I don't know shit about healing, other than that healer logs and hps doesn't mean shit.
But if there's a consistent difference of hps between one healer and the others, does that mean the others are trash, or is the one better, or is it irrelevant? Should a good raid leader intervene and call people shit, or just let it keep happening as we get more bosses down. We were able to get to Heroic Queen on our first night, after all. I found myself forced into a raid lead position and I don't know what I'm doing.

I've played PvP in other MMOs and WoW's healers are so fucking OP compared to them. No one fucking dies until high dampening or like 3 people barreling into a healer raid boss.

Does the average horde/alliance soldier know what happens in the afterlife now after shadowlands? I can't help but think about how fucking disheartening it'd be to be a 3rd-4th war vet and then learning that friends that died are likely either in skeleton hell or got their memories wiped and forgot all about you.

There's barely nothing to heal unless people deliberately take damage by standing in shit and if the healers know when the unavoidable is coming, they use the correct cd to bring back everyone full life.
It's also about stealing other healer heals, if an evoker does time reversion on big aoe damage, the let's say priest's halo will do shit since everyone is already full. The more healers in the group, the less heal for the healer thus shit parse.

I have a question regarding the silence/suspension system in WoW.
From what I understand (and correct me if I'm wrong) the system is fully automated based on the number of reports received. Even if something is not against the EULA/TOS, the fact that you got reported X amount of times (10 or more according to Google) is enough for automated action.
Furthermore the punishments are incremental, ranging from 24 hours silence to suspensions or permanent bans.

What I don't understand is that unless the account flags somehow fall off over time, how is anyone supposed to play this game? It seems to me that the more you play the game, the bigger the risk you have of being reported - even if you're not technically doing anything wrong.
This would result in an exponential curve driving you ever closer and closer to having your account banned.

For people whom have played for close to 20 years now, why risk it? I don't see this system as anything other than easily abused.

Any thoughts on this?

I quit hc due to sod release, but sadly sod turned out to be the biggest waste of time (should've known it with the stupid phases).
Wanna get back on hc - I still have my 51 tauren druid, but I might start a new char to get used to wow again (haven't played in like half a year). How hard is healing in dungeons hc? Tanking I enjoyed as druid because I could set the tempo (and in emergency you still have your own heals, roots and innervate). Might make a priest next, thanks for reading.

Just did Tomb of Sargeras Mythic solo for first time on a level 70 and I gotta tell you this raid blows... BLOWS every raid that's come out since the fuck out of existence! Why are priests untouchable in pvp?
They just sit with endless absorb shields and take zero damage, and if you do break through the shields they cast an instant heal back to 100% and pop another shield.

Yes, it should just ask to replace your previous one, if you have a warbear woolies mod already. I made a new upload, since I cannot remember where the one I use come from, but if you want to get it from darknest, you could just search for warbear woolies and look for it on there. Because it is old and doesn't exist on the discord server, since most modders quit years ago.

Since the hotfix I think the devs fucked up the instance phasing. I keep phasing into empty orgrammars, 2 seconds later I come back to people everywhere. Also party is invisible when entering dungeons, need to tp out and back in to fix it.

like right now, what is the next raid gonna be? we dealt with the nerubians. xalatath is still out there somewhere. what will happen next? we dont have a clue. i guess xalatath will go "mwuahaha i corrupted something that you didnt know about until now, go raid it". compare that to how clear the story progression in legion was. we knew we would raid the nighthold, we knew we would assault the broken shore and do another raid there, tomb of sargeras final cutscene reveals the location of the next raid. the story was crystal clear and still had ungodly levels of hype

