They should just introduce content where the infinite spread doesn't work in a way that trivialises everything, e.g. increased distance between enemies, increased time between enemies spawning, more focus on elite enemies that aren't one shot by poison.
Nerfing her at things she's already good at will feel like a step backwards, new content that she's not good at will just feel like the meta shifting away from infinite spreading poison.

The thing is that if people join a defence mission and there's no Freyna they just quit. If people join a 400% and there's no Freyna they just quit. If Freyna gets nerfed so she can't do her job any more people will just not run content that "requires" her any more. The devs fucked up by overtuning her and designing content that she turns into a joke, undoing that just makes that content feel like a slog because "it used to be much easier/faster".
The devs need to find a niche that other descendants can do better than her and introducing content that fits that niche, if they can't find anything then buff some other descendants to create a niche for them that Freyna can't do.
Nerfing an OP thing is never fun, buff other things and/or add content the OP thing isn't OP at. The point is to shift the meta away from OP thing instead of directly hitting it with a nerf hammer.

if something so OP makes the game brainless, it absolutely should be nerfed and there is justification. We drag every other character to meet her, the whole game is fucked. so then we have to balance every bit of content now surrounding Freyna, and worse still, its very likely to only push Freyna further up. this clearly isnt an easy thing to do considering Warframe and Destiny has this issue. Now we're going back to make every room even larger so we dont end up with the same problem, which the areas are already empty as it is. Future content can be created with the idea of such massive AoE range, which is still centered around Freyna, but every bit of previous content will forever be fucked unless, again, we make the areas even larger to accommodate that, which isnt easy or quick to do. We dont want to start introducing new mechanics just to appease one single character in a game that has 12 now, and will have more later. the other things that would have to be fixed is grappling hook reach, weapon range, weapon accuracy, line of sight abilities, movement speed, jump height, jump distance, and probably more Im forgetting. and thats just one suggestion anon had made, I could go down the few he mentioned but ive rambled on enough

its like filling a hole with dirt to make it even with the others. instead of using dirt from the same hole it came out of, we are creating another hole. but we have to fill the one we just made, so we make another hole to fill that one.

As a day one bunny hater, I just want to point out that the current Freyna situation is Bunny's fault.
Freyna was *fine* prior to her buffs, it's just that Bunny invalidated her entire premise with lightning emission alone, which was a bigger AOE than any of Freyna's attacks that ticked for more damage faster and could also be piloted towards enemies. And so they had to make Freyna compete with Bunny, by buffing her to absolute shit. Add in needing to make her machine gun compete with Hailey's sniper, and now Freyna's out here invalidating every other character just like Bunny did, arguably including Bunny.

All they had to do was nerf lightning emission - literally just lightning emission, they could have even gone and buffed every other bunny ability - and we wouldn't have to excavate a new trench of power creep whenever we needed to make other characters valid.

Each of Freyna's 4th's bullets already do the damage of Sharen's sword; at this rate of power creep cutoff beam's going to be harder hitting than Kyle's 4 by the time Sharen Prime comes around.

It's essentially the same thing though. To grind for high level 5 star artifacts in genshin, for example, you need to re-run the same dungeons over and over. The only difference is in TFD they dont timegate how many you can run, they just timegate the crafting side instead.
These gameloops are effectively the same - which is re-running content 100s of times. If you want that to take longer you are valuing your purposeless existence above that of people with other things they need to spend their time on, which is an incredibly self-centered and immature stance to take, which is why it belongs exclusively to fat losers with no lives.

Alright I admit I get a bit theatrical with it for fun but my point remains. It's fun clearing assloads of enemies quickly, and there is no good reason to increase the duration any given dungeon takes to complete with maxed characters.
I agree there can be a middle ground, but first, they should buff other descendants and add content that renders her less useful. If they ruin the 400s and defense mission loop she's currently used for that would suck, as it takes an immense amount of pain and tedium out of leveling weapons specifically.

Anontard, they added invasions and completely reworked defense in this season alone, added new 400% mode to all specops, while also adding a new boss and new weapon.
I don't think more varied content is much to ask, especially when they've already done it, and even going as far as some basic social zone with some silly intractable props in it isn't much of a heavy lift either.

