Now that Garrosh is Warchief again and Arthas will deport all of the zombies from Stratholme, how do we convince the male human wayyor playerbase that Arthas was in the wrong because paladin ideals proscribe mercy? How do we as the paladin minority justify that what we do and the mercy we show are acts of principle and not, in fact, acts of moral cowardice? It was easily an S tier expansion for me. But then again I mained warlock so of course I had a great fuckin time. Other than thinking the raid and trinket designs were great back then I really just remember the expansion as comfy, homely. I loved Dragonflight for that same reason and will probably file it away as "one of the good ones" in my memory.

Remember the Eye of Eternity part in Dragon Soul, I would leave the raid instance, enter the WotLK 25 version and mass summon people there instead.
Since there were a dialogue for 5 mins I would tell people I found a faster way and they 99% of times the whole entire raid followed suit

Was so fucking hilarious to see people ending up doing Malygos instead and it would brick the LFR instance aswell.

Working on my route for +12/+13.
Its only 3 mobs and they all require kicks so its kind of annoying, but on the other hand it requires everyone to have invis pot (usually they do) but also if someone dies on the next pull, they cant rejoin the group until the fight is over.
Not sure what to do with it.

Yeah people were going the long way when the meta was to lust on pull, but now that its lust on first boss because the first pull is pretty easy with all CDs, its kind of a waste of time, you gotta get to the boss ASAP and get that BL timer ticking down
You have 36:30 for the whole dungeon, so if you want to use BL 3 times you need to get to the first boss within 2-3 mins (taking into account possible deaths)

Augmentation Evoker made it significantly easier to time keys because of their offensive and defensive buffs, it would feel like you were doing a key 2 or 3 levels easier than what you were actually doing. Annulet was a ring that you would have borrowed power abilities on that would do a high amount of extra healing and DPS from the gems you could socket into it.

Ret is one of the few specs to return to classic video gaming of like 2 or 3 basic strikes, a special attack, and a supermove. Do you need more than that?

Every classes keybinds, at the end of the day, have to add up to 100%. 100% of expected dps output for an average dps (or hps for healers, or threat/mit for tanks, etc). It's a pie graph essentially. And every button you add to that rotation makes each slice of the pie feel smaller and less impactful. Nothing can illustrate this better than leveling a healer from 1-80. At level 20-30 you have usually 1 or 2 single target heals, a cleanse, an aoe heal, and a small dps rotation. Each button feels impactful and worth pushing. By the time you hit 80, they've quadrupled your keybinds, and each one feels so God damn flaccid and meek that you have to play an 80s synthetic solo on your keyboard just to keep the party afloat, nevermind also contributing with dps rotation (or classes where the two are combined like hpal and disc). You just feel the power drain like a vampire from each of your spells with every level you gain. Your kit becomes infected with the cancer of additional keybind after keybind until you are left with 3 to 4 full action bars, none of which have a single button that feels worth a damn like it did at level 20

The only reason I even touched the mode was a sense of obligation, having been a Bloodsail Admiral since Vanilla and having been one of the people on the forums to have originally campaigned for an appearance tab. It’s nice to finally be able to walk around in a greatcoat like Firallon, but they’d have to really add something stupendous to the rewards (read: not just recolors) to get me to go through that hell again.

The only nuance of the spec comes from managing your Holy Power and not overcapping it, and that just really comes down to timing your generators with your auto attacks which with a specific talent will generate 1 HP per 2 autos. I paid a large amount of gold in order to get the mythic ansurek kill and the guild have consistently failed to deliver

I’ve attended 4 nights of wipe after wipe and they have not been able to get the kill

They are not able to refund me and they said I just need to keep attending until they get the kill

I’ve not got the time, which is why I pay gold for the achievements every patch.

What should I do? I can’t spend another 5 hours wiping and the gold amount this time was very large

Should I just write the gold off and go for another guild?

You often see this in a lot of seasons once you get to really high keys. Disc requires a moderate amount of gear to get going and it works well for high end push groups so you see them start to swap over to disc and then other healers follow blindly for no other reason then they see top end groups make the switch. Disc functions for high end push keys after routes and strats are finalized because you just pull around mindbender and you're doing 20 second pulls with five fucking packs where you just have to push as much healing as possible in a 15 second window as your party of fully geared autists nuke it all down. A lot of things that you would otherwise have issue with (shaman is good because it can get rid of many poisons, how does priest deal with many poisons, etc etc etc) are ignored because it's just about every pull being a minibloodlust slaughterfest. It's the same thing with living through mechanics because it stops being about having efficient healing or consistent group/spot healing and is solely about "the only damage being taken in this entire fight is planned group aoe damage and you have exactly three waves of defensives to live through this and priest is pain supping the one guy who doesn't because otherwise he'd straight up die".

SL was bad in a bubble but was also the result of already bad practices they implemented multiple expansions prior so to not just reverse course but put legitimately improved from a baseline QoL things that went over well with the community is something I applaud.
