That's a bit underwhelming. The MA5K in Reach's Mythic Overhaul mod has a more striking model and felt different to operate than the normal AR. Even had its own sounds. This guy made that mod in his spare time even with 3 wars/conflicts going on and during a global pandemic while his house was on fire, probably.
If you told me the MA5K in Infinite was just an AR skin I would believe it. I'm even having a hard time detecting the change in rate of fire since the AR already shoots hella fast. Shouldn't an SMG's reticle be way bigger than the AR? You can almost snipe with it. It's supposed to be a close quarters weapon.

How hard would it have been to put some filter on the AR's sounds to make the MA5K's sounds a little higher pitched or something just to help distinguish it in a match? You can't really tell it from the AR aside from the higher fire rate maybe but what happens when both are shooting at the same time near you? They could have shopped the muzzle flashes to be bigger/smaller/thinnner/fatter, etc. too. And there's no difference in realoading. Not even a slight angle change or a little style change, it's like they want you to know it's as close to a weapon skin as they could get away with while being able to call it a new sandbox edition. It's like they're doing it on purpose. How dos it feel so low budget despite being a AAA studio with MS's backing. What are they doing with all that Microsoft money. It's definitely not going to the Halo Reboot because they're already trying to take shortcuts on that game by switching to Unreal. They basically took the AR, changed some values and used the boolean tool in Blender to delete part of the AR to create a carrying handle/upper receiver for the MA5K. It's hard to get excited for something so half-assed. Can they at least change the sound effect when it shoots?

I've been toying with the idea of an asymmetrical Spartans vs. Elites gametype. Something that screams "Halo" when you play it.
For an idea how this would work: the Spartan team would spawn in Red base, and would have mostly human weapons (and vehicles) around their spawn. Elites would spawn in Blue base with covie weapons. Then a variety of weapons would be scattered on the map, with an effort at balanced weapon placement.
I'm planning on using my 5 weapon sandbox, Conk Rifle, Energy Sword, Plasma Rifle, Needler, and Plasma Pistol, but adding in the AR, Magnum (modded to be less powerful), Grenade Launcher, and Spartan Laser in the mix.

Why am I adding these weapons in particular?
I've edited several maps for the Bangheilios gametype to have my 5 weapon sandbox, but it'd be easy to replace weapons according to a formula, following approximate TTK (remember that my base damage settings are tweaked a bit, so this mostly matches up)
Plasma Rifle -> AR
Needler -> Magnum
Conk Rifle -> Grenade Launcher (or Spartan Laser)
Plasma Pistol -> Grenade Launcher (where such a choice is balance appropriate)
(No Shotguns replacing E-Swords on the map: Swords are cooler)
Maybe that sounds a little arbitrary at first, but besides function and TTK there's a Fiction consideration:
The Grenade Launcher, with its EMP, and the Spartan Laser, seem like cool futuristic weapons that the UNSC might develop to fight Elites: weapons specifically designed to crack through Elite energy shields.

When it comes to spawning, Elites would probably be at a disadvantage up against Spartans, who would spawn closer to the harder hitting UNSC weapons, so I'm considering Elites spawning with Plasma Rifles, Plasma Grenades, and Evade, while Spartans just spawn with ARs and Frag Grenades: No armor ability for Spartans.

Here's the reason for the post:
Another thing to consider is that the choice of gametype could really smooth over any balancing issues. Shifting the focus from Slayer to objectives completely changes the dynamics of play, to a point where I don't think weapon balance really matters as much as smart team play and coordination.
These are what I am considering:
- Neutral Flag CTF
- Neutral Bomb Assault
- Team Headhunter
- Team Stockpile

I'm leaning towards Stockpile, but what do /hg/ think?

It's tricky to explain my reasoning in so few words, to fit the post Char limit.
On several maps I have 2 Conk rifles in symmetrical placements. Hobble Creek for example has two on each side.
By my reasoning, the Conk rifle on the Spartan side would be replaced with a Grenade Launcher.
However, on some maps I've placed a single Conk Rifle in the center or in a Power Weapon spawn position. In these cases you could replace a Conk Rifle with a Spartan Laser and maintain balance.

Also you've got to consider that Elites would have Evade. This is meant to work as a counter to both the headshot capability of the Magnum and as a means to dodge the Spartan Laser, with its charge time.

It's not going to be perfectly balanced, but hopefully balanced enough to be casual fun; mitigated by having a team objective to work towards.

