How does Alice (36 I.Q., 37 P.) has more MP (92) than Yekaterina (45 I.Q., 30 P., 87 MP) despite having a higher total?
My Knight, Thief and Fighter all have the same amount of MP (20) despite having diferent varying totals of I.Q. and Piety, yet never being equal (61, 49, 55).
Do different classes have different bonuses or modifiers to MP?

Wizardry ninjas are at their best when they are naked, without weapons and armor.
Thought I don't know if that would translate well do Daphne.
Why? Because items have bonus stats.
So they'd need to have some pretty strong passives or habilites that require being naked to compesate for it.

They'll probably be locked to light armor.
I don't remember if 6-7-8 required you to be naked, just barely armored. There was always some rare ninja gear you could use.

I think there is a pre-set allotment for each slot. I believe shields also don't get attack by default.

You mechanically can't, but you can vaguely rely on your own memory just fine. If it was minimum (5-6), you'd have that faint memory of "bricked," associated with them, in which case any dupe short of 9-10 points wouldn't be meaningful. If it was anything higher than the minimum, it'd be even less meaningful, especially if you've already inherited skills onto Unit A.

So don't fret over it compared to slapping good blessings on gear and enjoy your inheritable/disciplinary dupe.

Do we think no class change means they'll just have an unreleased class, like Ninja (although probably Samurai/Lord for Gerard, and maybe Lord/Bishop for the new Beastfolk Priest), or that they'll have to wait for a class change until they get a Merge skin/some other reason? Or will Ninja and the like be an advanced class that requires Fighter/Thief (but probably not strictly Evil)? I feel like it'd be weird if they teased Ninja, and we couldn't just roll on a banner Ninja.

Status spells (Silence, Sleep, etc) seem to have most (all?) of their success rate based on spell level vs target Resistance, rather than IQ/Piety, so should be fine.

My Malina runs a Silence and Sleep just in case Delay Shot isn't enough CC.

Okay no more wizardry for me today, logged in did dailies went to water area to find the 2 dead thieves for the request in boat 1.

Find them both easy enough already had the treasure however i would say 95% of fights i had getting the bodies were ambushes on me, I also rarely saw enemies anymore before just walking into them and quite a few times after winning an ambushed fight i would instantly have another enemy right on top of me before i could move again into another ambush.

My team is lvl 40 minus my elf fighter im leveling at 20 and with yeka on the team I have NEVER seen so many fucking ambushes even walking into the back of some enemies while i can see them and their icons were green on the map caused me to get ambushed.

When i got back to boat 1 to hand in the request the patroling pack that has 3 Giga lizards on it wiped me twice and killed my elf with 1 fort left, had to return by death twice because they ambushed me first time and the deaths made me just give up the fight, second time I triggered the fight from behind them while they were green and got fucking ambushed somehow and and to wipe again, third attempt from behind was a normal fight that got the elf killed but i decided fuck it you deserve the floor today, Yeka Earth AoE and Alice AoE clutching that fight.

What are the stat growths on Wanderer compared to other classes? I think it might be the class to play as once you've mastered all the other classes.

You can try to save her, but nothing happens.
It's part of the story and MC mentions it to Lulu.
There's an alternate boss battle if you do a bunch of things related to the mermaid statues you find throughout the area that leads to an alternate fight, I haven't done it yet though the alternate fight is suppose to be much harder.

Some anon several threads back posted this list of Katino (Sleep) and its levels+costs.

My level 30 Alice has 44(+2) Resistance, while a level 1 Dino has 13 Resistance, and a level 1 Benjamin has 20 Resistance. You can probably safely assume each level of a Katino cast is a pass/fail check against enemy Resistance, with a little +/- variance either in the spell, or in enemy Resistances to account for missing.

Each spell rank is likely just increasing the base value checked against Resistance, so re: "mulch some adventurers for better status spells," yeah, eventually, or they'll introduce more pages/books in events like they did for the Blind spell on Alt Lana's exchange shop, I think.

I think I remember something about passives and actives having different levels and costs, but roughly:
0->1: x1
1->2: x1-2
2->3: x3
etc, and by like level 5->6, it's wanting x8.

