I'm still using heavy armor on her. You can probably make up the action speed malus with good gear later. I'm still not certain what (if any) unlisted effects luck have. The only abilities that lists luck so far that I recall are followup, counter(after evading), status recovery(for ones that would disappear on their own anyways), and extra reduced damage taken. I haven't noticed my level 1 cover failing when I've needed either it and I don't know if luck affects this. Main reason for wanting luck is the 4 passives she can potentially get that lists luck, and that it's an amount you can't get anywhere else. Whether that's better than speed though, is still unknown.

It's one less mana for Dios only, and for that you trade a nuke and a damage buff to your row, it's absolutely not worth it.

I only realized later that you can repair rocks on B8F which create shortcuts and a new path to a chest in B7F. The shortcuts bypass the poison.

I just realized that a way they can sell some new characters is by introducing those advanced classes. But in order to get advanced class on already existing character it takes a big grind. But then the new characters start out with them right from the gate. So even if you already have a nice party you might want to roll to get fast and easy access to the classes. What do you guys think of this plan?

NG+ Helmut is kicking my ass hard. My party is level 27, I have 2 potions on each and poison/para consumables. I get what I think is really close since I can clear his second rock fall but then I run out of pots and MP on priest. Do I really just need to grind again and again on the den of earth hoping for those low chance drops to upgrade my full set of gear? Also money event when I need cash so bad for those upgrades.

I've bricked myself on the event. Walked into the room that auto-locks, hit an enemy right after entering, fled and it put me on the other side of the door. The door is now permanently locked even if I leave the dungeon or restart

Finished the event, not going to mention the rewards because that's its own can of worms;
I thought the dungeon was dogshit on the first loop, it grew on me a bit during the second loop when I saw how much more dungeon there was, and then it turned to dogshit again when it had me collect more garbage
Finished with 8.5k, not looking forward to grinding the rest out

I seem to be getting around 600~ shards for every 30-45 minutes of grinding on max difficulty, one shotting every wave.
The real block is finding the enemies more than anything else.
Which means it's several hours to get all the small books. Wish fighting the boss gave something.

You need to eat 2 pieces to uncap 1 gear, every single level. 3->1, 3->1
So first uncap needs 3 pieces (1 eats 2)
Second uncap needs 3 pieces (1 eats 2) (in total you need 9 original pieces, because you need the same unify level)

Besides people bricking themselves and not knowing to use a menu to get out of it the event's pretty easy, just do it. Keep in mind that if you want to repeat the event for more Gerulf maces, you can farm Entity Shards by leaving and going back to the same spot to get one over and over, since chances are you'll be locked out of some of the side paths to get to some of them due to carrying over crystals bricking you from being able to open those paths, lol.

In all seriousness there seem to be a number of these respawning bone chests. Seems like you're allowed to get some number of bones daily from the dungeon either through these chests or bone picker.

It's really to taste. I don't think any characters are unviable with their default stats. Personally I keep vit values between 12 and 16, then just pump whatever their highest stats are. Because they're not my characters, they're the dev's characters, if they made a retarded stat spread it's their fault not mine.

I give up. Fuck this event. I'm not a teenager with too much free time to slave myself away like I'm playing Granblue just for enough to level up 1 skill, and some decayed dog bones.
Being like a lab rat in a maze on Trade Waterway is fun because I can immediately see what I'm getting, my own progress, and feel the dopamine in my brain when sniffing for chests like a dog. But on the Lamp of Malice? It's annoying.
Anyways, it's a single player game, and even if they implement PvP, I would just to the bare minimum for seasonal rewards, or nothing at all if it's also stingy.

Not the original series at least, it was cut in the same cloth as Might & Magic, often serious but it could get extremely silly when it wanted to.
To give you an idea, the last game by the original dev had you activate an air defence battery to shoot down a spacecraft from the sky, allowed you to insult another craft, had a MacGyver job all about breaking shit to create weapons of mass destruction and the ultimate job was pixie ninja because an absolutely broken weapon was made exclusively for them, also, the Male Loner Voice 2 is probably the best voiceset for a party member ever in a blobber.

DEF matters a comedic ton because it's a straight Attack - Defense check on damage.
My Lana can sometimes take 0 damage when ambushed because of her def + def buff.
Meanwhile if my Flut ever gets hit she crumples because I refuse to put anything other than mage gear on her.

The sword sucks against high def enemies (slimes) but you can also bring a shield along with the stat bonuses that carries. You can also just use the defence debuff or heavy attacks to make high def irrelevant.

Man, I just finished the 2nd Loop with everyone lives, and I gotta say that these devs really know how to make the most of their bosses. This is all my opinion and how I've made my way through the game so feel free to do things in your own way.
Light or heavy armor whatever has the best rolls is generally will be more than enough for what you need.
You're aiming for a little bit of action speed on one of your items the rest should be mainly crit (surety until 20), defense, ATK % and ATK flat.
The action speed is necessary to be able to properly take advantage of big nuke setups while not being so slow that you'll end up going after a boss.
You should aim for around 20 surety which is generally 2 decent quality pieces (3 star or so) at +5 enchant with a main stat of surety should hit it.
With the crit buff that priest can apply you'll be criting nearly every blow.
The attack%/flat/defense is all interchangeable just the type of stuff you like on your gear.
5head metagaming schizos fighters will run a 2h and also carry a 1h + shield to swap around mid fight.

We have no idea what's intended, people thought infinite mausoleum was intended during the first few days before realising thief was bugged. The fact that you have to rewind with the cursed wheel means it's likely unintended especially since there's a few other rewindable bones that turn to dust if you try to get them again. The wind sword doesn't return when you rewind and they stopped light sandals from returning too.
There's nothing wrong that thinking this is fine, but you need to add a disclaimer to do it at your own risk.

B8F request is faster, there's 3 waves but if you backup from the 3rd, you can refight the 1st and 2nd wave again just by going back into the fight. The problem is that the 1st wave features 2 ents and the 2nd wave has 3 lesser demons, all of whom are pretty tanky, easily >1k hp each.
If you somehow get enough magic to 2~3 shot the above, then it's definitely a far faster farm from not having to do cursed wheel fuckery.

The nuke is just icing on the cake.
Her innate passive makes it so every buff and debuff she casts is extended by an extra turn making her the absolute best buff/debuffer.
So on top of having the longest buffs and debuffs in the game she can just cast an AoE nuke and save your life especially in the early phase of the game.

The nuke is once per battle, and despite it talking about being stronger once Labadios is learned, it's currently an unlearnable spell so Alice uniquely has an AoE spell which no other priest gets.
Aside from that, AoE spells are mostly used for farming where you just nuke a couple of enemy groups, scoop up all the chests you can and then go back to town.

the reason you use spears over other harder hitting 2handers is accuracy and no range penalty.

Nimble Strike doesn't raise attack power from Dex. It raises Crit-chance from Dex.
So if you have high Dex and wield a Nimble Strike weapon you'll crit basically always.

I followed a guide from a discordfag and managed to get rid of it.
But basically it is going back to before that objective (Despicable trap node I think) and just redoing shit and it should clear.
I just redid the entire dungeon from that point because I was strong enough that all the fights were a breeze anyway.

The calculation for power is bugged. It's been acknowledged.
But "power" is also just an approximation of power and has no actual in-game effect (unless it affects dispatches maybe?).
So it shouldn't actually affect you. Even if the power went down. Your stats still went up and that means you're stronger than before, not weaker.