Halo 3 especially has its own civilization of parkour in customs. It's like it's own entire game or even a way of life. These people just spend all day jumping onto different platforms and stuff. I can't even get past the first or second jumps lol.

Atriox serves as the namesake for several positions in his Banished such as Atriox's Chosen and the Hand of Atriox, a rank of enforcers and a special operations unit respectively.[14]

Why are there even snipers on lockout, the map is too small for snipers and yet you can see practically everywhere so its several free kills for you if you happen to spawn near it. That middle section looks like a fun spot to meet up and brawl at but no fun allowed for everyone else. Only the sniper gets to have fun in this map.

You have more weapons to switch between (like a gauss rifle and a spartan laser, plus the original ones), but it's basically the same. Maybe the enemy Seraph/Banshee attack patterns/behaviors changed too but I don't like the space combat either so I just sped through that part asap. But it gets better once you land on the ship. The Exodus mission right after this is really fun in this mod, so use that as motivation to get through the space combat.

How about a DOOM 2016-style game featuring Brutes of warring factions trying to gain control over the other territory. Maybe not as hyper violent but more in terms of movement/gameplay and going into a berzerk mode with more speed and brutality. Like a faster Gears of War and maybe more melee/traditional weapons like axes and hammers and stuff. Maybe have it take place before the Covenant discovered them. So it would almost be like a fantasy game but you're playing as the orcs or barbarians. And the Forerunner stuff could be more mystical and alien when the Brutes discover it.

Probably they had the model lying around before Infinite's development shat the bed, and whoever is running the skeleton crew now simply rushed the coating color pick spots for all we can figure. Normally I don't like bitching and moaning about nitpicky things, but when you can't even fundamentally get Master Chief colors working right on the "Master Chief Mark VI" on your premium ass priced cosmetic, and it's even a problem with its included coating like no one even remotely seems to care or notice, there's a major problem that has to be brought to attention.

What do you think Halo Studios' goal is with the Halo Reboot?
They don't seem as hyped or invested in it as you'd expect for a reboot of this franchise if they want to recapture its former popularity. It doesn't feel like they all scrambled to get a chance to work on Halo, just that Halo Studios happened to be hiring and they thought it would be interesting to work on Halo as professional for their portfolio. They didn't have any gameplay to show off, yet they rushed that vidoc out so fast. What even was the point of it aside from announcing their studio? It's like they're celebrating before they've even proven themselves. The fact that they even bothered to animate such a fancy logo for their 'new' studio before the game is even in a state to show some gameplay shows that they think they're already a big name in the industry. Even if we ignore the fact that they're 343, they're still way too proud and cocky for a brand new studio that hasn't done anything yet. Make a good game people like first, then you can act like you're the next big thing.

Working on an asymmetrical Elites vs. Spartans gametype. Really excited about this, I think it'll be really awesome and chaotic to play.
It's a Stockpile variant, so you collect flags and have to drop them in your team's base.
Stockpile is a great variant for supporting all kinds of playstyles - collecting as many flags as you can, running interference on the enemy team, trying to sneak in and steal enemy flags from their stockpile, playing defense in your base: there's a ton of minute-to-minute decisions to make.
There's all kinds of balance issues to think about, but I'm hoping to achieve "balanced asymmetry".
Spartans will spawn with UNSC weapons in their bases, while Elites will get Covie weapons.
Any balancing issues will be smoothed over by alternating the teams, which I've just come up with a way to do.
It'll be chaotic, but the goal is to make you say "This is Halo" when you play it.

Anyway, thinking about this playlist:
I know I want Tempest, Penance, Solitary, and Anchor 9.
With that map selection you get your Beachy Alpine Foreunner map, you get your purple Covenant alien map, you get an Icy Forerunner interior, and your UNSC spacecraft interior. A pretty solid "classic Halo" lineup.

But I'm also considering Beaver Creek. It's a classic Halo map. It's in the first two games, classic RVB setup, and there's a lot to like about the Reach remake ... but while I like some of the visuals like the interiors of the bases and the creek caves, the skybox is really grey and washed out.
Do people like this map? I'm torn on it.

This is the most beautiful box art ever created. I’ve had it as my phone wallpaper for years. Lots of games do the generic sci-fi soldier on the front of the cover but it looks like shit. It takes special artistic skills to make it look right.