Man, playing literally ANYTHING after getting into ret pally feels like shit. This isn't a joke or a meme or anything, ret is eroding my ability to have fun on anything else. They just actually have too much going on. Simple rotations that do big damage around short cooldowns that scale really well into aoe. Good mobility nowadays that freedom is a 45% sprint combined with the fact that you don't really need to use mobility for anti melee mechanics because hey btw most your spells have range. Meaning you can just play safe and still do about half your dps by larping as a BM hunter. It's simply a luxury that no other melee gets. But that's not all, since the dps gameplay is so simple and safe you get time to optimize your support aspect, feeling like you save the lives of teammates several times in pug content. It all just makes me feel like I'm bringing 150% the value I'd bring on any other spec.
I know how this reads but I'm not trying to glaze ret here. I love the spec I really do, but I like OTHER class fantasies and aesthetics too. I really think they need to take the range off of templar's/final verdict at bare minimum. That would at least force ret to go into the fray to spend holy power and keep dpsing. Moreover I want other classes buffed. Why the fuck do some classes have gimmicky stand in the thing aoe or I can only aoe after I hit a 30 second cooldown? Why do some classes just not have burst? Some have really shitty defensive etc. I know "muh homogenization" isn't ideal but fuck dude, some specs design identity is to get shit on and feel worthless in 70% of content.

How do you even make a sequel for WoW? at some point the bloat+outdated engine will be too much to handle when doing shit like stat squishes and scaling.
If you try to make WoW 2 then you end up sacking 20 years worth of quests/content/continents but then at the same time if you don't you'll eventually just end up with all these overwhelming bugs that happen every time you change something.

Had a weird dream about WoW last night..

I’ve just come back from work. As I open the door, I notice that there are at least a dozen razer headsets in the hallway. I find this quite strange. Obviously I have guests over, but I never expected them.

I go upstairs, and I see pretty much the entire Echo roster that got mythic WF Fyrrak. They all give me high fives, shake my hand, talk with me and make me feel quite special. Though when I try to get into my bedroom,Meeres tells me that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea. I laugh it off and just go through anyway, as I would like to change from my work clothes.

I go into my bedroom and I see Kush in nothing but a towel with a video recorder in his hand. He’s recording Gingi having sex with my girlfriend (missionary).

In my dream, I put my hand on Gingi's shoulder from behind and tell him, “mate, I think that’s enough”.

He responds with “My friend, is ok, no?”

I tell him that it’s definitely not OK.

At this point my girlfriend Emily doesn’t even acknowledge my existence. Rogerbrown comes in and gets me into a full nelson and drags me out of the room. I have been manhandled, ridiculed and disrespected in my own property, by people that I once looked up to.

I’m sitting at the bottom of my stairs, quite bemused. The doorbell rings. I open the door, it’s Scripe. Finally, a man of such respect, regard and authority would restore order in my own household. I approach him, congratulate him on the WF and then go on to explain what has been happening upstairs. He has a trademark smirk on his face and tells me he will take care of it. He practically bypasses the orderly queue formed outside of my bedroom and enters as Kush and Gingi walk out.

Then the next 30 minutes are just followed by loud thumps and squeaking which clearly shows that he was just as bad of the rest of them.

At this point, I woke up because of my alarm. But as I was in the shower I was like what the fuck did I just dream about.

Affliction is about dot spreading and maintaining them
Destruction is about blasting big numbers with chaos bolts and having virtually no cooldowns so it's a constant high of damage with no downtime

Demonology is the pet spec but I haven't played it since wod so no clue how it plays now.

You could do nothing but Ara Kara dungeons to fill your vault but the dungeon track rewards are something random from ANY of the in season dungeons. You'll still be better focusing on the places you want gear from since, you know, you can get gear from the reward chest

stormstrike is by far your best builder, only press lava lash to spread or refresh flame shock
only use your primo waved lightning bolt when tempest is available for max damage
keep up crash lightning buff, otherwise use stormstrike to build maelstrom
sync up cooldowns so you can use wolves -> ascendance -> doomwinds in sequence - then just hammer away at stormstrike to launch/build simultaneously, but hardcast if you're cap out on 10 stacks too fast or get a tempest

open up most packs with flame shock -> crash -> lava lash -> wolves, then primo wave if you have a tempest primed or spend maelstrom on chain lightning until you do