So if you were aiming for a level 9 spell, it's probably something like base+40-something dupes.

If I ever get banned or be put in debt, I'll never spend a single dime or endorse japanese games ever again.
I didn't farm anything else, including Mausoleum.
And even didn't farm Den of Earth chests.
If the hammer hits me nonetheless because of daily chests in B7F, then I'll say fuck it because all the ones I've got were accidental from farming B7F for loot + march of the dead to strengthen my equipment because I was getting filtered by NG+ Ents + Helmut.

Yeah, eventually our debuffs will probably stop working reliably unless we cast them at a higher level. There are bones that do turn to dust. These "daily" bones don't. There's no reason for one set of bones to dust but not the other. The whole dust thing is introduced to the player in tutorial v2 with the old remains even.
Daily bones are suspicious as hell and you should be hoarding them not using them if you're actually picking them up.

Nobody's been lucky enough to get both of a character's class-changes yet, however.
It MIGHT be a situation where you have to use a scroll to unlock a class, but you also need a scroll for a base class.
So if you had Asha (Priest) and Asha (Mage) papers, after giving both you can freely swap.
Otherwise it'd be horrific!

This is just my opinion, but I think they are probably intended just because they respawn daily. If it were a bug you would be able to farm them infinitely like the other bugged bones. I also think they would have fixed them already. Fixing free currency is usually priority 1 for companies. I still think not using them is smart just in case, but it's probably fine even if you do. As far as why they respawn only after using the wheel, that's how other fixed chests work too and just how it is.

That's every enemy. Some enemies take more or less damage from openings, but everything can have it inflicted. There is a cooldown after inflicting it though.

They should've been made much weaker, and in compesation pumped up their trap disarm and trap detection to absurd levels, while at the same time nerfing said statistics of anyone who isn't a thief.

Been doing with mages since their detect is at least decent. Chests aren't too bad most of the time even with the small window but the thing that's inconsistent is the stop dampening as that varies with the speed so you never really have a reliable timing from muscle memory.

I don't have Wanderer Lanavaille so I don't know her conversations, but princess Lanavaille does mention that she wants to be a leader(kind of odd for the real one who was a great leader to say) when trying to learn from you, and in another conversation, depening on your choice, says something a long the lines of "so if I'm strong in battle I won't get abandoned?" Also says she deserves it when dirty. All of which leads me to believe its B.

Knights do modest damage with swords on their bash but dogshit damage with a mace. The mace stun doesn't proc often enough to be useful. You are only really running it so you have no chance of fully missing your attracts.

The hit itself can't miss(or rather even if it does it will still do damage and still has a chance to proc the status), the status effect can regardless. Basically maces are for taking one layer of RNG out of the system but don't fix all of it. Of course it's honestly pretty rare that both sword hits miss anyway, so it's a dubious bonus.

Meant to say you should use the member with the highest stat. You could hypothetically have a character with a high stat detect the trap, then fail the disarm, then have a 2nd character fail to detect the trap. Trap detection is basically a dice roll.

This is my thought process. Chests respawning when you wheel to the start as a mechanic is definitely intended. It's how the event works too. I don't think that is debatable. Now what IS debatable is if the chests with the bones is intended. There used to be a few other items you could get that now turn into dust when you collect a dupe from chests(including a bone). They didn't change these ones though so they either forgot to or intended them to be repeatable. I dunno which for sure. Like I said, at your own risk and I'm not gonna sit here and try to force you. If you aren't sure playing it safe is perfectly reasonable.

Little bit of both. Gear needs to at least be green with a useful substat for me to want to bother with, but a high star rating is also required otherwise the stat in question will be shit anyway. That's assuming the gear can even reasonably be rolled high like that, like irons from waterway gear.
If a piece of gear is strong but can't be rolled high, that's where I'm more likely to alter the substat myself anyway so it doesn't matter as much

I reached the ship and I think that's the flag that increase the rewards from the daily quests. I had a 3000g daily monster request that now it has given me 4000g and the tome bounty rewards changed as well.
I assume these new requests in the pic that give money and ore in the royal city are the weekend quests and not the standard dailies

I reached the ship a couple days ago and my dailies didn't change at all.
It was already 4000 gold, a couple green exp tomes and 1 blue I think, and the junk rewards seems to be the same depending on which city for the type.