I never liked how off-center/off-balance it was. It's my favorite Halo and I do like the cover still, but I think CE's and 2's covers were more explosive/dynamic. The colors are nice, but it's too solemn and fuzzy for something that was supposed to end the trilogy with a big bang and clear focus. I know the marketing was kind of dark/solemn, but still. And he looks too tilted, like they weren't able to fit him in at the right size while standing straight up so they just rotated the graphic until they could squeeze him into the frame. But it's also like there's too much negative space. It's almost unfinished. And there's not much to look at except for the Chief himself and that fallen space elevator but it's hard to tell what it was at the time, maybe it's supposed to be a crashed Halo (But it's too small to be a Halo...so what is that?)? There's no marines, no flood, no covenant, no spaceships, no vehicles, nothing that really shows the game's excitement and desperation. This was Halo 3, the biggest Halo at the time and the explosive conclusion to the trilogy, but the cover doesn't really express this properly.The lighting doesn't even make that much sense either since the left side of him should also have some backlit parts since the sun is almost directly behind him, not to the right of the camera. And he's just kind of there. There's not enough going on on the right side of the image to have him be placed so far left, so it makes the composition off-balance. Is his helmet or the sun supposed to be the focal point? Or the tip of the AR muzzle? Or maybe the number 3? Not sure. That whole area is a bit low to be placing a focal point. And then on the actual cover the logo can't fit so it's partially covered by the helmet.

Now this makes more sense as a composition. I think someone at MS or Bungie just really REALLY liked the Chief's pose and they had to force it to be the cover. I mean it's a great pose and I don't blame them. I don't know how I'd even improve the cover aside from centering him a little more but it might mess with the color balance they were going for with that backround. If they centered him then the image might be too dark.

The Cortana eyes are a little silly though.

Long and short of it
- Halo CE style combat
- Limited sandbox meant for casual play

- Players will alternate between Spartan and Elite teams in the playlist

There are actually 4 variants of the gametype in the playlist.
I am forcing players to switch roles (Spartans or Elites) by having 2 variants of the gametype, one which designates "Team 1" as "Red Team" and one which designates "Team 2" as "Red Team" (and vice versa for Blue team). At any rate the effect is with these two versions of the gametype, players will switch teams periodically.

Then, on top of this, Anchor 9 needs a special variant of my gametype, modified to have default gravity settings, so that the low gravity section of the map functions properly. So that's 2 more versions of the gametype - a "Low Gravity" version for each team.

Accidentally had a low grav version running on the regular maps.

The Halo 2 map Backwash was based off the ending of the level 343 Guilty Spark in CE. It was originally a part of a map pack on original Xbox Halo 2. It was later removed as the console had problems rendering the fog. There is also an Easter egg outside the boundaries of the map where large red lettering says “It’s a little rough out here”. It is playable on 4v4 matchmaking in MCC.

I think that was kind of the point, even past the marketing you mentioned. This was to be Chief's finale, there's a sunset not dissimilar to the one his "funeral" is held at, and Chief trudging into the dark away from it. It wasn't about the epic and greater conflict, but an ominous reckoning.

Reeee sorry. I keep having people join, and having this really awkward dance of people not attacking me and not playing the objective, and then just quitting because they're confused what the gametype is. It seems that way anyway. You must have joined right as I left 7 minutes of sitting around in pre-game with no players after a random quit out.

This has been a learning experience. This objective gametype shit seems too complex for randoms. Maybe they think it's socials. Maybe they're just confused by all the mod changes, but I just can't get these games working.

Anyway, I'm re-editing the basic Bangheilios slayer with a bunch of new Ideas from creating these gametypes, so I don't see it as a total waste.
Give it another hour, and I'll probably have a game up.

Been a while, maybe last year, but I've seen a couple players fly around in berzerking warthogs, wraiths, and elephants trying to splatter people. Really silly to watch. I think I've seen only one guy that was invincible or had regenerating overshields or something. But all the other hackers were killable during the match. It wasn't like they were overpowered.

I did! Unfortunately Xbox reports don't seem to actually do anything so in the end it doesn't matter.

I've actually ran into them multiple times and it always goes the same. He runs around the map instantly killing anyone and his teammates hide so they don't give up kills.

The few real matches that we had were kinda fun, but it needs to be fixed now.
- I like the AR. It could be treated as a power weapon and fit well on some maps to add variety.

Idk. Earlier in the day I ran a swords-only team slayer session on one map, and got 9-10 players who joined up within the first two rounds and stuck around for a while.
As much as I enjoy Halo when it's complex and interesting, lots of different rules and mechanics to consider, it seems like Bangheilios really just worked best when it was uncomplicated. Slayer with plasma rifles in tight spaces.

