Me and my squad lost the terminus EE run we had going in the last phase of the boss fight
Homie #2 with healing aura got thrown all the way out into the sea, so homie #1 swam out to try and save him, then got bodied. I popped a phoenix up, then immediately got downed by the fodder. I was DPS machine, but I lost PhD flopper, so the ray gun I was using to keep shit off me ended up killing me

For me the fodder was the bigger issue, I was running the GPMG and I wasn't having trouble melting down the boss. I had el pop set to trigger on damage, and that was fine until I was taking the full brunt of it
I said during the fight at one point that it reminded me of the original DOOM 2 boss fight and that turned out to be prescient.

The zombies campaign mode (Nightmares) have a different story and ironically more comprehensible than the main one but it was still whatever and you can tell the budget for Nightmares was significantly lower with the lack new assets and voice acting from all characters other than the female player

I feel your pain, I spent a good 30 minutes figuring this out myself.
The way it works in zombies is not like in multiplayer, you don't want to ram it into a crowd, you want to drive it near them and it will kill them with an area of effect. If it touches one it will explode.
Best approach is to use the hilly street on liberty falls with them trained up in a column, drive alongside it

I run my energy mine with no major augment and the Decoy minor augment, it's very nice for saving yourself if you fuck up and get surrounded.
PHD Flopper's "Tac sprint tackles zombies" and Juggernog's "You stun enemies near you when a plate breaks" are both great too.
I use the "two seconds of invincibility" augment on Quick Revive over the "get a kill while downed to revive" one since you only lose Quick Revive that way instead of all but three of your perks (that and I rarely have a pistol/ray gun to get downed kills with)

They did in fact get rid of it in MW3, they made it so you always scoped in to your crosshair dot and only started swaying once fully aimed-in.
MW3 also got rid of the mechanic where your hipfire crosshair moved around to match how your gun was animating due to mantling/etc, which this game likewise brought back (while adding a perk that reduces it).

My hope is that it being "on" is the "default state" of the engine and Trey just forgot to manually set it to "off" in their dev builds in the wake of MW3 doing so.

In MW3 the snipers still had plenty of aim sway, it just only kicked in the moment you reached full ADS rather than being a thing during the aiming-in.

Only the GS45 pistol and LR 7.62 Sniper do that, the other pistols stay bullets.
You can still progress the camos as "grenade to the face" still counts as a crit, it'll just be much slower since you'll headshot a guy then the explosion non-crit-kills 5 other dudes.

I don’t think COD knows how to write black characters, they’re basically all generic with no unique personality male or female. Outside of COD4 Griggs they’re basically all generic. Marshall doesn’t really have anything stand out either, he’s just “plain serious person”. None of them are popular at all.

first of all, that's racist. Second, it's CoD and they are writing soldiers there's no way you can make the character liberal or crazy, they have to write serious soldiers who are serving the country and nothing else. The shadowban means your system will go through a signature scan and then the pajeets of Activision will do some in-game client checks and whatnot. This usually takes about a week.
This is all what I actually know about this.
If you are not running anything which could be detected (I'm not even accusing you of anything) you should be fine to go in a week or two max.

I feel like the infinite shadow ban loop is only bleated out by the actual cheaters because the majority of people in these lobbies definitely deserve it

I don't think there is an infinite loop unless something on your machine triggers this but of course I could be wrong. It would be stupid if mass reports would get people repeatedly shadow banned for no reason.
And in general Ricoshit alone isn't nearly as oppressive as Vanguard (valorant) for example.
Richocet only protects the games from Brazilian copy-paste script kiddies who want to copy cheats from discord servers and forums.
This leaves the professionals alone unfortunately and it's good business for Activision too...
