Freebeam weapon
>Unlock power and PaP, press all 3 laptops on the way around quick revive and jungle
>Get deadwire mod on a gun
>Use lift and shoot the powerboxes as you go up, 2 more around the jugg building
>Kill woman, get her Fob (electronic key)
>Grab batteries in engineering, open case in seatower and grab resonator, use it in FoB room.
>Do algebra code, or pay peck 5k for it.
>Grab resonantor, go to island with a purple ball.
>Kill zombies until one is charged. Grab orb from killing it use it on ball. Repeat 2-3 times.
>Go to new island with new ball, repeat this process twice.
>Go back to FoB room and build Beam Weapon.
>PaP it at least once.

The quest itself.
>Search for tentacle trap with a keycard on floor. Turn it on and beam the trap with PaP'd Beam. Pick up hard drive and deliver to peck.
>Look at clock in interrogation, playing card in rec room, accident poster in engineering for the code.
>Go to biolab, use code on Nathan's containment chamber, kill Nathan.
>Pick up keycard in biolab water, deliver to peck. Go to comms room and activate ASCII pc.
>Go underneath shipwreck, up hatch and touch connectors. Fight in ship, bring connectors to 2 unconnected cables and repair them
>Go back to peck, grab hack device, go to the 3 buoys and hack each of them.
>Rush to biolab and defuse 3 bombs.
>Get a tier 3 gold/orange/legendary gun
>Go to door by Melee Machiato and activate it
>Kill kraken's 3 phases.

Its more that getting the beam weapon is a gigantic pain in the ass compared to liberty falls

I noticed this too. I believe the mics default setting is very low and you need to manually adjust it which 99% of scrubs won't do. Plus they had that pay for better audio thing a few days back. Could be that.

The “Under the Radar” mission of the campaign is completely broken. For the whole first section I had enemies that couldn’t attack. And in the second part I’ve had constant crashes. Totally unstable. And the story reminds me of Starfield. It’s like hacky community theatre. And a bunch of stupid hokey filler missions too. Weird nonsense mind reading mission? What the fuck was that? Am I playing Call of Duty or Life is Strange?

After playing BO6 for a week., I decided to start up MW3 after not playing it for a month. God I miss this game. I absolutely love this game and playing it right after a bunch of BO6 matches solidifies my preference for MW3 over BO6. The movement feels tighter, the movement in BO6 feels slippery reminds me less of COD and more of XDefiant. The guns and attachments feel so much better,more unique, more depth. BO6 guns and attachments feel overly simplistic. Less customization feels like everyone is running around with the same guns with the same attachments. The maps in MW3 are so much better they feel so much more balanced they feel familiar and better designed. Everything about MW3 feels like it has more depth and at times overwhelming but I actually appreciate that. I’m enjoying BO6 but something about the game feels dumbed down compared to MW3. I feel like I’m playing a lesser game, a downgrade, it feels like COD for Dummies. Anyway I thought I’d make this appreciation post for what has been my favorite COD in history and I’ve been around since the COD2 days.

Here's a few I've noticed too:
DM-10 gets a binary trigger (still RoF capped pretty hard though)
XMG gets a firerate that raises the longer you hold down the trigger
HE-1 gets an absurdly large explosion radius

My brother toggled ESP on and off for the whole life spawn of MW3 and he played on average 4 hours a day or 6+ on the weekends. He's still doing it on blackops 6 because the cheats he used carry right over he didn't have to change anything. It must have been 800+ hours of blatant wall hacking.

Never fully realized how bad hit reg is in this game until I started using the GPMG-7. I'll consistently put 10+ bullets into someone at close range and they wont die. There is nowhere else for my bullets to go besides their body. I can see all the bullets leaving the drum. I can see the bullets leaving my barrel. Yet they live. This is by far the worst COD for gunplay because of this.

Vanguard had super relaxed sbmm. It was honestly so much fun. I think the whole assault and blitz pacing thing fucked with the sbmm. And thats why they never brought it back even though people that hated the game loved that part of the game.