I'm not sure it's the complete list, but the one on the east platform of B7(after raising the rocks on B8) and the chest on B6 before the statues respawn. I'm not exactly sure how often, since I just got to the B6 one and it's not there yet but definitely can respawn. For reference, I grabbed the B7 one before maintenance and the B6 one after it, so they might have different timers.

Yeah I encountered that as well and posted about it in this general a while ago, but nobody replied or said they had it as well.
I only got it for one day though so I figured it was a glitch and moved on.
Knowing I have been missing so many blue books does piss me off quite a bit, I don't know which is supposed to be glitched then, the 9 blue books or the 5 green and 1 blue.
I have definitely been getting those daily rewards for a while, even while my whole team was stuck at 30 (I have two characters at 40 now and my MC is below 30 because I changed classes).
I am pretty sure the rewards changed once I did the first district of the waterways or something like that.

Just fight shit. If you feel you need better gear random chests respawn if you enter and exist the abyss, so you can harken in, grab whatever is close, harken out, repeat. Floor 7 is probably the best on your first run, especially after you open up the shortcuts.

I initially thought that Elmon and co. forgetting the MC was linked to time shenanigan bullshit, but thinking back on it I'm pretty sure that Lulunarde suggested that those involved in the abyss would pay some kind of price, and that memory was one of those prices. There could be some kind of link to death and memory loss as well, considering that not only did they all die originally but so did you, Lulu, and even your companions; all of which have varying degrees of memory loss. Adding to this the MC seems to have a flashback where he witnesses Lulunarde's death, however she has no memory of the MC and once again her memory appears to be spotty. Lastly, Lulunarde is more or less forced to hang around the MC otherwise she'd be teleported back to the Abyss, there's a good chance that if that happened she could forget the MC even from the current loop. With that being the case, it would explain why the MC's notoriety is spreading despite his former companions forgetting about him; the woman at the guild seems to remember him just fine after all, though I've yet to progress far enough to see if the Princess (who has not died in-so-far) recalls who he is.

B3 has an easy route with about 6 or so spawns on it. The best area on B4 also has the scorpion girl spawn, which can fuck up your formation's positions even if you are strong enough to auto her.

Look at Jamil. He's Wind, but he also learns Earth, which means he can target the weakness of enemies who have advantage against him.
In this aspect, he's a genius. Debuffs only work as long as you have a party, any lone mage needs to master the Art of Wild West Quick Draw Elemental Spell Duels.
So, why did Yekaterina learn Water instead of Fire? Why did Asha learn Wind instead of Earth?

iron is bascially unecessary. by the time you get it you should have +4 bronze, and by the time you even have enough iron to outfit everyone you'll start getting steel.

The problem with that, is that steel seems to be stuck at 3* blue and Iron can go up to 4* purple. 4* purple iron armour tends to be better than steel with the right bonuses. Also for weapons, you are going to want elemental rather than iron/steel.

I actually hadn't heard about Variants Daphne at all until recently, interesting to see it already looked like exactly what was released now way back in 2022 (he shows it at 19:10 in that video).
You can see the beginning dungeon with goblins, waterways, Olive, Gaston.
I guess there were already tons of material about this game out there for a while, and I am surprised I never stumbled upon any of it.

I suggest to grind until the cap xp then uncap maybe, you can definitely beat melgina at 40 but I'm not sure if you can kill the true boss without uncapping.

Wait, are random encounters when dirty actually a thing?
I'm on district 5, using mspaint to note down and keep track of where I had encounters.
Reached the flooded square, decided to go back.
But I suddenly got ambushed when I was here, near the entrance.
The thing is, I already had an enemy encounter around there. And I'm pretty sure there's always an patrolling enemy around there too.
So where the fuck did that enemy came from?
Also, do enemy functions just like the Scuttlebugs from SM64, where their "home position" resets? Because I fleed from the battle since I was out of resources and tried baiting it to some spaces back, but even with me always being on the adjacent tiles, they didn't follow far so I had to suck it up and fight it.

