I tanked and timed my first +12 (Dawnbreaker OFC, gotta start easy)
Pretty happy with it, but I see what people mean when they say thats where things start to get serious. Our DPS was near death all the time from random AoE damage
Might also start adding some of the better players to my fr list, pugging is getting old.

I'm unsympathetic to people bitching about +12s. There were/are issues in the m+ system that trickled down on all key levels (archer mobs being instantly slaughter machines on random key levels and bosses having non % based phases) but once you reach a certain key level it's all just jacking off against a intentionally unbalanced hellhole that does not matter. In previous expansions what that key level might have been was always sort of nebulous (and still is given title is a shifting goalpost) but with them outright just going "+12 is when you should stop caring how we balance this" I can't be assed to give a shit. It's all very well and good to want to have infinite progression but just because the system is in place to allow you to attempt to do that does not mean it should matter that you can or cannot. If your guild manages to get CE and there were glaring issues with bosses that prevented progression on an otherwise smooth track I understand that but that same guild shouldn't start bitching when they then attempt to do alt runs with progressively lower ilvl characters in an attempt to reach the hypothetical promised land of "clearing Mythic NP in 586 ilvl". Yes +12 is a wasteland where it's dogshit to pug and things one shot you. There's going to be a key level where that happens what would you have them do beyond just nerf each individual level as to make that new goal something higher and higher only for you to bitch about it again.

The vast majority of players don't do shit over 2s and even within the context of the overall m+ playerbase even the "high end keys" effectively end at near or around portals. By every metric ever shit like +24s or thereabout are already known as sub 1% of the playerbase even doing m+ in the first place. It's just not something you should care about.

It's an hypothetical infinite tiering system there's no way to balance it all that matters is that the relevant 99% of key levels are not such that you have shit like trying to do the equivalent of a 20 in Siege of Boralus and have the third boss jump on her ship 7 fucking times. The only reason this a discussion is that the keystone system is somewhat arbitrarily infinite. They could have cut off keys from the beginning on title range and it would have and still would be something nobody cares about.

They could have removed the "stop doing keys at 12" shit or moved it to +15 (the equivalent of a +25) but I really do not think you're understanding how much of a minority of a minority of a minority you are on this. The amount of people who are TRYING to pug into title range keys without a dedicated group and are slightly more inconvenienced as they would otherwise be because of these changes are dealing with the dogshit title range keys like 3-5 key levels earlier than they would be. Sure you're losing out on "a few key levels" of prog you could otherwise be doing and I'm not here to say you shouldn't have fun progging into high keys but you've been presented with an arbitrary cutoff point for what was already an arbitrary system to begin with.

I grinded to 1800 in blitz in the first week, my initial impression as i was doing it was that it was a coin flip, but as i progressed i realized it's more like a hand of cards.
It's VERY RNG, but it's not a total coin flip, you may be given a shit hand of cards and there is literally nothing you can do with it to win, other times you're given a stacked hand and it's an easy win, and other times you're given a really fucked hand there is not much you can do with, but there are opportunities for play and you can still make an impact and change the outcome.

There were games where as a solo warrior i literally carried the game and won it for my team by solo capping multiple bases back to back or solo capping a couple of mines or whatever.

I pugged an 11 earlier where we just kept fucking up the orb (even me) and the group disbanded. I immediately pugged into another 11 and we nailed every single orb except 1 on the bosses because the healer was slow to position and it killed 2 of the dps. literally all you do is stealth, put up dots and mash envenoms with caustic spatter up. It's extremely easy, requires very little active tab-targetting to manage DoTs because of how often you apply them to multiple targets.

Literally everything is bugged. Mechagnome weapons become 20x as big, belt sizes are fucked on small races and on orcs, even the most random shit like doodads in Stormwind are out of place or turned at weird angles. This patch fucked up the core of the game itself

Cast was RIGHT to do what he did and I was not even invited. There are several people in Nerub with either legitimate mental deficiencies, refusing to talk in DC etc. who held the people back who apparently were very able to clear queen.

We got to phase 3 on queen during yesterday evenings raid and this issue is still very apparent. We could have cleared on the third pull if it were not for the usual suspects dying to the same shit over and over again.
