Releasing half assed and half baked copy pasted shit from years ago isn't real content. In previous expansions there would be literally nothing between now and .1. I don't know you can cry about this. Is the timewalking BRD raid using 99% old assests? Yes. Is it a fun to run one or twice baby raid that came out six weeks after launch? Yes. These mini content drops are never going to be full on raid tiers and you're retarded if you think they would be. You can piss and moan about Blizzard having infinite money and not being able to give you a full raid tier every two months but this isn't unique to Blizzard so you better make 40 million dollars to go whip everyone who works at any company ever. Mihoyo has more money than god and their smaller content drops are single characters or events coupled with larger "expansions" on a 16+ month schedule. Epic has/had more money than god and actual seasons in Fortnite in terms of content are 99% simple drops of cosmetics. The direct comparison to another successful MMO who, prior to DF, absolutely mogged WoW in terms of patch cadence as far as anyone was conferenced with XIV exists in the context of their roughly 6 to 8 month patch cycles being filled with raids that are allowed to be flashy because they don't bother to go beyond 3-4 boss encounters at a time and are 90% cut scenes if not single dungeon instances. There's no where you can look at where there's a company producing meaningful MMO or large scale content on an overall pace you think exists with "infinite money".

Honestly, the one I always like seeing and never got updated, Alterac Valley.
I miss when BG's just had the theme of the dominant race of the BG's region be the representative faction on the load screen.
The only thing its missing is the map between them like Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin used to have, but understandable, was a big map, whatever. But I still don't like the change of screens for WSG and AB.
Alterac Valley still the best BG and I am always happy to see this load screen.

The top of the shell that is the right mouse button sometimes rubs against the edge of the frame for the middle mouse button and there's a noticeable resistance. but that could just be me and the shape of my hand.

As a resto druid, it's not a big deal, except that your only interrupt requires you to shift to cat. Which means using a global cooldown to shift, then interrupting, then you can go back to healing or whatever. Don't feel pressured to cat-weave for damage, though shifting to cat and using Convoke is an easy bit of fun burst damage.

I'm not very knowledgeable about Mistweavers, but I believe it's mostly a matter of efficiency. Spamming Vivify and Enveloping Mists will burn mana fast, and keeping up with group damage can be hard. Talents can give you more AoE healing and smart-heal options. You can also reduce the damage enemies due by a little bit by damaging them (Mystic Touch), which is a nice preventative. Basically, you're reducing your healing toolkit if you don't bother with damage.

Resto shaman, it's whatever. The damage and healing don't really interact much, if I remember right. So throw out some lightning or shocks if you want when you're not doing much else. It's not integral as a monk's damage, and easier to weave in than a druid's damage.

I'm on my fourth logitech g600. Such a great mouse, but yeah, definitely production flaws.
Now they don't even make them anymore. And for some reason, neither logitech nor any other company makes a comparable alternative (with the g-shift). With the right click starting to go, I'll probably resort to trying to fix it myself with some generic replacement parts that won't feel right.

Stop thinking of m+ as dungeons with trash and bosses.
Think of m+ as one big boss. The trash and their mechanics are relevant. If you down the trash faster, that's safer and better than being slow, that's why so many m+ builds have a lot of aoe.
With that in mind, if your CDs can be efficiently used to clear trash, yes, use them. There are exceptions if your CDs are going to be more valuable for some reason, but as a general rule of thumb, maximize your blasting

Holy priest. Guides on icyveins, the class discord and the method page all use circle of healing and all that left side of the talent tree based on aoe heals, but looking at parses of top teams, fucking nobody uses any of that ever.
Archon.gg seems to give "correct" talents.

Is it really possible that all of the above are just fucking wrong retards and that archon has the real deal or am I encountering some comp/pro level exception here? Like "priests generally have to aoe but in high level they just spot heal" or some shit?
Currently 4/8M and pushing ovi nax.