I'm currently watching a dog. But later tonight I might run a session of Bangheilios as it was. Probably won't even add ARs or anything funky.

Take the Halo 3 BR, and nerf how fast you can pull the trigger by a little bit.
Buff the Spiker damage.
Make the Spartan Laser more like like the Halo 5 Binary Rifle, so you actually have to keep it on target.
Go back to Halo2/3 vehicle health systems.
The Banshee should never be stronger than it is in Halo 3. (It will have a campaign variant that can slowly fly backwards like in CE.)
DMR can exist, but the rate of fire should be very slow, enforcing it as a marksman rifle without allowing it to break larger maps due to the long time to kill. TTK traded for relative safety that comes with improved range.
Carbine = BR. Needle Rifle = DMR.
Grenade Launcher is honorary Halo and is included in every game from now on.
Esports fags = gassed at the next tournament.

You may not like it, but this is a glance into what peak Halo looks like.

We were actually robbed of Arbiter DLC.
Would have probably focused on Arbiter post-3 returning to his homeworld.
Bungie scrapped it b/c would have been too much work to develop a fully alien-centric story and setting for a one off dlc. Probably market reasons too.

Holy Giga Based. Here I am thinking about dropping the Splazer and replacing it with a buffed Railgun or Skewer but this sounds like a much better idea.
I would also keep the Spartan Laser's chargeup time on top of the Halo 5 Binary Rifle targeting requirement.

What I like about the BR vs Sniper is that it forces the BR to spam the Sniper to keep them from scoping in, and the closer you get to the sniper as a BR the easier it is to deal with said sniper. So it's like a rushdown vs a keepaway. The DMR removes this need to rush down a sniper and the game becomes too long-range. I don't mind the DMR being a rare weapon in some extremely large maps or in campaign, but for the most part I think the BR is better for the overall multiplayer sandbox. We'd have to really playtest the new rate of fire for these weapons to be sure though.

I would simply drop the carbine (and by extension also the dmr) since it's too similar to the BR, but keep the needle rifle. A lot of mods like to add a small radiation AOE DOT to it and then it becomes interesting. But if it's too OP then maybe nerf the magazine size or require a number of successful shots to activate the dot.

Political violence has no place in our democracy. But yes they have overstayed their welcome. The next decade of Halo should be fun/casual-focused.

The funny part is that the coating on the Arbiter inspired armor looks metallic. Someone at 343 has an obsession with making armor look like plastic. It's like he has an uncalibrated/broken monitor and has been crapping out plastic coatings since before release.

I was playing with randoms yesterday and one of my teammates hypothesized that the game is no longer supported by humans at all. It's all automated bullshit that is slowly breaking the game apart (his MCC custom maps were slowly getting fucked up every week).

Yesterday's customs were a mess. Frankly this was partly due to irl stuff. Went to someone's house to dogsit and ended up dealing with several small issues behind the scenes: so it wasn't a great day for it anyway.
BUT
It was a learning experience.

- Figured out a way to alternate which teams players are on. This was kind of scuffed in yesterday's playlist, with certain maps playing twice in a row; but I've come up with an even better solution since yesterday.
- Figured out a simple solution for the problem of player gravity messing up in low gravity sections, due to the Bangheilios gametype's custom gravity settings: this solution has opened up the possibility of using the low gravity sections on Zealot, Anchor 9, and Condemned
- Got to playtest several weapons and vehicles, and get a good feel for how they work in the gametype
- Got a real sense of what style of maps work best with the gametype

After some soul searching, I've realized my favorite matches have been consistently played on my Spire edit, Prisoner, and the forged maps Idoma and Areowalk - the latter two of which are considered 1v1 maps.
I think it's those really tight "1v1" maps that work best with my gametype, even with full 4v4 teams.
Even my favorite map Penance is too big for the gametype at times: to really get the kind of chaos I like going.

With this in mind, I've been editing some new maps to add to the playlist
- Critical Air - turned Condemned's low grav section into an incredibly tight low gravity arena
- Vacuum Sealed - Currently WIP: I'm turning Anchor 9 into a kind of mini-Snowbound, which uses only the red and blue bases and, the Zero G section - with some extended platforms
- The Tower - turned the central tower of Headlong into an enclosed arena. That section of the map has nice verticality, with 3 levels, and full visibility of the central column from each level and the ramps between them. Should play similarly to Prisoner and Areowalk.