I generally only play to "win" which boils down to only using the base AR/LMG and trying my absolute best to win regardless of map/game mode.
Its fucking annoying I wish I could tolerate using dog shit guns and instantly losing matches without feeling like I'm letting the team down by not putting in my best effort. Last match is a great a example, lost a TDM by 5 points because I spend the first 5 minutes trying to use a marksmen for the daily challenges.

Wallbanging in this game is weirdly consistent. If it feels like something you could shoot through, you probably can with FMJ. Combine that with a medium-slow fire rate and a 150 round mag, I don't even need recon to kill you, I just use the bullets as sonar. I did it in the beta too, no clue why more people haven't figured this out or why it wasn't patched out

great because the campers aren't even aware there's an underground flank route. Honestly a really fun map one you start forgetting about the upper mid lane and take underground instead. On hardpoint, the roles reverse and the surface route becomes the new flank when the hardpoint is in the bunker. pretty cool, reminds me of 2fort

I guess to elaborate, the trick I use on babylon is to play the center. People are scared to for some reason, and so it ends up being clear pretty frequently. It's like the hot girl by herself at a party, everyone is too nervous to approach her so she's lonely

red card's sightlines can be nasty and force you into them, but a lot of them have exits into side routes or into the main route to break from the sightlines or take cover just a little bit ahead of where you enter them. bleachers in particular becomes a much easier location to contest and take high ground if you have smokes. So you use the smokes to cover the sightlines so you can move between the lanes without exposing yourself constantly

Going for calling card challenges & mastery badges contributes a lot to your XP gain. Camos too iirc.
I've personally been using Zombies to powerlevel since its Mastery Badges & camos progress very quickly and the calling cards also tend to be easy.
With the 2xp going rn you can easily get like 100k+ XP in a 31-round session, and with the Rampage Inducer running it doesn't even take that long. Just today I hit Prestige 3.

The boss is a fucking joke once you realize this, he cant hit you on the sides
Juggernog with 50 extra HP and better armor mitigation helps alot
Bring Max Ammo and Instakill gobblegums if you want to have backups and perkaholic for very very very bad fuckups
ASG is honestly the best choice because it has the highest burst damage atm so you never really lose too much DPS by focusing the shitty fodder
Or just do it solo where you get like 6 zombies spawn per minute in the fight lol

I love how this game has actual wall hacks made up from taking the three best perks in the game for absolutely no down side.

I love how every AR and SMG once again just out classes all other weapon types because Treyarch can't develop a working netcode that doesn't desynch as soon as someone hits sprint.

I love how getting 1SK with shotguns even at pointblank is a fucking dice roll and slugs are all 2 shots even to the head or how absolutely fucking useless the Marksman rifle class is outside 2 feet.

I love how every field upgrade comes with a 3 second animation you're locked into that can't be stopped.

i fully believe the SBMM/EOMM algorithm will put you in a laggy ass lobby to force that .5 win rate. sometimes with MW23 i'd have to use an OHK weapon like the signal 50, a shotty or the german bolt action to be able to win gunfights, otherwise i'd be outDPSed every single time
it doesnt seem so bad this time around, but its early in the game's cycle
yesterday most of my lobbies had good connection and hitreg felt right - and i stomped
the day before it was unplayably laggy
today its been pretty laggy as well
i haven't played any other AAA FPS with these fucking problems

I realised that slow movement is only a issue because of the match timer. When you only have 5 minutes a game, you want to fit as much in as you can, hence want to move faster.
Was playing Kill Confirmed (mw19) and it was a slow match but it was fun (people weren't camping, just moving cautiously. Then the match ended and neither time had even reached half way of the objective.

tl;dr: increase the match timer!

Sometimes when the enemy team is coordinated, it's better to stay away from the Hardpoint and just get kills, using your teammates, when they get smacked, kill the attackers. Or leave the match, find another, big deal
