Nah, you're being overdramatic. Imho, it's kinda on part with inquisition, sometimes better, sometimes worse, it's infinitely better than da2. The theyfab (taash) in this game is better than the lesbian (sera) of the previous one. Taash is a weirdo, but mostly tolerable aside from a few scenes, but Sera was way too quippy and insufferable, and it's always on, not just a few cringe scenes, and I hated her voice as well. I honestly was expecting a lot worse thanks to the past few days of taash/trash memes.

It's so jarring to just transition from one mission to the next without set up or choice.
I can't you can't talk with companions unless they have a scene to prompt.
The whole gamification of things is annoying. Level up shops to unlock the gear they have shown that you can't buy yet. Display summaries when decisions occur and end levels with a similar summation that it's finished. It's so bizarre, the series tried it's best to immerse the player before without being inconvenient but Veilguard feels like mobile slop or something.

what happened in inquisition is irrelevant now, even if what happened was mythal possibly having a hold on her. I can just discard any future game as canon from O-II-I without any issue thanks to that.

At the time the rationale for no sex scene was the knowledge that a lot of the player base would flip shit if there was a thousand year plus age gap, call it predatory, etc. so you could imagine one or not. Removing face tattoos leaves more of a lasting impression than dick inside, they went on to write taash so fuck knows what happened to their sense.
