I tend to use it more for getting into cover/escaping a long-distance firefight, whereas slide definitely feels better a lot of the time for entering an enemy-occupied room, pushing someone, or etc

What kind of an injury?
I have fucked up my wrists by playing guitar since my teens (tendon issues from stretching and rsi) plus working with computers all my life.
However, mouse wrist aiming works for me. Controller actually causes more problems.
But CoD is not that healthy game for a kbm player because the movement is fast and predictable + sweats of course.

This is what I don't understand. Who are the people bitching about subguns under preforming? 80% of gun fights happen within SMG range and even at range they only require 1 or 2 more bullets than a rifle. This isn't something I heard anyone complain about outside of random non-prestiges on reddit.

But the recoil and rate of fire wasn't changed. The rounds to kill, and TTK, wasn't changed. All in all ARs got a massive buff with the range increase while the supposed nerf literally wont change anything.

Flank players are PUNISHED for KILLING YOU. It could last for 0.25 seconds and it would STILL RUIN THE GAME.

AK and Model L lost their 3-shot-headshots without the CHF Barrel, which is the one actual major change to AR balance afaik.
The 1/2-point damage changes were to get rid of the dumb shit where ARs had an effective range of like 6 meters. Turns out that they only lost 1 point of damage at that breakpoint so Treyarch finally realized it makes way more sense to just not have that breakpoint to begin with so the ranges on the stat sheets no longer look retarded.

If they -really- want to keep relock to please the "EVERYTHING MUST KEEP TO TRADITION OR I HATE IT" autists then the least they could do is make it more interesting of a process than repeatedly losing all of your stuff.
Like, they could've have things relock once at the start of Prestige 1, then have the re-unlocking happen gradually across the entire 550 Prestige levels (still with a token to get one thing early every 55 levels), rather than relocking everything repeatedly.

CoD netcode heavily favors third worlders with triple digit ping and horrible connections. If you get even one such subhuman in your lobby then it's game over. That's when you start getting melted in two bullets and dying around corners. I don't think the maps are bad. The fact people disagree on which map sucks goes to tell me they are catering to different playstyles and reaction times. Red card is universally hated but I don't have an issue with it other than the bad framerate that I get on that map.

play liberty falls and craft the jet gun as your secondary
make it a habit to prone infront of all the perk machines on your way to pap and doing the pool table/vending machine/head on top of church mini EE's for extra salvage and money
if you are still on the kill step run Dead Wire with Lightning Strike+Extension and just horde inside the bowling alley, abominations rarely ever enter the bowling alley for some reason and if one ever enters then you can just run out into another area then run back
gold is simple as shit, dont need an explanation
for opal you want to horde inside the bowling alley as per usual, switch to spawn area around 28-31 because its easier to dodge the manglers
past round 30 is when the mangler spam starts but 2 direct hits with a fully pap'd launcher with napalm burst will kill any manglers
use the jet gun to clean up regular zombies and save choppers/injections solely for abominations
use aether shroud with Extra Charge as it will let you breathe while you are killing the manglers when they start spawning in en masse
Opal was fairly easy on all guns, just tedious, because you have to get to round 31+ to really get alot of specials aka manglers
i made effort to unlock 2-3 opals per match, going til around round 50 using the above strats
