Which of the four non-season 1 mythic dungeons introduced in TWW do you guys think is gonna be the worst to do?

Genuinely why does this entire dungeon feel like it's the climax of a cut campaign storyline. It comes right the fuck out of nowhere, resolves in like 5 quests, has no relevance to literally anything outside of that, and no one ever mentions it again even when Xal waltzes into the same priory in the climax. The entire implication that Beledar can just make new forsaken powered by light is effectively solely for the sake of a handful of adds existing, along with a boss that seems to have gotten amnesia of you within about 5 minutes of you leaving his line of sight.

main difference with paladins is how they tank more by mitigation than by healing, famously DKs die in one second because they need a second or two to use a death strike to heal whereas paladins have actual % damage mit as CD's
i dont know if people still use sentinel or regular wings anymore but lightsmiths holy wep is quite powerful for something that happens passively when you use wings

look at what specs are meta and choose accordingly. this becomes very important at higher keys
if you intend to just pug then the above is even more important. it's also going to be easier for you if you play a tank or heals because you'll just get into groups easier
if you're running your own keys and want to time them don't invite people who haven't cleared the same dungeon and same level you're advertising for. we're at the point in the season where people who have timed 11's or 12's are still going to run 10's because they want crests/vault for the week.
12's are when the game gets fucking bananas and you really need a solid roster of friends to push with
ultimately i would suggest just not engaging with m+ beyond +10's but that's my shitty advice if you want to go higher

Blizzard should really just make delves or some kind of solo content with mythic level rewards and mythic levels of difficulty and watch 90% of the player base migrate to that LOL
most of the frustration with wow is co-operating with other players not actually mastering the game.
I guarantee you if they make solo content a full pipeline to mythic most people will not have a problem with it after a couple weeks. People only think wow is hard because of social problems.

it is harder because theyre still at the mercy of parry rng even if you cycle everything perfectly and have to improvise by kiting if pulls take too long to die. kiting itself depends a lot on the terrain and the long narrow stretches of grim batol for example are extremely difficult for anyone to kite on unless you bring a frost mage.

Not only do you not see it out of combat (that is if you are someone who actually wants to use their visage form), but it also literally doesn't match a single one of their preset armor colors. The real reason this season is ass is because of the m+ level squish. The average retard sees 12's and think because it's such a smaller number that it's attainable for them.
Go back to today's 12's being the equivalent of 24's back then and it wouldn't be nearly as bad. People would get to like 15-16 like in the past, get stuck as they should, and call it a wrap.

Man, I took my 598 Warrior into a T8 Underkeep delve, and I got my shit pushed in by those opening mobs. Three deaths. Second two were after I swapped to Prot. Health was swinging up and down during the rest of the delve, too.

bg's are pretty fun, randoms are easy because there's just more ways for good players to be better than bad ones in retail

If there's one benefit that's really nice it's just blitz and shuffle, which let you do rated bg's and arenas with randomly formed teams.

cc chains are also a bit more forgiving these days (sans rpm), and premontion is probably the best addition to pvp as a caster ever.

As with most xpac starts, there are some major outlier classes atm, specifically feral druid just going fucking NUTS for 30s during incarn right now.

trinkets are mitigated from being relevant by a set bonus for using pvp trinkets
you basically get the equivalent of top pve gear in pvp just by doing random bgs and getting honor gear

at this point, late into the season you could maybe join a 4/8 mythic pug and it might get you a few slots you could upgrade a little faster than by grinding conq, but it'd be a very marginal and low prio thing to do compared to just grinding conq and rating.

kind reminder that you can upgrade champion tier to 5/8 with basic crests, which is 603 I think? and tier 8 delves will reward a 613 each week

for this week, try opening a group for black temple timewalking raid and make sure you have the black temple quest and not the dark iron quest. black temple loot is 593 and reward is 610, its easier than a mythic dungeon btw. so undertuned.

from 610+ it becomes a bit trickier, you got to do content after that

Started playing with some Moon Guard guys during Shadowlands, progressively get better ratings and make title together in S3 of DF. S4 they start rp'ing more, it's a joke season whatever. This season they keep rp'ing, feeling hard stuck at 2850 because half the time we are carrying their friends, half the time we are barely running keys because their rp.
Meet a guild in a pug that are just looking for more people. The last two weeks having consistent people to run with I finished all 13s and 2x14s. Felt fucking great. Moon Guard bros start whispering me, I'm not making time for them and stuff.
Make some time, they keep pushing it back because they are finishing rp up. Brick a 12 mists with one of their friends doing tank damage. Brick the 11 Siege it became because "sorry i'm rusty". Realize I'm not having fun and tell them as much.
Get some long discord message talking about me being elitist and other shit. Don't respond just move on and keep running keys with the new guild. Having fun but it feels like shit losing such long time friends.