I was exploring district 5, and I reached pic related.
I discovered a new enemy, so I opened the map to note it's position down on paint. I apparently skipped the one on the left on all my previous runs.
When I closed the map, I couldn't move. "Communicating...".
Worse yet, the enemy was approaching.

2 Spinner Woman, 1 Plague Crewman and 1 Gluttanous Maw
Both red women one shotted Bibiana, in sequence. Which I found weird since she has 95 evasion.
She dodge and countered Gluttanous Maw, dodge Plague Crewman's row breath too... but I died.

Besides that my only other complaint about thief is that my MC's attack is MUCH lower, with the same exact gear, at pretty close to the same level.
It is about 40 attack power difference.
230 with fighter and 190 with thief.
Maybe the hide and sneak attack combo makes up for it, I don't really know how much damage that does yet, but it is a lot of SP and the damage better be much higher than wild strike.

I just got gud and stacked ASPD on one mage to deal with the few fights that were unavoidable and avoided or fled from the rest, it took a few runs for the boss to spawn in the spot I wanted though. In general you want to avoid fighting trash in the exams

The slimes just die to maforos (or laforos), and I have never seen the ghouls do AoE, maybe I just kill them too fast.
I have fought that exact party formation before but I must have used either Adam or Alice's nuke on them and finished it off with heavy attacks.

No, dismissing them after levelling doesn't give you anything. If you did raise their grade you get refunded the tags you invested though.

Yeah it's not really explained anywhere, but fighters get a 20% bonus to ATK from STR, and then Strength+ weapons get an additional 75% of your base ATK (not sure if this counts ATK bonuses from gear or passives, haven't checked). I assume thieves get some sort of bonus from DEX I haven't looked.

But the math in this game is all very simple, shouldn't be hard to figure out.

Personally, I'm of the belief that banners will follow what we've already seen. First a skin of an existing character like Lana, followed by an actual new character like Gerard. Daily bone anon's prediction of double thief then double mage follows this since our current banners are double knight too.

You're supposed to take damage every step until you gain protection from drowning. If that's not happening either, guess you're fucked.
There's should be an enemy in that area, where the statue with the current that's supposed to lock you in is. If you've already killed it you could try checking back in a few hours to see if it'll respawn.

I'd go with elemental. Adding more attack mostly just helps to get through more defense, but if you're already way above their defense from using a skill, you want to focus on multipliers like elemental weakness and sure hits.

The base stats on steel weapons make them far better to use than irons, even 1-2* compared to 4*. Alter ATK on your steel weapons yourself and you're all set.
Extract that greatsword and leave the 4* irons with good sub stats to your armor slots

Iron weapons are trash, because the bonuses can't make up for the stat difference between iron and steel. Armor is different because a 4* iron can roll +10 Def that goes to +20 when upgraded, which does make up for the smaller difference between iron and steel armors.

Nah its upgrades are small compared to higher tier weapons. Rings are the only low tier item you should consider investing in. I have a +15 mag +5 ASPD iron ring+5 that I will sink gold and ore into for my mage

After looking at the base stats you're right (20 dmg difference). I've pulled ~1k waterway junk and the best weapon I've seen is a 2* green steel, so my thought process was I can safely enhance that to +15 and it'd prolly end up with ~15 SUR/ 25% ATK where as I'd end up at mercy of the blacksmith upgrading steels past +5. But yeah looking at the base stats all It would take would be for a steel to roll SUR/ATK and there's no way the iron could catch up even with the enhanced blessings.
While we're on the topic, is it worth gambling 3* white steels to +5 or should I just stick to 2* greens?

You don't, the sooner you stop being a pussy about Fortitude the sooner you'll have fun.
You only need to "wait" when they're actually dead with low Fortitude

Hell, you have flames, spend them, if someone dies in a fight and you think you're fucked, you can intentionally screw up the revive QTE (or just let your MC die normally without ending the battle) and die, coming back to life with a flame and reviving any of your dead characters.
