Yes, I used to main mage before I started playing monk and the transition to mistweaver is actually surprisingly easy. You can play it as a full caster healer and move on to trying out a fistweaving build once you're comfortable with the class

You don't have to be in melee. There are two distinct builds, one which focuses on using melee attacks to heal and another which is a traditional caster healer

oh wow, i figured it would just be a m+ and raid build but damn. too many options gives me a headache. that said, i mostly just do heroic raids and i'm ready to retire my mage as it's unfun as fuck to play. i leveled a druid and have been using it for gathering and roll resto for instant invites to shit for bronze tokens but i find resto shit to play because you have to prepare so much shit ahead of time. would you say melee or cast is more fun, and which one works for raid better? also what's best race for monk on horde?

Both are very fun. I believe melee is preferred for mythic+ and the casting build is preferred for raids. The best race is whatever you find most aesthetically pleasing.

In the Story time event, Lorewalker Cho tells the story of The Heroes of the Scarab Wall, in the stage there is a representation of the heroes, among them is the Troll druid.
The story of Heroes of the Scarab Wall takes place in Patch 1.9.0, trolls could not be druids, the druid option only became available to Trolls in Patch 4.0.1.
This shows that Blizzard has great disrespect for the history of the game they are trying to celebrate, or worse, they are trying to rewrite history.
They could have made the Night Elf a druid and the Troll a hunter and avoided this problem.

aldrachi is deeply underwhelming in pve but it's built for pvp. the hunt and the sigil that spews soul shards are 2 guaranteed glaive charges, and you're certain to get more charges from all the smacking the enemy with the first 2 sets of enhanced blade dance/chaos strike. It's a not as good of a burst compared to fel scareed, but more consistent over a long period of time which is great for pvp. you go through helpless periods lacking cooldowns much less frequently

all delve entrances so far have been underground. how would that work? you go into a cave and it comes out above a pirate ship? the air in stranglethorn is retconned to be soil? there is a tunnel of floating soil in stranglethorn? there is a portal in the delve that takes you to a pirate ship? it's an underwater delve that has you board the pirate ship? you walk into a cave to enter the delve portal and it comes out to the open ocean? they just have an above ground delve portal against all precedent? the pirate ship is underground? the southsea pirates keep their treasure underground? the southsea pirates constructed their ship underground without thinking how they'd get it out? they constructed it underground because griftah sold them a ship in a bottle, saying they need only break the bottle to free their ship from any enclosure?

for example, there can be a huge pirate ship operated by the south sea pirates that's landed to booty bay, and the entrance could be a crack in the ship somewhere.

SS frost wasn't overpowered on ST or AOE. arcane blew it out of the water in most content. arcane got nerfed as a result and frost got an accidental nerf alongside it because the devs are retarded. they reverted it but still fucked spellslinger so badly that you just turret frost now. we won't even talk about the state of fire. mage is extremely bad and was barely pulling above augvokers last week and it's barely doing better this week. i've been playing mage for 18 years so suck me hard through my jorts loser

People are going to convince themselves that this meant that blizzard is going to acknowledge Half Elves as always apart of the game, but if they were doing that, they would've thrown the option onto Forsaken as well.