That's also why I love the zone but sort of hate it at the same time. The TBC starter zones I think still takes the cake for setting up your race's position in the world. You start in a mostly normal part of the land with some corruption, and then you're slowly introduced to just how fucked everything is with finally at level 10 heading into the dead scar where hope is fully lost and only a singular bastion of civilization remains. Even your capital city is a shell of its former self and how empty it typically is helps sell that "Keep calm and carry on" vibe the belfs give off. At the end you're left with some hope that one day your people will reclaim their spot and rebuild, but once you leave that zone that core belf identity never really gets recaptured except for TBC (which nobody plays anymore) and some of the specific scenarios/racial quests here and there. Cata sort of built on that vibe further but I don't think goblin/worgen nailed it as well as the belf introduction.

I never really cared for Blood Elves because I feel Kael just lead them to going full retard in WC3, I should seperate their start zone in WoW since they came back and trying to fix their shit up, but its hard for me to do that.
For the same feel, at least regarding Elves, I hold a slightly more nostalgic look at Teldrassil > Darkshore... Too bad Darkshore got ruined in Catacylsm.

Still, similar themes with Azuremyst to Bloodmyst. Both Draenei and Blood Elves once having got their bearings have to go fight the forces that have been haunting/plaguing them for generations. It's just the Draenei's situation with Bloodmyst is a bit more recent since they just crashed. They're trying to stop the demon and blood elves getting a foothold on the land thats freshly getting fucked by the ship polution and demonic magic. Nip the problem before its made worse for the rest of the world they just crashed on. Whereas the Blood Elves are just kinda stuck in this weird loop of trying to prevent the lingering scourge making things worse than it was already made, even trying to remove some of their presence, but ultimately not being able to as much as they'd like... It just looks weird in comparison knowing how things progress since the Ghostlands campaign. Lot of stuff happened in and around the land and it just makes it look like they stopped caring to try getting a permanent fix. All the way to BFA before something new happened with the place.

It's just weird to watch a starter zone, or immediate connected one, have such a substantial problem they don't fully resolve, then you just leave to go fight much bigger things for a few dozen levels.
Funny how it took both races heritage quests to come back to these issues.

Haste speeds the cooldowns, Crit just kills it faster. Killing it faster with more tank damage has more long term worth than you getting an arbitrary amount of protection to be slapped ever so slightly less hard. and totally be able to notice it.

In case of majority of classes, Crit is just better damage/healing to stat heavily into over Mastery.
Tank-wise, as far as I know, only Paladins and Druids don't stack into Crit.

It makes me jealous as shit since when I finally got around to doing a nelf druid in dragonflight I went Teldrassil>Darkshore>Ashenvale>Felwood>Winterspring and it all felt like hometown themes for that character. Humans and dwarves can also get that experience, hell even undead can. But my precious stuffy elf gets to squeeze out 30 levels in thier TBC quarentine zone and then it's off to uh... random "high elf" lodges around lordaeron/khaz modan that aren't just night elf architecture and disjointed from their surroundings. Or of course I can head to TBC proper and admire a few blood elf buildings dotted through orcistan.

I still can't believe we burnt down Teldrassil with just... catapults of regular burning stones/bombs? Is there a chance that Arcane could be a rogue big bad threat outside of void? If you think about it, Night Elves, Blood Elves, Eredar/Draenei were all sort of lead to the path of desiring more and more power through their use of Arcane primarily. And mages tend to be the first to go crazy.

Stats have natural diminishing returns. If you have 5k mastery and add 500 more rating, that's a 10% increase. If you have 1k crit and add 500 more rating, that's a 50% increase. You're gaining 500 stats either way, but one is a much larger proportional increase. It's usually better to split things evenly among relevant stats than it is to stack one, unless you have an important mechanic that plays around mastery, or critical strikes, or you played Blood DK in legion and developed crippling haste addiction like me.

My guild of nearly 20 years has become a ghost town. We formed in vanilla, and between a mix of everyone getting older, having kids and moving on, and the cursed shadowlands exodus, it is now virtually empty (everyone is still in it, and the guild leader and a handful of lifers log on once a week to say high, but 99% of the guild has been konths/ years since last log)

How do I find a new social guild?

I'm very shy, almost terminally so, and been that way forever. I don't do raid, pvp, or m+ because of physical disability. I mostly just do quests or hang out around town.

I've joined a few guilds in the past year or two but keep getting kicked either because I don't speak up much or I only activate my sub a few months a year (to prevent addiction, I used to play 16hrs a day 7 days a week back in vanilla-wrath until I went to college)

It's all in use for trying to pretend that the existence of the shadowlands expansions doesn't ruin the mystique of the afterlife and take away any stakes involved in a character death. After all it's not like I can just hit up my soulbind homie Pelegos on speed dial to get hooked up with a meeting with literally any dead lore character haha.

I developed crippling crit addiction as a prot paladin because getting the crit judgment airstrike and having your sotr cd get reduced felt so good so I could do my seraphims more often and do more damage while I did damage

Blood DK in legion was on crack. Faster rune regen, faster plague ticks, legendary boots that gave you perma 30+% runspeed because of all the haste you had. It turned into way more shield+healing than vers or crit parry could ever give in mitigation.