King of the Hill is honestly a very good idea, if I had a bigger group of regular players who knew what to expect from my gametype, but I had so much success yesterday with just a simple sword-only slayer gametype, 10 randoms joined within the first two rounds, and many stuck around for more than an hour, that my conclusion is people just respond well to getting shot (or slashed) in the face instantly so they don't have to think about anything else.

Considering the Bungie games have better AI than the 343 games despite the fact 343 could easily port the AI, and 343 original enemies (Prometheans) are crap, absolutely not. Next Halo is going to be blurry, poorly performing UE5 garbage that chases trends and has Ubisoft tier AI. And like with Infinite, they will still try to force their Halo 4/5 vomit art onto the game in some way because they're insufferable, talentless hacks who still want to co-opt a franchise instead of staying true to its original nature. Using Halo 5 music in the initial reveal trailer is the biggest hint they they still want to force "their" Halo, and not Halo (Bungie) Halo.

It's funny how 343i never mastered dynamic waypoints. In Halo 4, enemies would stay in their general area no matter what happens on the field.
In Bungie Halo, they tend to retreat and regroup, and sometimes charge ahead.

4 had the best campaign despite it being a massive step down from 1-Reach but its multiplayer was awful.

5 had the best multiplayer of the new games but the campaign was garbage.

Infinite has both an extremely short/mediocre campaign and weak multiplayer but is the best of the new games. The reasons are that neither the campaign/multiplayer are horrible, they brought back fighting aliens instead of lame robots, and they basically ignored all of the stupid Cortana changes from 4/5.

I still hate that they've made the Forerunners not human and retconned basically all of the original trilogy in the new games. The open world also was a pointless addition that added nothing of real value.

Watching the Winter Update Community Livestream vod. One of the guys talks about how he's seen a couple of hot takes/theories in the community that question their motives for adding 3rd person, and says that the microtransaction customizations are not the reason they added it, and that it was already a debug feature and other mechanics like using turrets/vehicles so they just wanted to add it. And that Halo's origins was always a third person game (in the demo), and it also helps with accessibility for people that can't play first person very well or get motion sick.
But just a couple minutes later he keeps trying to get the other guy on stream to look at his cool new Arbiter-themed armor that you can get from the marketplace. And he keeps bringing it up even when that other guy (rightfully) tries to avoid it or is busy talking about the game itself. Like wtf, man. Why is 343 like this. Why can't they just stop acting like this. And he has the nerve to say he's been here since the very beginning of Halo 2 like he's a true OG. While I did see this thread, I didn't originally intend on actually making a special celebration for it. Starfield felt long overdue to me, probably because of the barrage of Halo news and aych gee happenings that went on after HF3 and the discord leaks. But alas, I want to give something back to y'all.
I joined this place a bit more than a year ago. It was during then that all the shitposting about Infinite being broken and 2042 having more players than Halo was happening, and I got heavily invested in learning about everyone here and partaking in the discussion. I love the incoherent trashtalk and I cherish the few select moments of passion I see in your personalities. Even if Halo never gets played again, I'll still remember all the ridiculous, totally not normal for imageboard standards shit I did with you all. Eh, who are we kidding, I'll host again soon. Luckily for me I've built up enough of a reputation to know people will show.

It's too bad it's just a recycled AR but at this point it IS better than nothing and probably more than we ever could have hoped for coming from 343. It will sure as hell be better for the sandbox than the DMR was. And it was Kurt's weapon of choice so we can't completely knock it. I just wish they gave it a unique sound effect. Maybe higher pitched/more whiny than the AR. Right now it does feel too much like a half-assed amateur weapon mod when actual modders could do way better. But what can you do. I'm surprised they even bothered to give it a unique UI indicator. Small steps I guess.

THANK YOU. If they let this guy try the update early, it means he has a better chance of getting 343 to notice his feedback. I'm glad someone can point it out. And it's easily fixed in the settings. You can do it yourself in customs, so 343 should have no trouble fine-tuning the strafing for the Halo 2 playlist or any classic playlist in the future.

It should happen, but they won't do it because the entire weapon sandbox would have to be altered. And all of the enemy AI would have to be as well, or you would be too easy to hit by their genuine aimbot.
Due to the amount of effort it would take, it might happen in the next Halo, but not Infinite. I'm pretty sure Infinite is getting close to life support stage because they didn't even bother giving the MA5K a unique firing sound.

Okay sure they don't have gameplay animators for Infinite anymore, I get that. But why not reuse Halo 5 animations then? Atleast it would make the MA5K feel a bit different.
There's no technical reason not to, the arms have been using the same skeleton since H4 and the blend animations are still setup the same way.

