My confidence is on the floor. I feel desensitised to this game already and I've only played 2 hours this entire week. The unpredictability of this game when MW3 was super smooth and predicable, or any other shooter for that matter from CS GO to battlefield. Not to mention everyone is a fucking camper now. There's lots of people who have submitted ones for other games and (prominently) for games like Guild Wars 2 it was exposed that tons of people got wrongfully banned for just opening empty text files even, causing them to ditch anti-cheat entirely because of how annoying SARs are.

I don't have any issues regarding the inputs but I did notice that I had 'fsr3' enabled for some reason and the application crashed because afaik fsr3 doesn't even work properly in this game.
I use CAS and had set it via the settings.
Needed to change it back.

Doesn't tell us shit when cod is an app which includes f2p warzone. We know there are a fuck ton of bo6 gamepass players globally from microsoft's press release the other day. We have no idea how bo6 is doing on the same global scale on ps5. Last time I checked ps5 wasn't even selling well. Still behind the ps4 launch aligned, even here in Europe. It's a known thing that ps players don't buy games. PC carries gaming far beyond the typical life cycle of a game on console. And xbox players have gamepass which is cool I guess, I use it too on PC.

You know, the camo grind in zombies has taught me that I don't really like the way they designed it. Nothing ever feels really threatening, there's almost no risk, but simultaneously the zombies are absolutely cracked with the reflexes of a zoomer on speed and hyper-extendo arms, there's not a lot of counterplay it's either steering well clear of it or killing it. Similarly for weapons like the LR 7.62 and the GS45, the challenges are borderline impossible if you pack-a-punch the weapon, making the grind even longer and more tedious. It's not even like multiplayer headshots where a higher degree of skill equals a faster grind, because within five minutes you crack your head on the skill ceiling in zombies.

I get they want to extend the playtime, but I wish they were either more creative with the challenges or at the very least made it less insanely tedious.

That style of play is harder nerfed now than ever since most maps are smaller and you can just kill them yourself or just use recon and take em for free.

That's assuming that BO6's four-year dev cycle wasn't them also laying down the groundwork for BO7 though. They probably won't be bringing back jetpacks or even using the grappling hook outside of the campaign, but it could be reasonable to expect it to be BO2-tier with parts set in the past and present, with the sci-fi elements mostly being relegated to cosmetics.

If you're going to be getting Battlepasses and/or bundles then don't bother using the tokens on guns.
The Season 1 pass is already confirmed to have a GPMG, the Blackcell bonus gun is a Goblin, and one of the first bundles has a VAL.
I'd go for perks that need level 40+ since that's the halfway mark for the 1-55 XP requirement, but yeah Gunfighter definitely isn't a bad pick either since it's still level 33.

I use it in any match where I'm just farming XP/crit kills/etc basic stuff, from start all the way through exfil at 31.
If I'm going for a very specific challenges like "Kill three Amalgams with Thermo grenades" then I turn it off after round 10 though.
It increases how many zombies can be spawned in at once and how quickly they spawn, so it makes farming much more time efficient (not to mention more engaging since they all move faster, too).

I think they fixed these walls in BOCW but apparenly in this trash game they are the same.

The trick is to post up on the roof of the bank just behind the zipline to the starting point. 50 round drum mag and pack-a-punch ASAP. It's still not good, but you can shred zombie heads reliably up until round 16 where you need to lean on frenzy guard and shit like that. Not nearly as bad imo

I'm only 2/3rds done with the campaign but nothing about them really screamed "New World Order" to me. Secretly well funded and connected splinter group of the American government yes, but they don't really come off as a two hundred-year-old secret society that was responsible for every important historical event either.
You do bring a good point though, the early marketing really did depict a different image than what we really got in game, even if the campaign is still a blast.

Will I have a good experience if I buy CW on pc now? I'm disappointed with BO6 and CW seems like a much better polished game, with better gunplay, music, maps and (surprisingly) presentation and style (if I had to guess, CW seems like the one developed for 4 years, not BO6). yeah but the level of hype for GTAV and GTA6 is not just regular normie hype, people act like GTA6 is going to be the next coming of Jesus despite knowing virtually nothing about it, I can't think of another series with that kind of blind hype/loyalty that didn't eventually crash and burn.

Say what you want about CoD but unlike its competitors it consistently delivers gameplay that fans enjoy year after year while all its biggest competitors jumped off a cliff years ago (Halo and Battlefield especially, which were both at one point considered too big to fail). GTA6 isn't really a competitor to CoD because while it will absolutely outsell CoD2025, it will take 20 years for GTA7 to arrive at the rate things are going.

If CoD was really as awful as the people who hate it say it is, it would have fizzled out at least a decade ago. For all the things it does objectively wrong, it is doing important things better than any other FPS seems able to do as consistently.