Remove freyna from 400s because you can solo those, and you do get defense missions without freyna sometimes where you can experience how different those mission are now compared to launch. The point is adding more things to do witht he current assets in the game isn't hard to do, invasions are the same thing, they added some small elements like buttons and the tumors stuff, and it gave us a new experience. This isn't hard to accomplish, they just need to now account for the massive freyna buff now, and it seems like they had been playing catchup all throughout s1.

-Super Void-shardungeons: infiltration but every enemy is immune to all but one attribute
There you go, now there's a game mode where the majority of modes are not completely invalidated by one character pushing one button, and it only took me 10 minutes to come up with.

Gun play. My favourite mechanic is shooting a target and it applies debuffs, or proccs additional attacks, elemental status ailments. Or shooting a target with a gun and it releases a skill AoE attack of a sorts.
Are there any descendants that does this? I only played the starter girl, she's okay don't really care for her kit, and Bunny, which is.. eh alright I guess. I get why she's really good, she runs and melts shit but I don't find that fun at all, even if it is fast.

Guns sort of do what you're describing themselves, either through elemental damage effects or the unique effect of an Ultimate weapon. You could check out some Descendants that support guns like Gley (infinite ammo), Enzo (ammo/crit despensers and support drones) or Hailey (drones that slow her down but pump up her firearm crit rate).

Enzo's gun attacks are only as interesting as the gun he's holding, but his ability to supply ammo let's him spam most guns. He also buffs team gun damage, and has a tanking ability in regenerating shield drone.

Gley can turn any gun she has into her 'massacre', a unique auto pistol that inherits many of the stats from the gun she was holding like gun damage and fire rate. She also has an ability that gives her infinite ammo, and a berserk/non-berserk state toggle that changes her massacre from doing more damage or doing stun on every hit. With transcendant mods, she can vary her massacre even more, like giving it a fixed fire rate in exchange for more unlimited ammo, or making it into a charge gun that does heaps of damage. Can also be fast and tanky and restore her own life.

Valby can also summon a unique gun, in her case a bubble launcher that sucks every enemy inflicted with 'laundry' into it's confines, dealing more damage per enemy per enemy. Coupled with a mod that ups the pre-mod crit rate on guns, and she can be pretty good as a weapon platform. Also, two different mobility abilities. Her debuff decreaes electric resist, and you can mod electric onto most every gun, so that's another way she buffs gun damage.

Hailey also has a buff that increases crit chance on weapons in exchange for movement speed, and also has a unique weapon that inherits weapon stats, in her case a sniper rifle. Also has a railgun, pretty neat. Hit's harder than Valby but less utility

There are other unique weapon users, including Freyna, but most of them suffer from really long cooldowns. Lepic is one of the more noteworthy ones.

Not really if you're going for Zenith build since it takes stats from your Perforator DPS. Build out Mag stats for the thing and Payout so you can get more than 4 shots on your Zenith and make sure that you have a reactor that has the Perforator Mounting.

Both can work, although massacre requires certain setups to work in a collosus fight, by default it requires a unique resource Gley gets from killing enemies but there aren't many enemies to kill so you need to use another source for the resource like Blood and Iron or Massive Sanguification transcendants. Which is another reason why people tend towards infinite ammo.

You WANT fire enhancement on EL, replace fire conductor for sharp precision shot. Slot fire enhancement in place of expand weapon charge
For substats: crit rate, crit damage, colossus damage and firearm attack.
Fire substat on EL is fixed and cannot be scaled, whereas fire enhancement adds 30% more damage for free. EL is not a weak point weapon so fire enhancement does a lot of heavy lifting for this gun

I seriously don't know what could even be done with Jayber to make him better. The biggest flaw in his entire design is the stationary nature of his turrets in a game that all about mobility and character speed. Buffing his range and reducing animation times would improve him a bit but he would still not be a good character for any content other than maybe Defense Missions