Halo 3 had the best elites. Reach was a downgrade since it limited them to Invasion mode and custom games. It was also started the trend of making them hulking brutes like in Halo 4 and 5 whereas in the older games they were smaller and the same size as chief.

You don't have to alter any of the weapon sandbox. You can try it yourself in customs vs bots. The bots also have inertia so they become easier to hit, and they can't just zip around back and forth. So even the hardest difficulty isn't that bad, it's like playing against another player in Halo 3, especially with something reasonable like BR starts. I have shitty aim and can't hit stuff even with a mouse/keyboard in the normal game, but in this mode with classic-style settings I can switch to the controller and feel right at home and be able to keep on target. The weapons still feel great and make it easier to aim now, and bots are way less annoying than they are in matches with the default mobility settings.

They're just Halo 2 Elites with slightly cooler armor. But they still move so slow and get slapped around by the Brutes. CE and Reach Elites are fast, tough, and aren't pretending to be honorable weeb samurai. They're fierce alien warriors. I can't stand their running animations in 2 and 3. They look so goofy. Even their voicelines are silly. Can't take them seriously at all in those games. I don't even consider 4 and 5 Elites to be Elites. They're completely off the mark. Infinite made them cool again though.

What do you think about the tv show? I think it was okay. It could have been much worse. Things I liked about the show:

The Avenger sound is slightly different from the Assault Rifle, but that just makes me wish the Assault Rifle sounded beefy again like in CE. They sound too similar. Because of the sound, feels more like an AR variant in a mod than a professionally designed weapon.

I haven't noticed this in practice. The matches seem to play fine even if I turn up the bot difficulty. Maybe it's because I have BR starts for everyone and no secondary weapon, but the matches feel fair. The BR doesn't kill that fast, in fact it feels slower than Halo 3, so when you pick up an AR or Sidekick of a weapon rank it makes more sense as a step up because they're stronger in close quarters than the BR (which is where I play these modes, only on 4v4 maps. BTB might be another monster but I can't spawn a full BTB match of bots and they can't use vehicles anyway), so it's like the weapon starts balance is slightly changed but it's still there in classic form (just swapped since the BR is on kind of on the weaker side in terms of raw dps). And then the power weapons feel like real power weapons now because you can't easily avoid them. Same with the semi-power weapons now that it's easier to hit stuff with them.
So it all ends up feeling like classic Halo in the end. We're not gonna get a 1:1 copy of Halo 2 or 3 in Infinite, but the classic settings do feel like a proper Bungie-style game, just a little more jank. It doesn't need to be exactly the same. I'm gonna give the mode another go and see if I can notice the headshot weapons being too strong. I'll play on the hardest bot difficulty too for the test. I'll even post the settings I use too, if you want to try it yourself. Give me a sec to reply with them.

It's Cyan vs. Violet in BANGHEILIOS in the MCC custom games browser.
Running a session now

King of the Hill

New maps:
- Vacuum Sealed - I whipped up a U-shaped arena in Anchor 9. Think of it as a mini-Snowbound. I re-jiggered the teleporters and some of the Hill placements since last session
- The Tower - Sealed off the central tower in Headlong to create a tight arena, similar to Prisoner or Aerowalk (from previous sessions). Really proud of this map. Plays extremely frenetic with KotH. Since the last session I added a Halo 2 style secret parkour route that no one will ever find

Additionally running
- Idoma
- Penance
- The Cage
- Prisoner
- Spire Top

Come join BANGHEILIOS
Plan to leave this session up for several hours, and I'll be resurrecting my /vm/ posts.

The bloom spreads too fast, meaning you can't even reasonably attempt to kill anyone outside of 20 feet even if you do feather the trigger. Feels more like dual Halo 3 SMGs on Normal.

Yeah, that's my main complaint with it. It's just way too inaccurate for its own good, especially compared to the other two weapons in its class. One being a single beam and the other literally tracking enemies.
I get it, because that is kind of meant to be the AR's niche, but it still sucks. They should have made it select fire between burst and full auto, then it would have at least done SOMETHING new.

I loved it as well, I actually love all bungie halo campaign, but in legendary I hated it, I think ranking wise from most difficult to less difficult it would be 2>CE>Reach>3>Odst. 3 is just above odst because Cortana level, that level was awful.

I'll say the sniper model may be wonky, but the coating that comes with it is a nice "worn steel" look for most of the weapons. Helps give the MA40 more of a Halo 3 MA5C look but with blue lights.