The problem is, I don't see BO6 going through a redemption via patches. The netcode/connection/MM is cursed, the maps are awful, the TTK is way too high, the guns don't feel as punchy and with satisfying sounds like CW, the camos and cards are AI generated trash, and in general the game doesn't have that much style, personality and SOVL. The only redeeming quality is the omni-movement.

Needless to remind these problems still exist to this day and no amount of BO2 maps fixed them. Cold War was cancer but it wasn't as bad as MW19 because the standards are THAT low after that game.

The problem with the ttk is that someone had the bright idea of flattening the ttk. They made it so that shooting any part of the body except the head does the same damage and gave extremely harsh damage fall-offs for being 1 meter farther than ideal. Since the maps are so small, they rewrote how far a meter is in bo6 and made it shorter compared to mw2/3. So, you can easily step out of your gun's ideal range without realizing it. The only way we have to get adjusted to the new system is to constantly be pinging locations.

Maybe I'm just old but dealing with that stuff is just a part of online gaming, you need LAN for the LAN experience. This video is pretty cool and he is right about a lot, especially once the unstable connection is brought into the lobby fucking everything up. The game also prioritizes grouping players over skill rating instead of network which means the better you get the more likely the higher the ping depending on where you live.
What really matters is consistency, once you realize your lobby is desync'd to hell you can start playing slower, lead shots a bit more, prefire lanes/corners efficiently, minimize risk to yourself since turnarounds are much more difficult as we're talking about legit 0.20 - 2 second situations in lobbies where half the guys are on wifi.
Guy makes it sound like its just an easy fix but I really don't think its that simple, its more people need to understand how to play around it. In games where hitreg is actually bad you can't even play the game properly.

Considering how the MWII/III skins are all in BO6's engine with this upcoming WZ update it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually add them to BO6 MP at some point around Season 2/3. There is no reason for them not to, especially if it lets them pad out the store with rotated in older skins

Just beat the campaign, Emergence has to be one of the best cod campaign levels ever. But I hate how the story kind of just....ends. You never even find out what's up with case or the voice, wish it didn't focus so much on Jane at the end. Haven't played the online or zombies yet but overall I liked the campaign. Casino mission was kino, I liked talking to the group at the house, just wish it didn't end so soon

My buddy and I were getting clapped, and I spent about 4 hours solo trying to see how early I could get the beam smasher, fastest I could was round 15, and that involved a shit ton of luck keeping a parasite round going through the trials.

It ended up being for naught, because the first boss fight without pack 3 is a lost cause

See that orange objective marker? keep following it and unlock the doors until you unlock the pack a punch that's when you progressed the map well enough to start killing zombies and sandbox your way through it. Anything else is extra stuff that'll reward you with different things, you can google the mini easter eggs and see for yourself if they are worth it. The bowling shit is pretty funny

Play solo a bit, stay in first 2 areas (starting + area with comic book store so you can upgrade your gun). Farm cash until round 14, leave 1 zombie alive and then explore. Then open doors, collect perks, pack your gun and proceed to round 15 and survive as long as you can. Do that a few times and you can carry any lobby unless they are actual zombies themselves and just dc because they die every minute.
In my experience zombie players online are much much better than in Black Ops 1 or 2 for example. Back then there were plenty of absolute shitters who were just kids playing CoD because everyone else did.

It's gonna take a couple posts but here's step-by-step:
>Activate PaP
then either A:
>Use a Wunderbar gum and hope you get a Beamsmasher from the Mystery Box

>Look for a window on the wall about halfway up, shoot a fuse box that's behind the right end of the window

>Shoot a 4th fuse box that's near the second AMP Generator in the Jugg room
>Shoot the final fuse box in the rec yard, to the right of the basketball hoop
>A door will open by the basketball hoop, go inside
>Shoot the zombie that's trapped under a collapsed desk, grab the keycard she drops
>Find three laptops around the map and press Use on each of them. One is just before the docks, one is just outside the door by Stamin-Up, and one is just outside of the door by Quick Revive
>Go in the E-Pop tower, look for a briefcase on a table, press Use to open it then grab the Doohickey that's inside
>Take the Doohickey back to the secret room in the rec yard and press Use on the computer to attach the Doohickey to it
>Press Use on the computer again to open a code input, then back out of the code input
>Go to the first AMP room, press use on the window to pay Peck 5k Essence for the computer's code (Or solve a whiteboard puzzle in the secret room to learn the code for free)
>Go back to the computer and input the code

>Go down to the basement, hit Use on the front of the big tube in the middle of the room (the side where the keypad is).
>Wait for dialog to finish
>Press Use on the keypad, input the numbers you noted above in the order I listed them
>Wait for dialog to finish
>Press Use to turn the crank that's to left or right of the keypad, whichever one's handle is vertical instead of horizontal (if you are in a party, you all have to turn a crank at exactly the same time)
>Cue bossfight
