It will depend on the other relics tbqh, one style may be broken again this league
If Magic is best again, Shadow will probably still be BiS and just added to with Fremenik. You'll need a raid region, and probably just add Kandarin or some shit for zenytes.

If ranged is best, Tbow will likely still reign supreme so it'd be a raid region +... anything really, they don't seem very beneficial.

If melee is best, the world's your oyster, Varlamore and Mory both have good Echo options. But Varlamore requires doing gigamode Colosseum. Tiranwynn seems like a meme.

well they did say they wanted the echo drops to be weaker than megarares
and i think their obvious design decision was to use this to buff weak regions so yeah it makes sense that theyre a bit uneven (yeah no shit the region that gives you rigour + augury has the weakest echo wep)
i think tiran + varla has the most obvious synergy, an item that makes the crystal armor boost melee damage and a strong melee weapon which benefits from prayer bonus (which crystal armor has a decent amount of)

Double elemental weaknesses becomes worthless when you get a powered staff. Infinite elemental runes is the same deal. And it's unusable with the Mage BiS (because it's 2h).

If you can get 2tick melee again, Guthans will heal you for like 40 damage every 2.4 seconds on average, that's 1 hp to 119hp overhealed every like 7 seconds.
Having a guthans switch might be pretty fun if you have Barrows.

... or you could just get the Varlamore bracers that allow you to combo eat a Karambwan + Shark for 76 health in a tick, and wield actually good gear. Hmm...

I don't think the echo bosses will be much harder. Colo is fucking gay and aids in the main game like inferno but inferno was a total joke last league and I picked melee so I had to do triple jad and zuk normally. It probably helps I have 3 kc but even if you don't leagues buffs make you a god. I doubt they'll make retarded mechanics for echo bosses, they said they were going to do that for the raids last league and all it ended up doing for ToA was literally adding invocations that just added 200 to the total level, nothing except your normal toa stat buffs changed. But yes to your point it should have been a different boss

desu the Dogsword from Asgarnia is probably the best one. Healing + giga damage + massive flat defence reduction is useful pretty much everywhere if you're using melee.