I've many ideas on how he could be improved.
First, not having to recall a turret before you place another, instead auto recalling it when the new turret is being placed. That way, you don't have to wait out the animation and you have less downtime in turret DPS when juggling them.
Second, make the multigun AOE, so that when a turret is being dogpiled by mooks you can still upgrade and heal it, this'd also make it actually applicable as an offensive option too. Also, make it four shots instead of base three, we got two turrets and they need two shots each to upgrade.
Third, give the medical turret something for the upgraded zone either in addition to or instead of the taunt. Literally anything that's collosus relevant so that he can properly do something besides be bad Yujin.
Fourth, it's kind of dumb that overhaul and multigun do the same buff and don't overlap. We should be able to double upgrade turrets for maximum pet micro autism.
Fifth, fix the google translate on his abilities so that people actually know that his overcharge gives a buff that cuses his summoned turrets to be auto-buffed turrets with extended durations. The biggest reason people probably think he is shit is because they don't know they can juggle upgraded assault turrets across rooms to kill things instead of having to manually upgrade each turret with the multigun every time it is summoned.
Sixth, that thing where he gets some of his cooldown refunded on turret resummon? Fix it so that it actually works CD reduction, I'm tired of my 7 second cooldown ballooning to a 12 second cooldown because I recalled it on the 6 second.

I got all of her parts in the course of farming for other things. That's been my approach to 6% drops since then, if I get it while farming weapon parts to Catalyst BPs then hooray.

don't build out a tank before you build out either bunny or freyna to farm easier. you want 6+k def and as much health as you can get anyway though. level 100 gear is from any and all hard content so just do anything - remember to level boost your thunder cage too.

If you're planning to heavily invest in uFreyna, get Enzo to farm catalysts more efficiently. I wasted dozens of hours farming them without him and regret not following advice to unlock him sooner, he’s also fairly easy to unlock.
There’s really no reason to invest in normal bunny, in my opinion. She’s given for free just to help with the campaign, and that’s about it. But it’s up to you.

She's like a B-tier for everything. There's better characters for mobbing and also for bossing but you can play her in both roles and she can be used for EVERY mission. A lot of characters are usually good for one or the other mission type, but only a few like Valby and Freyna are super versatile.

Frost walker goes down to mass lepic volleys especially with a touch of Luna support, Gluttony goes down to Gley executor spam to the knee especially with a touch of damage support from Sharen or bubble support from Valby, otherwise the most powerful thing you can bring is literally 3 people who all know how not to trigger a party wipe. Yeah that's why I'm playing TFD now, I had a group of friends in Once Human that made it fun but they've slowly stopped playing and it's pretty lonely. Really bad in Season 2's gimmick too and I'm not in the mood to try to integrate into already formed groups from previous servers. try mine, it's my previous skill cost build I mentioned. Not as much in survivability though, maybe replace the Strong Mentality (skill cost -15%) with HP or shield mods.

also, what the other anon said, do not run 400% with High Voltage

but if you are that new, you probably don't get what we are saying, or even recognize half of the mods shown. in that case, just use whichever mod you have to prioritize range, then a balance of cooldown/duration so you can keep your skill active all the time

Yeah it's a problem. Keeping up all three of Luna's stacks on a DPS build is objectively much harder to do than pressing one button as Freyna yet it's not nearly as effective. She should be a lot more rewarding to play.

Mine is DMG to Colossus and Chill power, it's not great. I think that DMG to Colossus and skill crit damage would be much better. Having one character be so much better than everyone else is just bad for the game because you metafags have no concept of fun and only want to use the most overpowered stuff that will let you clear the content the fastest. Freyna's Contagion is broken as hell though. Once those green farts start going off it starts a chain reaction that kills everything in the room before it even spawns in. You're not skilled or challenging yourself in any way if you use that. It's just pressing one button and instantly winning. How is that in any way fun or interesting? There's something about one option having a bigger or smaller number or effect than another that just makes autists seethe. I remember a warframe thread from yonks back about how the big double barrel shotgun was better than the dual one shot shotgun pistols and people being absolute cretins screeching about it, didn't matter that the pistols had different options on what you could use them alongside or that they weren't some ultimate tier prime gun that needed 4 different parts to assemble or that double flinlock hand cannons are cool as hell and that's reason enough for them to exist, the problem was that one item did more damage per minute in the simulacrum laboratory than the other item and so the complainers demanded the devs had to fix it.

It really sucks because goesfast is Bunny's whole identity but it's also hurting the game because she runs ahead and does all of the killing before the non-Bunny players can even make it to the next room. Yeah, the fireballs that reset the pillars need to be adjusted. There are too many for one or two players to keep up with which is a problem since it's unlikely that everyone in a rando party knows about them. If you could easily destroy them with Bunny like you can the orbs in Obstructor that would be another thing.

This is what I use on my Freyna bossing build, just these four mods. SPS makes a big difference. The weapon you use literally doesn't matter, use whatever your reactor has mounting for.
