory

meanwhile if housing is just a side activity and more customizable than garrions it'll be fine, if it's an active hub that you are forced in to every couple of minutes it will fail in the same way

Seems like the best guess going off the road map and the current release date for Siren Isle.
Expansion reveal is 100% at the Xbox showcase which is typically June
Presuming we do the 8 week cycle

Fated is a based patch mechanic and is fun.
The pure and simple reason that Fated Shadowlands was beloved and Fated Dragonflight was a flop is because Fated revolves around raids and Shadowlands raids were extremely fun to play whereas Dragonflight raids were the worst ever created and nobody wants a nightmare blunt rotation of the 3 raids each competing for "worst raid of all time".
Additionally, S4 (Fated) of Dragonflight was the Dragonflight dungeons which generally sucked and were boring. Fated SL had Taza and Mechagon as half the dungeon pool which would have been enough to make it god tier on its own.

I'm fairly sure BRD was supposed to be the megadungeon but it got moved to an anniversary feature, hence the fucking inane health and damage values plus mechanic vomit because they had to jack it up to raid level relatively late in design.

Yeah, its pretty alright.
Sometimes they sound really good and other times surprisingly sloppy.

I really don't feel like playing through gay goblin content.

Their lore is not interesting whatsoever and the art design of goblin zones & architecture is just putrid. I don't find the characters endearing or funny in any way.

I want to come back cause of the Anniversary event, Plunderstorm, Turbulent Timeways, 11.0.7, and some of the other stuff but 11.1 looks genuinely bad. And of course a new arena map just has to be ugly as sin.

Housing will be a single room inside Stormwind/Orgrimmar that you enter through a portal. Every single prop inside the room will have predetermined spots where you can place them meaning everyone's 'houses' will look basically the same, just like Garrisons.

I've seen tons and tons of complaints about VALORSTONE acquisition. When you capitulate to everything you just breed a whiny spoiled playerbase.

they can't. they already did this. it was a massive failure. I had 20 characters all farming mission tables in WOD and was raiding while doing full clears of everything on 5 of them. I was super giga-active and I have _NEVER_ not _ONCE_ had someone zone into any of my garrisons. It's just not something happens.

They can't rehash the same mistake. They just can't.

Just upscale the world so the zones are massive and a hundred miles across. It's 2024 not 2004.