The m990 has the quick-fire button which is a second left click button and the reason why I bought it to replace the g600. It's too bad the m990's middle mouse doesn't go sideways but it has 16 keys on the side instead of 12 plus 2 extra middle clicks below the middle mouse button so it makes up for it. It's very difficult to use and get used to though because of the sheer number of buttons. I borrowed a sheet of these tiny plastic nail heart stickers from my sister and I stick those on some of the buttons to use as markers to make the buttons easier to distinguish. Took some getting used to but it's great. The config utility is way better than any other mouse I've used, it has a ton of functions and the mouse stores the configurations in the actual mouse so you can move it around without having to install the program everywhere like you do with G-Hub or Synapse.

i did not like the corsair though, i had one. it was too long, i like to have a more forward grip, and i found that little metal part in front of the side keys kept getting in the way of my thumb and made it quite uncomfortable. the laser also wasnt as sensitive as my naga, and i prefer a sensitive laser.

my dad has used a logitech in the past and those seem to crumble like they're made out of lego pieces, i dont recommend them.

should also specify that i have not had to buy one in like 8 years, so my information is all based on the 2016 models. it may not be relevant if build quality or material has taken a nosedive in recent years

Enhance is too good. Shamans overall are too good. I can lock a group of mobs down for 10-12 seconds and keep a mob perma-kicked for about 20. It's nuts. We gonna get nerfed bigly. I can feel it.

I guess having an abhorrent raid tier and the worst mythic+ season ever made even more people play the game casually and actually have a good time. I really hope season 2 has an even worse raid and even worse dungeons so more and more people finally snap and completely abandon maze+ and the long-hinted mythic raiding rework from the devs bears some fruit.

Honestly I'm really glad that Delves sorta became the thing that broke the camels back with Maze+, Maze+ was always a system that was going to cause issues for the game in the long run with the introduction in Legion, thanks to ex Diablo 3 devs who wanted to adapt rifts for WoW.
The Old Challenge mode system from MoP-WoD worked fine, because it was simply you want portals and cool transmog, or limited time mount? Do these dungeons and receive your gold time.
Throw in the gear treadmill? And the system became so much worse because people felt like they needed to do it and just became more and more bitter about it.

Never successfully cleared a 12 despite all ++11's. I'm not a "meta" spec so it's near impossible to even get into a group. I start my own and tanks/heals rarely join because of the above.
Really it's just a bigger heal/kick check than anything else. They aren't hard dps wise but a lot of retards got to 2700 without pressing their kicks properly. It seems like coordination is required between the group about what/when to kick too, its not just "i see cast bar i kick" anymore

CoT is a fucking nightmare though, Orator and Fangs are so fucking tense you could turn a lump of coal into a diamond in you shoved it up my ass. 3rd boss and Izo are so easy if your group can just stack properly that I find the idea of people wiping on those bosses laughable.

yeah that was the time where picking the followup nodes for primordial wave was actually viable, and picking elemental blast wasn't a damage loss in mythic+, making that part of the build have a choice at least between ascendance/thorims and primo wave
now, it's 95% the same talent build for all content and all you do is swap between whether you have crash lightning or not

none of the specs use crit as first bis, only spec that's close is ass whose crit weight is still over 30% below mastery and yes it's crit damage but that would only raise the stat weight slightly, not enough to fill that gap

mage always feels good. fire mage and frost mage always feel good. arcane is good too but that one is more specialized, like picking a certain type of wine from a particular region and particular year: definitely not for everyone. frost(vodka) and fire(rum) however are always good for most people!

blizz need to go back and do a whole sweep of all the aoe abilities and recheck them all to make them stop activating mobs and packs you're not engaged with. they've done this before during DF because lots of spells were pulling random mobs from lala-land for no reason. I was doing a Grim Batol and we were doing the first pack with the big rock guy and 3 casters in the circular room with Foremaster Chungus and for no reason at all the second back that's like 60 yards away decided to pull, surprise us, and wipe us.
